1. 1

   第三天，以斯帖穿上皇服，进王家的内院，对王的家站立。王在皇家中坐在宝座上，对着房门。

   这样发生了，第三天以斯帖穿上她的皇家服装，在王家的内院里，对着王的家站立；王在皇家里坐在王座上，对着房的大门。

   第三日，以斯帖穿上朝服，进王宫的内院，对殿站立。王在殿里坐在宝座上，对着殿门。

   Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king's house, over against the king's house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the gate of the house.

2. 2

   王见王后以斯帖站在院内，她就在他的眼中蒙了喜爱，王就向她伸出手中的金杖，以斯帖便向前摸杖头。

   就这样，当王看见王后以斯帖站在院里时，她就在他的眼里蒙了喜爱；然后王就向以斯帖伸出他手里的金杖。于是以斯帖向前摸杖头。

   王见王后以斯帖站在院内，就施恩于她，向她伸出手中的金杖；以斯帖便向前摸杖头。

   And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.

3. 3

   王对她说，王后以斯帖啊，你要什么？你求什么？就是国的一半也必给你。

   然后王对她说，王后以斯帖，你想要什么？你的要求是什么？即使王国的一半也会给你。

   王对她说：“王后以斯帖啊，你要什么？你求什么，就是国的一半也必赐给你。”

   Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.

4. 4

   以斯帖回答：王若以为美，就请王带着哈曼今天赴我所预备的宴席。

   以斯帖回答；如果王看为好，就让王今天带着哈曼来赴我为他准备的宴席。

   以斯帖说：“王若以为美，就请王带着哈曼今日赴我所预备的筵席。”

   And Esther answered, If it seem good unto the king, let the king and Haman come this day unto the banquet that I have prepared for him.

   王说，叫哈曼马上照以斯帖的话去行。于是王带着哈曼赴以斯帖所预备的宴席。

   于是王说，让哈曼赶快照以斯帖的话去做。于是王就带着哈曼来赴以斯帖准备的宴席。

   王说：“叫哈曼速速照以斯帖的话去行。”于是王带着哈曼赴以斯帖所预备的筵席。

   Then the king said, Cause Haman to make haste, that he may do as Esther hath said. So the king and Haman came to the banquet that Esther had prepared.

6. 6

   在酒席宴前，王又问以斯帖说，你要什么，我必应允你。你求什么，就是国的一半也必为你成就。

   在酒宴上，王对以斯帖说，你的诉求是什么？它会为你被准许；你的要求是什么？即使王国的一半它也会被执行。

   在酒席筵前，王又问以斯帖说：“你要什么，我必赐给你；你求什么，就是国的一半也必为你成就。”

   And the king said unto Esther at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? even to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed.

7. 7

   以斯帖回答说，我有所要，我有所求。

   于是以斯帖回答，说，我的诉求和我的要求是；

   以斯帖回答说：“我有所要，我有所求。

   Then answered Esther, and said, My petition and my request is;

8. 8

   我若在王眼中蒙喜爱，王若愿意应允我所要的，准我所求的，就请王带着哈曼再赴我所要预备的宴席。明天我必照王所问的说明。

   如果我在王眼里找到喜爱，如果王喜悦准许我的诉求，并执行我的要求，就让王带着哈曼来赴我准备的宴席，明天我会照王说的做。

   我若在王眼前蒙恩，王若愿意赐我所要的，准我所求的，就请王带着哈曼再赴我所要预备的筵席。明日我必照王所问的说明。”

   If I have found favour in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to grant my petition, and to perform my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I shall prepare for them, and I will do to morrow as the king hath said.

9. 9

   那天哈曼心中快乐，欢欢喜喜地出来，但当哈曼见末底改在王门内不站起来，连身也不动，就满心恼怒末底改。

   于是哈曼心中高兴，并欢喜地出来；但当哈曼见摩迪凯在王的大门里不站起来，连身也不动，就对摩迪凯充满了愤怒。

   那日哈曼心中快乐，欢欢喜喜地出来；但见末底改在朝门不站起来，连身也不动，就满心恼怒末底改。

   Then went Haman forth that day joyful and with a glad heart: but when Haman saw Mordecai in the king's gate, that he stood not up, nor moved for him, he was full of indignation against Mordecai.

10. 10

    哈曼暂时忍耐回家，叫人请他朋友们和他妻子细利斯来。

    然而哈曼克制了他自己；当他回家时，他就叫人请他朋友们和他妻子泽瑞示来。

    哈曼暂且忍耐回家，叫人请他朋友和他妻子细利斯来。

    Nevertheless Haman refrained himself: and when he came home, he sent and called for his friends, and Zeresh his wife.

11. 11

    哈曼将他富厚的荣耀、众多的儿女，和王抬举他使他超乎众首领和众臣仆之上，都述说给他们听。

    然后哈曼把他财物的荣耀，众多的孩子，和王晋升他使他超过众王子和众仆人的事情，都告诉了他们。

    And Haman told them of the glory of his riches, and the multitude of his children, and all the things wherein the king had promoted him, and how he had advanced him above the princes and servants of the king.

12. 12

    此外，哈曼又说，王后以斯帖预备宴席，除了我之外不许别人随王赴席。明天王后又请我随王赴席，

    此外，哈曼又说，是的，王后以斯帖准备宴席，除了我之外没有让别人和王一起来赴宴；并且明天也邀请了我和王一起去她那里。

    哈曼又说：“王后以斯帖预备筵席，除了我之外不许别人随王赴席。明日王后又请我随王赴席；

    Haman said moreover, Yea, Esther the queen did let no man come in with the king unto the banquet that she had prepared but myself; and to morrow am I invited unto her also with the king.

13. 13

    只是我见犹太人末底改坐在王门，虽有这一切荣耀，也与我无益。

    只要我看见犹太人摩迪凯坐在王的大门口，所有这一切，都对我无益。

    只是我见犹大人末底改坐在朝门，虽有这一切荣耀，也与我无益。”

    Yet all this availeth me nothing, so long as I see Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king's gate.

14. 14

    他的妻细利斯和他一切的朋友对他说，不如立一个五十肘高的木架，明天求王将末底改挂在其上，然后你可以欢欢喜喜地随王赴席。哈曼以这话为美，就叫人作了木架。

    那时他的妻子泽瑞示和他所有的朋友对他说，不如造一个五十肘高的木架，你明天求王把摩迪凯挂在其上；然后你就可以欢欢喜喜地和王一起赴宴了。哈曼喜悦这事；他就叫人造了木架。

    他的妻细利斯和他一切的朋友对他说：“不如立一个五丈高的木架，明早求王将末底改挂在其上，然后你可以欢欢喜喜地随王赴席。”哈曼以这话为美，就叫人做了木架。

    Then said Zeresh his wife and all his friends unto him, Let a gallows be made of fifty cubits high, and to morrow speak thou unto the king that Mordecai may be hanged thereon: then go thou in merrily with the king unto the banquet. And the thing pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows to be made.
