Now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum.

有一个百夫长所亲爱的仆人害病，快要死了。

And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear unto him, was sick, and ready to die.

当他听说了耶稣，就托犹太人的几个长老去恳求他来医治他的仆人。
当他听说了耶稣，他就派犹太人的众长者到他那里，恳请他来医治他的仆人。
百夫长风闻耶稣的事，就托犹太人的几个长老去求耶稣来救他的仆人。
And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant.

他们到了耶稣那里，就立即求他说，给他行这事是他所配得的；
当他们来到耶稣那里，他们就立即恳请他，说，他是配得为他做这事的；
他们到了耶稣那里，就切切地求他说：“你给他行这事是他所配得的；
And when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, saying, That he was worthy for whom he should do this:

因为他爱我们的百姓，又给我们建造了一个会堂。
因他爱我们的国家，并且他为我们建了一个会堂。
因为他爱我们的百姓，给我们建造会堂。”
For he loveth our nation, and he hath built us a synagogue.

耶稣就和他们一起去。离那家不远，百夫长托几个朋友去见他，对他说，主，不要麻烦你自己；因你到我舍下，我不敢当。
于是耶稣就和他们一起走。当他离那家不远的时候，百夫长就派朋友们到他那里，对他说，主，不要麻烦你自己；因你到我屋檐下，我不配；
耶稣就和他们同去。离那家不远，百夫长托几个朋友去见耶稣，对他说：“主啊！不要劳动；因你到我舍下，我不敢当。
Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof:

我也自以为不配去见你，只要说一句话，我的仆人就必得医治了。
所以我想我也不配到你那里；只要说一句话，我的仆人就会被医治。
我也自以为不配去见你，只要你说一句话，我的仆人就必好了。
Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed.

因为我在人的权下，也有兵在我以下，我对一个说，去，他就去；对另一个说，来，他就来；对我的仆人说，作这事，他就去作。
因我也在一个人的权柄下，有士兵们在我以下，我对一个说，去，他就去；又对另一个说，来，他就来；然后对我的仆人说，做这事，他就去做。
因为我在人的权下，也有兵在我以下，对这个说：‘去！’他就去；对那个说：‘来！’他就来；对我的仆人说：‘你做这事！’他就去做。”
For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

当耶稣听见这些事，就感到吃惊，转身对跟随他的众人说，我对你们说，这么大的信心，就是在以色列中，我也没有遇见过。
当耶稣听见这些事情，他就对他感到奇怪，并转身对跟随他的人民说，我对你们说，我没有找到这么大的信心，没有，连在以色列里都没有。
耶稣听见这话，就希奇他，转身对跟随的众人说：“我告诉你们，这么大的信心，就是在以色列中，我也没有遇见过。”
When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

那被差来的人回到家里，看见病了的那仆人已经好了。
那被派来的人们返回家里，发现那个生病的仆人痊愈了。

And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick.

次日，他往一座名叫拿因的城去，他的许多门徒和极多的人与他同行。
次日这样发生了，他进了一座被叫作拿因的城；并且他的许多门徒和极多的人民与他一起去。
过了不多时（有古卷：次日），耶稣往一座城去，这城名叫拿因，他的门徒和极多的人与他同行。
And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.

将近城门，看啊，有一个死人被抬出来。这人是他母亲唯一的儿子；这女人是一个寡妇。有城里的许多人和她在一起。
当他靠近城的大门时，看啊，有一个死人被抬出来，这人是他母亲唯一的儿子，她是一个寡妇；有城里的许多人民和她在一起。
将近城门，有一个死人被抬出来。这人是他母亲独生的儿子；他母亲又是寡妇。有城里的许多人同着寡妇送殡。
Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.

当主看见她，就同情她，对她说，不要哭。
当主看见她，他就对她有同情，并对她说，不要哭泣。
主看见那寡妇，就怜悯她，对她说：“不要哭！”
And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.

于是过来摸棺材，抬的人就站住了。他说，少年人，我对你说，起来。
他就过来碰了棺材；然后抬的人站住了。他就说，年轻人，我对你说，起来。
于是进前按着杠，抬的人就站住了。耶稣说：“少年人，我吩咐你，起来！”
And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.

那死人就坐起，开始说话。他便把他交给他母亲。

And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.

有个畏惧临到所有人；他们就荣耀神，说，有一个伟大的先知在我们中间兴起来了。又说，神眷顾了他的百姓。
然后有个畏惧临到了所有人；他们就荣耀神，说，有一个伟大的预言者在我们当中兴起了；又说，神造访了他的人民。
众人都惊奇，归荣耀与　神，说：“有大先知在我们中间兴起来了！”又说：“神眷顾了他的百姓！”
And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.

这事的风声就传遍了犹太和周围地方。

And this rumour of him went forth throughout all Judaea, and throughout all the region round about.

And the disciples of John shewed him of all these things.

约翰便叫了两个门徒来，差他们到耶稣那里去，说，那将要来的是你吗？还是我们等候别人呢？

他便叫了两个门徒来，打发他们到主那里去，说：“那将要来的是你吗？还是我们等候别人呢？”
And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?

那两个人来到耶稣那里，说，施浸的约翰差我们来，对你说，那将要来的是你吗？还是我们等候别人呢？
当那两个人来到他那里时，他们说，施浸者约翰派我们到你这里，说，你是那要来的人吗？或者我们要寻找别人？
那两个人来到耶稣那里，说：“施洗的约翰打发我们来问你：‘那将要来的是你吗？还是我们等候别人呢？’”
When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?

正当那时候，耶稣治好了许多有疾病的，受灾祸的，被邪灵附着的，叫许多瞎子能看见。
就在那个小时，他治好了他们许多人的虚弱和灾病，和被众坏灵附着的；他还给许多瞎子视力。
正当那时候，耶稣治好了许多有疾病的，受灾患的，被恶鬼附着的，又开恩叫好些瞎子能看见。
And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight.

耶稣回答他们说，你们去，把所看见、所听见的事告诉约翰，就是瞎子看见，瘸子行走，长大麻风的被洁净，聋子听见，死人复活，贫穷人有福音传给他们。
于是耶稣回答他们说，你们去，把你们看见和听见的事情都告诉约翰；就是瞎子怎么看见，瘸子行走，麻风病人被洁净，聋子听见，死人复活，福音被传讲给贫穷人。
耶稣回答说：“你们去，把所看见所听见的事告诉约翰，就是瞎子看见，瘸子行走，长大麻风的洁净，聋子听见，死人复活，穷人有福音传给他们。
Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.

凡不因我跌倒的，就有福了。
无论谁不因我被冒犯，他就是有福的。
凡不因我跌倒的，就有福了！”
And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

当约翰所差来的使者离开了，他就对众人讲论约翰说，你们从前出去到旷野，是要看什么呢？要看风吹动的芦苇吗？
当约翰的使者离开了，他就开始对人民讲关于约翰的事，你们出到荒野是要看什么？一根被风吹动的芦苇吗？
约翰所差来的人既走了，耶稣就对众人讲论约翰说：“你们从前出去到旷野，是要看什么呢？要看风吹动的芦苇吗？
And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind?

你们出去，到底是要看什么？要看穿细软衣服的人吗？看啊，那穿华丽衣服、宴乐度日的人正在王宫里。
但你们出去是要看什么？一个穿细软衣裳的人吗？看啊，那穿华丽服装并生活精细的人是在王宫里。
你们出去，到底是要看什么？要看穿细软衣服的人吗？那穿华丽衣服、宴乐度日的人是在王宫里。
But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they which are gorgeously apparelled, and live delicately, are in kings' courts.

你们出去，究竟是要看什么？一个先知吗？我对你们说，是的，他比先知大多了。
但你们出去是要看什么？一个预言者吗？是的，我对你们说，比一个预言多得多。
你们出去，究竟是要看什么？要看先知吗？我告诉你们，是的，他比先知大多了。
But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet.

经上记着：看啊，我要差我的使者在你面前为你预备道路。所说的就是这个人。
那被写道的人，就是他，看啊，我派我的使者在你面前，他会在你的脸前预备你的道路。
经上记着说：‘我要差遣我的使者在你前面预备道路’，所说的就是这个人。
This is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

所以我对你们说，凡女人所生的，没有一个先知大过施浸约翰的；然而神的国里最小的比他还大。
因我对你们说，在女人生产的人当中，没有一个预言者伟大过施浸者约翰的；但神的王国里最小的人比他还大。
我告诉你们，凡妇人所生的，没有一个大过约翰的；然而　神国里最小的比他还大。”
For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.

众百姓和税吏既受过约翰的浸礼，听见他的话，就以神为义；
然后听见他的所有人民和收税官，受了约翰的浸礼的，都以神为义。
众百姓和税吏既受过约翰的洗，听见这话，就以　神为义；
And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.

但法利赛人和律法师没有受约翰的浸，竟拒绝神对他们的旨意。
但众法利赛人和众律师没有受他的浸礼，就针对他们自己拒绝了神的建议。
但法利赛人和律法师没有受过约翰的洗，竟为自己废弃了　神的旨意。（29、30两节或译“众百姓和税吏听见了约翰的话，就受了他的洗，便以　神为义；但法利赛人和律法师不受约翰的洗，竟为自己废弃了　神的旨意”）。
But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him.
31
主说，这样，我能用什么比这世代的人呢？他们好像什么呢？
主说，我要用什么来比喻这世代的众人？他们好像什么？
主又说：“这样，我可用什么比这世代的人呢？他们好像什么呢？
And the Lord said, Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like?

好像孩子坐在街市上，彼此呼叫说，我们向你们吹笛，你们不跳舞；我们向你们哀恸，你们不哭泣。
他们就好像孩子们坐在市场里，彼此呼叫，说，我们向你们吹笛，你们不跳舞；我们向你们哀悼，你们不哭泣。
好像孩童坐在街市上，彼此呼叫说：‘我们向你们吹笛，你们不跳舞；我们向你们举哀，你们不啼哭。’
They are like unto children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept.

施浸的约翰来，不吃饼，不喝酒，你们说他是被魔鬼附着的。
因施浸者约翰来了，不吃饼也不喝酒；你们就说，他被魔鬼附了。
施洗的约翰来，不吃饼，不喝酒，你们说他是被鬼附着的。
For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil.

人子来，也吃也喝，你们说，看啊，他是贪食好酒的人，是税吏和罪人的朋友。
人的儿子来，也吃也喝；你们又说，看啊，一个贪吃的人，一个酒鬼，一个收税官和罪人的朋友！
人子来，也吃也喝，你们说他是贪食好酒的人，是税吏和罪人的朋友。
The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!

但智慧因她的儿女而显为是。
但智慧被她所有的孩子们称义。
但智慧之子都以智慧为是。”
But wisdom is justified of all her children.
36
有一个法利赛人请耶稣与他吃饭；他就到法利赛人家里去坐席。
有一个法利赛人想要耶稣与他一起吃饭。他就进到法利赛人的家，坐下进食。
有一个法利赛人请耶稣和他吃饭；耶稣就到法利赛人家里去坐席。
And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat.

看啊，那城里有一个女人，是个罪人，知道耶稣在法利赛人家里坐席，就拿着盛香膏的玉盒，
看啊，那城里有一个女人，是个罪人，当她知道耶稣在那法利赛人家里坐着进食，她就带了一个装着药膏的雪花石盒，
那城里有一个女人，是个罪人，知道耶稣在法利赛人家里坐席，就拿着盛香膏的玉瓶，
And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,

站在耶稣背后，挨着他的脚哭，开始用眼泪洗耶稣的脚，用自己的头发擦，又亲他的脚，并用香膏涂抹。

And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.

请他的法利赛人看见这事，他自己里面就说，这人，如果他是一个先知，必知道摸他的是谁，是个怎样的女人，因她是个罪人。
现在，那请他的法利赛人看见这事，他自己里面就讲，说，这人，如果他是一个预言者，应该知道碰他的是谁，是个什么样子的女人；因她是个罪人。
请耶稣的法利赛人看见这事，心里说：“这人若是先知，必知道摸他的是谁，是个怎样的女人；乃是个罪人。”
Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.

耶稣回答他说，西门，我有一些事要对你说。他说，师傅，请说。
然后耶稣就回答他说，西门，我有事要对你说。他就说，师傅，请说。
耶稣对他说：“西门！我有句话要对你说。”西门说：“夫子，请说。”
And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.

一个债主有两个人欠他的债；一个欠五百银币，一个欠五十银币；
有一个债权人，他有两个债务人；一个欠五百银币，另一个欠五十银币。
耶稣说：“一个债主有两个人欠他的债；一个欠五十两银子，一个欠五两银子；
There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.

当他们无力偿还，他就白白地免了他们两个人的债。因此，告诉我，他们中哪一个更爱他呢？
当他们都没有东西可以偿还时，他就直接原谅了他们两个。因此，告诉我，他们中的哪一个最爱他？
因为他们无力偿还，债主就开恩免了他们两个人的债。这两个人哪一个更爱他呢？”
And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?

西门回答说，我想是那多得免债的人。耶稣对他说，你判断的不错。
西门回答说，我认为是原谅得最多的人。他对他说，你判断的对。
西门回答说：“我想是那多得恩免的人。”耶稣说：“你断的不错。”
Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.

于是他转过来向着那女人，便对西门说，你看见这女人了吗？我进了你的家，你没有给我水洗脚；但这女人用眼泪洗了我的脚，并用她的头发擦干。
然后他就转向那女人，对西门说，你看见这女人了吗？我进了你的家，你没有给我水洗脚；但她用眼泪洗了我的脚，又用她的头发擦。
于是转过来向着那女人，便对西门说：“你看见这女人吗？我进了你的家，你没有给我水洗脚；但这女人用眼泪湿了我的脚，用头发擦干。
And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.

你没有与我亲吻；但这女人从我进来的时候就不住地亲我的脚。
你没有给我亲吻；但这女人从我进来的时候就不停地亲我的脚。
你没有与我亲嘴；但这女人从我进来的时候就不住地用嘴亲我的脚。
Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.
46
你没有用油抹我的头；但这女人用香膏抹我的脚。
你没有用油膏抹我的头；但这女人用药膏膏抹我的脚。
你没有用油抹我的头；但这女人用香膏抹我的脚。
My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.
47
所以我对你说，她许多的罪都被原谅了，因为她爱得多；但那被原谅少的，他爱得就少。
所以我对你说，她许多的罪都被原谅了；因她爱得多；但那被原谅得少的，他爱得就少。
所以我告诉你，她许多的罪都赦免了，因为她的爱多；但那赦免少的，他的爱就少。”
Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.

于是耶稣对她说，你的众罪被原谅了。
然后他就对她说，你的众罪被原谅了。
于是对那女人说：“你的罪赦免了。”
And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.

同席的人他们里面开始说，这是什么人，竟原谅人的罪呢？
与他一起坐着进食的人里面就开始说，这是谁，也能原谅罪？
同席的人心里说：“这是什么人，竟赦免人的罪呢？”
And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?

他对那女人说，你的信心救了你；平安地去吧。
并且他对那女人说，你的信心救了你；和平地去吧。
耶稣对那女人说：“你的信救了你；平平安安回去吧！”
And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.
