   以法莲吃风，并追赶东风，天天增添虚谎和强暴，与亚述立约，把油送到埃及。

   以弗瑞用风喂养，并跟随东风；他每天增加谎言和荒凉；并且他们和阿叙利亚立了个契约，又把油带进埃及里。

   以法莲吃风，且追赶东风，时常增添虚谎和强暴，与亚述立约，把油送到埃及。

   Ephraim feedeth on wind, and followeth after the east wind: he daily increaseth lies and desolation; and they do make a covenant with the Assyrians, and oil is carried into Egypt.

2. 2

   耶和华与犹大争辩，必照雅各所行的惩罚他，按他所作的报应他。

   主与犹大也有一个争议，并要按照雅克布的众道路惩罚他；他要按照他的做法报酬他。

   The LORD hath also a controversy with Judah, and will punish Jacob according to his ways; according to his doings will he recompense him.

3. 3

   他在子宫中抓住哥哥的脚跟，壮年的时候与神较力，

   他在子宫里抓住他弟兄的脚跟，并且借着他的强力，他有了权力与神在一起；

   他在腹中抓住哥哥的脚跟，壮年的时候与　神较力，

   He took his brother by the heel in the womb, and by his strength he had power with God:

   与天使较力，并且得胜，哭泣恳求他，在伯特利遇见他，在那里他与我们说话；

   是的，他有权力管理天使，并得胜；他哭泣，并向他祈求；他在贝斯尔里找到他，他又在那里他与我们讲话；

   与天使较力，并且得胜，哭泣恳求，在伯特利遇见耶和华。耶和华万军之　神在那里晓谕我们以色列人；耶和华是他可记念的名。

   Yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto him: he found him in Bethel, and there he spake with us;

   耶和华万军之神，耶和华是他的纪念。

   就是主众军之神；主是他的记念。

   Even the LORD God of hosts; the LORD is his memorial.

6. 6

   所以你当转向你的神，谨守怜悯、公平，一直等候你的神。

   因此你要转向你的神，持守怜悯和判决，并持续侍候你的神。

   所以你当归向你的　神，谨守仁爱、公平，常常等候你的　神。

   Therefore turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgment and wait on thy God continually.

   以法莲是商人，手里有诡诈的天平，爱行欺压。

   他是一个商人，他的手里有欺骗的天平；他爱去压迫。

   “以法莲是商人，手里有诡诈的天平，爱行欺骗。

   He is a merchant, the balances of deceit are in his hand: he loveth to oppress.

   以法莲说，然而，我成了富足，得了财宝；我所劳碌得来的，人必不见有什么不义，可算为罪的。

   然后以弗瑞说，而我成为富足，我已经给自己找到了实物；他们在我所有的劳动中都不能在我里面找到是罪的罪过。

   以法莲说：‘我果然成了富足，得了财宝；我所劳碌得来的，人必不见有什么不义，可算为罪的。’

   And Ephraim said, Yet I am become rich, I have found me out substance: in all my labours they shall find none iniquity in me that were sin.

9. 9

   自从你出埃及地以来，我就是耶和华你的神；我必使你仍住帐幕，如严肃会的日子一样。

   从你出埃及的土地以来，我是主你的神，仍然要使你去住在帐幕里，就像在严肃节的日子一样。

   自从你出埃及地以来，我就是耶和华你的　神；我必使你再住帐棚，如在大会的日子一样。

   And I that am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt will yet make thee to dwell in tabernacles, as in the days of the solemn feast.

10. 10

    我已借众先知说话，并且加增异象，借先知设立比喻。

    我也已经借众预言者讲了话，并且我成倍增加了异象，又借众预言者的服侍，采用了相似事物。

    “我已晓谕众先知，并且加增默示，藉先知设立比喻。”

    I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets.

11. 11

    基列人没有罪孽吗？他们果然是虚假的。他们在吉甲献牛犊为祭，他们的祭坛好像田间犁沟中的乱堆。

    基拉得里没有罪过吗？他们肯定是虚空的；他们在基尔高里祭祀牛犊；是的，他们的坛就像田地众犁沟里的堆堆。

    基列人没有罪孽吗？他们全然是虚假的。人在吉甲献牛犊为祭，他们的祭坛好像田间犁沟中的乱堆。

    Is there iniquity in Gilead? surely they are vanity: they sacrifice bullocks in Gilgal; yea, their altars are as heaps in the furrows of the fields.

12. 12

    从前雅各逃到叙利亚，以色列为得妻服侍人，为得妻给人放羊。

    雅克布逃进了叙利亚的地区，并且以色列为了一个妻子而服务，并且他为了一个妻子而看守羊。

    And Jacob fled into the country of Syria, and Israel served for a wife, and for a wife he kept sheep.

13. 13

    耶和华借先知领以色列出埃及；以色列也借先知而得保存。

    主借一个预言者带以色列出了埃及，他又借一个预言者被保全。

    耶和华藉先知领以色列从埃及上来；以色列也藉先知而得保存。

    And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.

14. 14

    以法莲大大惹动主怒，所以他流血的罪必归在他身上。他的主必将那因以法莲所受的羞辱归还他。

    以弗瑞非常苦毒地惹他生气；因此他会把他的血留在他身上，并且他的主会把他的羞耻还给他。

    Ephraim provoked him to anger most bitterly: therefore shall he leave his blood upon him, and his reproach shall his LORD return unto him.
