   那时，分封的王希律听见耶稣的名声，

   那时，四元总督海若得听见耶稣的名声，

   At that time Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Jesus,

   就对臣仆说，这是施浸的约翰从死里复活，所以这些大能的工作从他里面发出来。

   就对他的众仆人说，这是施浸者约翰；他从死里复活了；因此有这些大能的工作在他里面显出来。

   就对臣仆说：“这是施洗的约翰从死里复活，所以这些异能从他里面发出来。”

   And said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.

   因为，希律为他兄弟腓力的妻子希罗底的缘故，把约翰抓住，锁在监里。

   因海若得为他弟兄菲利普的妻子海若得亚斯的缘故，抓了约翰，捆绑他，又关到监狱里。

   起先，希律为他兄弟腓力的妻子希罗底的缘故，把约翰拿住，锁在监里。

   For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife.

   因为约翰曾对他说，你娶她是不符合律法的。

   因约翰对他说，你拥有她是不合法的。

   因为约翰曾对他说：“你娶这妇人是不合理的。”

   For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her.

   那时，他就想要杀他，他畏惧众人，因为他们以他为一个先知。

   当他想要处死他的时候，他畏惧大众，因为他们把他算为一个预言者。

   希律就想要杀他，只是怕百姓，因为他们以约翰为先知。

   And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.

   到了希律的生日，希罗底的女儿在众人面前跳舞，使希律欢喜。

   但当海若得过生日时，海若得亚斯的女儿在众人面前跳舞，就使海若得喜悦。

   But when Herod's birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod.

   于是，希律就起誓，应许随她所求的给她。

   Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask.

   And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist's head in a charger.

   王便忧愁，但因他所起的誓，又因同席的人，就命令给她；

   王就难过；虽然如此，因他的誓言的缘故，又因与他坐在一起进食的人，他就命令给她。

   王便忧愁，但因他所起的誓，又因同席的人，就吩咐给她；

   And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath's sake, and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her.

    于是差人去，在监里斩了约翰，

    他就派人，在监狱里斩了约翰。

    于是打发人去，在监里斩了约翰，

    And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.

    把头放在盘子里，拿来给了女子；女子拿去给她母亲。

    并把他的头摆在一个盘子里，给了这少女；她就把它带给了她母亲。

    And his head was brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother.

    他的门徒们来，把尸首领去埋葬了，就去告诉耶稣。

    And his disciples came, and took up the body, and buried it, and went and told Jesus.

    耶稣听见了这事，他就上船从那里独自退到野地里去。众人听见，就从各城里步行跟随他。

    当耶稣听见了这事，他就单独乘船从那里离开进入一片荒漠地方；当人民听说了，他们就从各城里步行出来跟随他。

    When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.

    耶稣出来，见有许多的人，就怜悯他们，治好了他们的病人。

    然后耶稣出来，看见很多大众，他就被对他们的同情触动，然后他就医治了他们的病。

    And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.

    天将晚的时候，他的门徒们过来，说，这是野地，时候已经过了，请叫众人离开，他们好往村子里去，自己买吃的。

    当晚上的时候，他的门徒们来到他那里，说，这是一片荒漠地方，并且时间已经过了；让大众走吧，使他们可以进入村子里，自己买吃的。

    天将晚的时候，门徒进前来，说：“这是野地，时候已经过了，请叫众人散开，他们好往村子里去，自己买吃的。”

    And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.

    耶稣对他们说，他们不用离开，你们给他们吃吧。

    而耶稣却对他们说，他们不用离开；你们给他们吃吧。

    耶稣说：“不用他们去，你们给他们吃吧！”

    But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.

17. 17

    他们对他说，我们这里只有五个饼，两条鱼。

    然后他们对他说，我们这里只有五个面包，和两条鱼。

    门徒说：“我们这里只有五个饼，两条鱼。”

    And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.

18. 18

    他说，拿过来给我。

    他说，把它们带到我这里。

    耶稣说：“拿过来给我。”

    He said, Bring them hither to me.

19. 19

    于是他命令众人坐在草地上，就拿着这五个饼，两条鱼，望着天祝福，掰开饼，递给他的门徒们，门徒们又递给众人。

    并且他命令大众在草地上坐下，就拿着这五个面包，和两条鱼，望着天，他祝福了，就掰开，并把面包给他的门徒们，门徒们又给大众。

    于是吩咐众人坐在草地上，就拿着这五个饼，两条鱼，望着天祝福，擘开饼，递给门徒，门徒又递给众人。

    And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

    他们都吃，并且吃饱了；把剩下的零碎收拾起来，装满了十二个篮子。

    And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.

    And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.

22. 22

    耶稣立刻催他的门徒们上船，先渡到那边去，同时，他叫众人离开。

    然后耶稣直接强迫他的门徒们进入一条船，并且在他之前到另一边去，同时他让群众走了。

    耶稣随即催门徒上船，先渡到那边去，等他叫众人散开。

    And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.

23. 23

    他叫众人离开以后，他就独自上山去祷告。到了晚上，只有他一人在那里。

    当他让群众走了，他就单独的上了一座山去请求；当晚上到来的时候，只有他在那里。

    And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

    那时船在海中，因风不顺，被浪摇撼。

    但船当时正在海当中，被浪摇晃；因风是相反的。

    But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.

25. 25

    夜里四更天，耶稣在海上走，往他们那里去。

    在那夜第四守望的时候，耶稣去到他们那里，在海上行走。

    And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.

    当门徒们看见他在海上走，他们就惊慌了，说，是个灵；他们便畏惧，喊叫起来。

    当门徒们看见他在海上行走，他们就不安，说，它是个灵；然后他们就因畏惧而呼喊。

    门徒看见他在海面上走，就惊慌了，说：“是个鬼怪！”便害怕，喊叫起来。

    And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.

    耶稣连忙对他们说，放心，是我，不要怕。

    但耶稣直接对他们讲，说，要开心；这是我；不要害怕。

    耶稣连忙对他们说：“你们放心，是我，不要怕！”

    But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

28. 28

    彼得回答他说，主，如果是你，请叫我从水上走到你那里去。

    然后彼得回答他说，主，如果这是你，叫我在水上来到你那里。

    彼得说：“主，如果是你，请叫我从水面上走到你那里去。”

    And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.

29. 29

    他说，来吧。彼得就从船上下去，在水上走，要到耶稣那里去；

    他说，来吧。当彼得从船上下来，他就行走在水上，要去到耶稣那里。

    耶稣说：“你来吧。”彼得就从船上下去，在水面上走，要到耶稣那里去；

    And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

30. 30

    但当他见风很大，就害怕，将要沉下去，他就喊着说，主啊，救我。

    但当他看见风喧嚣，他就害怕；并且开始下沉，他呼喊，说，主，救我。

    只因见风甚大，就害怕，将要沉下去，便喊着说：“主啊，救我！”

    But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

31. 31

    耶稣立刻伸出他的手抓住他，对他说，你这小信心的人哪，为什么疑惑呢？

    然后耶稣立刻伸出他的手，并抓住他，又对他说，你这小信心的人啊，你为什么怀疑？

    耶稣赶紧伸手拉住他，说：“你这小信的人哪，为什么疑惑呢？”

    And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

32. 32

    当他们上了船，风就止住了。

    当他们来进到船里，风就停止了。

    他们上了船，风就住了。

    And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.

33. 33

    在船上的人都来敬拜他，说，你真是神的儿子。

    于是这些在船里的人都来敬拜他，说，事实上你就是神的儿子。

    在船上的人都拜他，说：“你真是　神的儿子了。”

    Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

34. 34

    然后他们过了海，来到革尼撒勒地。

    当他们过了海，他们就来进入基尼撒瑞特的土地。

    他们过了海，来到革尼撒勒地方。

    And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret.

35. 35

    当那里的人有了他的知识，他们就派人到周围地方去，把所有的病人带到耶稣那里，

    当那地方的人们知道了他，他们就派人出去进入到周围的地区，然后把所有生病的人带到他那里；

    那里的人一认出是耶稣，就打发人到周围地方去，把所有的病人带到他那里，

    And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased;

36. 36

    只求他准他们摸他的衣裳穗子；摸着的人就全好了。

    只恳请他让他们碰他衣服的下摆；凡是碰到的人就完全好了。

    只求耶稣准他们摸他的衣裳繸子；摸着的人就都好了。

    And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.
