    当以色列是一个孩子时，我爱他，就从埃及召出我的儿子来。

    当以色列是一个孩子时，那时我爱他，就召了我的儿子从埃及出来。

    “以色列年幼的时候，我爱他，就从埃及召出我的儿子来。

    When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.

    他们越发呼叫他们，他们越发走开，他们向巴力献祭，给雕刻的偶像烧香。

    他们怎样呼叫他们，他们就怎样离开他们；他们向巴尔林祭祀，又给雕刻的众形象烧香。

    先知越发招呼他们，他们越发走开，向诸巴力献祭，给雕刻的偶像烧香。

    As they called them, so they went from them: they sacrificed unto Baalim, and burned incense to graven images.

    我又教导以法莲行走，拉着他们的双臂，他们却不知道是我医治他们。

    我也教导过以弗瑞行走，拉着他们的双臂；但他们不知道是我医治了他们。

    我原教导以法莲行走，用膀臂抱着他们，他们却不知道是我医治他们。

    I taught Ephraim also to go, taking them by their arms; but they knew not that I healed them.

    我用人绳爱索牵引他们；我待他们如人放松牛的两腮夹板，把粮食给予他们。

    我用一个人的绳子，用爱的带子，吸引他们；我对他们就像那些卸下了腮上的轭的人，我又把食物摆着给他们。

    我用慈绳（慈：原文是人的）爱索牵引他们；我待他们如人放松牛的两腮夹板，把粮食放在他们面前。

    I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid meat unto them.

    他们必不回到埃及地，亚述人却要作他们的王，因他们拒绝转回。

    他不会回去进入埃及的土地，而阿叙利亚人会成为他的王，因为他们拒绝回去。

    “他们必不归回埃及地，亚述人却要作他们的王，因他们不肯归向我。

    He shall not return into the land of Egypt, and the Assyrian shall be his king, because they refused to return.

    刀剑必临到他们的城市，毁坏枝条，把他们吞灭，都因他们随从自己的计谋。

    并且剑会留在他们的众城市上，并会消灭他的枝子，又把他们吞灭，因为他们自己的建议。

    刀剑必临到他们的城邑，毁坏门闩，把人吞灭，都因他们随从自己的计谋。

    And the sword shall abide on his cities, and shall consume his branches, and devour them, because of their own counsels.

    我的民偏要背道离开我；众先知虽然呼叫他们转向那至高的，却无人尊崇他。

    我的人民偏要背道脱离我；虽然他们呼叫他们转向那至高者，根本没有人愿意升高他。

    我的民偏要背道离开我；众先知虽然招呼他们归向至上的主，却无人尊崇主。

    And my people are bent to backsliding from me: though they called them to the most High, none at all would exalt him.

    以法莲哪，我怎能交出你？以色列啊，我怎能弃绝你？我怎能使你如押玛？怎能使你如洗扁？我回心转意，我的怜爱大大发动。

    以弗瑞，我该怎么交出你？以色列，我该怎么拯救你？我该怎么把你变成阿得马？我该怎么把你立作泽伯音？我的心在我里面转向，我的诸多后悔被一起点燃了。

    “以法莲哪，我怎能舍弃你？以色列啊，我怎能弃绝你？我怎能使你如押玛？怎能使你如洗扁？我回心转意，我的怜爱大大发动。

    How shall I give thee up, Ephraim? how shall I deliver thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah? how shall I set thee as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled together.

  9. 9

    我必不发猛烈的怒气，也不再毁灭以法莲。因我是神，不是人，是你们中间的圣者；我也不进这城。

    我不会执行我猛烈的气愤，我也不会转过去毁灭以弗瑞；因我是神，不是人；是在你当中的神圣者；我也不会进入这城。

    我必不发猛烈的怒气，也不再毁灭以法莲。因我是　神，并非世人，是你们中间的圣者；我必不在怒中临到你们。

    I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city.

  10. 10

    耶和华必如狮子吼叫，他们必跟随他。他一吼叫，儿女就从西战兢而来。

    他们会跟随主；他会像一只狮子吼叫；当他一吼叫，那时这孩子们就会从西边颤抖而来。

    “耶和华必如狮子吼叫，子民必跟随他。他一吼叫，他们就从西方急速而来。

    They shall walk after the LORD: he shall roar like a lion: when he shall roar, then the children shall tremble from the west.

  11. 11

    他们必如雀鸟从埃及战兢而来，又如鸽子从亚述地来到。我必把他们安置在他们的家里。这是耶和华说的。

    他们会颤抖像只鸟一样出埃及，又像只鸽子一样出阿叙利亚的土地；并且我要把他们放在他们的家里，这是主说的。

    他们必如雀鸟从埃及急速而来，又如鸽子从亚述地来到。我必使他们住自己的房屋。这是耶和华说的。”

    They shall tremble as a bird out of Egypt, and as a dove out of the land of Assyria: and I will place them in their houses, saith the LORD.

  12. 12

    以法莲用谎话，以色列家用诡计围绕我；犹大却与神一起掌权，与圣徒们一起有诚实。

    以弗瑞用谎言，并且以色列家用欺骗，围绕我；但犹大仍然与神一起管理，并与圣徒们一起是守信的。

    “以法莲用谎话，以色列家用诡计围绕我；犹大却靠　神掌权，向圣者有忠心（或译：犹大向　神，向诚实的圣者犹疑不定）。”

    Ephraim compasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful with the saints.
