此后，押沙龙为自己预备车马，又派五十人在他前头奔走。
此后这样发生了，阿布沙龙为他预备了战车和马匹，又有五十个人在他前面跑。

And it came to pass after this, that Absalom prepared him chariots and horses, and fifty men to run before him.

押沙龙从早起来，站在城门的路旁，凡有争议要去王那里得判断的，押沙龙就叫他过来，问他说，你是哪一城的人？他说，仆人是以色列某支派的人。
阿布沙龙清早起来，站在大门的路边；这样，当任何人有争议为判决要去王那里时，阿布沙龙就叫他过来，说，你属于哪个城？他说，你的仆人是以色列某个支派的人。
押沙龙常常早晨起来，站在城门的道旁，凡有争讼要去求王判断的，押沙龙就叫他过来，问他说：“你是哪一城的人？”回答说：“仆人是以色列某支派的人。”
And Absalom rose up early, and stood beside the way of the gate: and it was so, that when any man that had a controversy came to the king for judgment, then Absalom called unto him, and said, Of what city art thou? And he said, Thy servant is of one of the tribes of Israel.

押沙龙对他说，你的事有情有理，但没人代表王听你伸诉。
阿布沙龙又对他说，看，你的事是好的和正确的；但王没有委派人来听你。
押沙龙对他说：“你的事有情有理，无奈王没有委人听你伸诉。”
And Absalom said unto him, See, thy matters are good and right; but there is no man deputed of the king to hear thee.

押沙龙又说，恨不得我作这地的审判官，凡有诉讼或案件，可以到我这里来，我必给他公正。
此外阿布沙龙又说，哦，要是我来作这土地里的审判者，这样各人有任何诉讼或案件，就可以到我这里来，我会给他公平！
押沙龙又说：“恨不得我作国中的士师！凡有争讼求审判的到我这里来，我必秉公判断。”
Absalom said moreover, Oh that I were made judge in the land, that every man which hath any suit or cause might come unto me, and I would do him justice!

若有人近前来要拜押沙龙，押沙龙就伸手拉住他，亲他。
就是这样，当有任何人靠近他要向他行礼时，他就伸手拉住他，又亲他。

And it was so, that when any man came nigh to him to do him obeisance, he put forth his hand, and took him, and kissed him.

以色列人中，凡去见王求判断的，押沙龙都是如此待他们。这样，押沙龙偷了以色列人的心。
全以色列，为判决要去见王的，阿布沙龙都以这个方式待他们；所以阿布沙龙就偷了以色列众人的心。

And on this manner did Absalom to all Israel that came to the king for judgment: so Absalom stole the hearts of the men of Israel.

满了四十年，押沙龙对王说，求你准我往希伯仑去，还我向耶和华所许的愿。
四十年后这样发生了，阿布沙龙对王说，我请求你，让我去还我在希伯仑里向主发的誓。

And it came to pass after forty years, that Absalom said unto the king, I pray thee, let me go and pay my vow, which I have vowed unto the LORD, in Hebron.

因为仆人住在叙利亚的基述，曾许愿说，耶和华若使我再回耶路撒冷，我必服侍他。
因你的仆人住在叙利亚里的加书耳时，发过一个誓，说，如果主真的再次带我回耶路撒冷，那么我就要服务主。
因为仆人住在亚兰的基述，曾许愿说：‘耶和华若使我再回耶路撒冷，我必侍奉他。’”
For thy servant vowed a vow while I abode at Geshur in Syria, saying, If the LORD shall bring me again indeed to Jerusalem, then I will serve the LORD.

王说，你平平安安地去吧。押沙龙就起身，往希伯仑去了。
王对他说，和平地去吧。于是他就起身，去了希伯仑。
王说：“你平平安安地去吧！”押沙龙就起身，往希伯仑去了。
And the king said unto him, Go in peace. So he arose, and went to Hebron.

押沙龙派探子走遍以色列各支派，说，你们一听见角声就说，押沙龙在希伯仑统治了。
然而阿布沙龙派探子们走遍全以色列各支派，说，你们一听见号的响声，那么你们就说，阿布沙龙在希伯仑里统治了。
押沙龙打发探子走遍以色列各支派，说：“你们一听见角声就说：‘押沙龙在希伯仑作王了！’”
But Absalom sent spies throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, As soon as ye hear the sound of the trumpet, then ye shall say, Absalom reigneth in Hebron.

押沙龙在耶路撒冷召了二百人与他一起去，都是诚诚实实去的，并不知道任何事。
然后阿布沙龙在耶路撒冷召了二百人与他一起去；他们是单纯地跟着他走的，并不知道任何事。

And with Absalom went two hundred men out of Jerusalem, that were called; and they went in their simplicity, and they knew not any thing.

押沙龙献祭的时候，派人去将大卫的谋士、基罗人亚希多弗从他本城请了来。于是叛逆的势派很大，因为随从押沙龙的人民，日渐增多。
当阿布沙龙祭祀牺牲物的时候，就派人去把大卫的议士，基罗人阿希索菲尔从他的本城，就是从基罗请来。这阴谋很强有力；因为和阿布沙龙在一起的人民持续增加。
押沙龙献祭的时候，打发人去将大卫的谋士、基罗人亚希多弗从他本城请了来。于是叛逆的势派甚大；因为随从押沙龙的人民，日渐增多。
And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David's counsellor, from his city, even from Giloh, while he offered sacrifices. And the conspiracy was strong; for the people increased continually with Absalom.

有人报告大卫说，以色列人的心都转向押沙龙了。
有一个使者来到大卫那里，说，以色列众人的心都跟随了阿布沙龙。
有人报告大卫说：“以色列人的心都归向押沙龙了！”
And there came a messenger to David, saying, The hearts of the men of Israel are after Absalom.

大卫就对耶路撒冷跟随他的众仆人说，我们要起来逃走，否则都不能躲避押沙龙了，要马上地离开，恐怕他忽然来到，害我们，用剑杀尽全城的人。
大卫就对耶路撒冷与他一起的众仆人说，起来，让我们逃走吧；否则我们都无法逃脱阿布沙龙；赶快离开，以免他忽然追上我们，把坏事带到我们身上，又用剑刃重击这城。
大卫就对耶路撒冷跟随他的臣仆说：“我们要起来逃走，不然都不能躲避押沙龙了；要速速地去，恐怕他忽然来到，加害于我们，用刀杀尽合城的人。”
And David said unto all his servants that were with him at Jerusalem, Arise, and let us flee; for we shall not else escape from Absalom: make speed to depart, lest he overtake us suddenly, and bring evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword.

王的众仆人对王说，看，我主我王所定的，仆人都愿遵行。
王的众仆人对王说，看啊，我主我王指定的无论什么，你的仆人们都会去做。
王的臣仆对王说：“我主我王所定的，仆人都愿遵行。”
And the king's servants said unto the king, Behold, thy servants are ready to do whatsoever my lord the king shall appoint.

于是王带着全家的人出去了，但留下十个妃子看守家。
于是王就出发了，他的全家人都跟着他，王留下了十个女人，都是妾，来看守家。

And the king went forth, and all his household after him. And the king left ten women, which were concubines, to keep the house.

王出去，众民都跟随他，到了远地，就住下了。
然后王就出发了，所有人民都跟着他，他们在一个较远的地方停留下来。

And the king went forth, and all the people after him, and tarried in a place that was far off.

王的众仆人都在他面前过去。基利提人、比利提人，就是从迦特跟随王来的六百人，也都在他面前过去。
王的所有仆人都从他身边过去了；所有的切瑞人，皮勒斯人，伽斯人，就是从伽斯来跟随他的六百人，都从他面前过去了。

And all his servants passed on beside him; and all the Cherethites, and all the Pelethites, and all the Gittites, six hundred men which came after him from Gath, passed on before the king.

王对迦特人以太说，你是外邦逃来的人，为什么与我们一起去呢？你可以回去与新王同住，或者回你本地去吧。
于是王对伽斯人以太说，为什么跟我们一起走？回你的地方去吧，与王一起留下；因为你是一个外人，也是一个流放者。
王对迦特人以太说：“你是外邦逃来的人，为什么与我们同去呢？你可以回去与新王同住，或者回你本地去吧！
Then said the king to Ittai the Gittite, Wherefore goest thou also with us? return to thy place, and abide with the king: for thou art a stranger, and also an exile.

你昨天才来，我今天怎好叫你与我们一起飘流、没有一定的住处呢？你不如带你的弟兄回去吧。愿怜悯和真理与你同在。
你昨天才来，我今天怎么能让你跟我们起起落落呢？既然我去哪里都可以，你回去吧，带上你的弟兄们；愿怜悯和真理与你在一起。
你来的日子不多，我今日怎好叫你与我们一同飘流、没有一定的住处呢？你不如带你的弟兄回去吧！愿耶和华用慈爱诚实待你。”
Whereas thou camest but yesterday, should I this day make thee go up and down with us? seeing I go whither I may, return thou, and take back thy brethren: mercy and truth be with thee.

以太回答王说，正如耶和华活着，我主我王活着，无论生死，我主我王在哪里，仆人也必在哪里。
以太回答王，说，正如主活着，我主我王也活着，无论死或生，我主我王去什么地方，你的仆人也要去。
以太对王说：“我指着永生的耶和华起誓，又敢在王面前起誓：无论生死，王在哪里，仆人也必在那里。”
And Ittai answered the king, and said, As the LORD liveth, and as my lord the king liveth, surely in what place my lord the king shall be, whether in death or life, even there also will thy servant be.

大卫对以太说，你前去过河吧。于是迦特人以太带着跟随他的人和所有的小孩子，就都过去了。
大卫就对以太说，过去吧。于是伽斯人以太带着跟着他的众人和所有的小孩子，都过去了。
大卫对以太说：“你前去过河吧！”于是迦特人以太带着跟随他的人和所有的妇人孩子，就都过去了。
And David said to Ittai, Go and pass over. And Ittai the Gittite passed over, and all his men, and all the little ones that were with him.

本地的人都放声大哭。众民全都过去，王也过了汲沦溪，往旷野去了。
这地方的所有人都用一个响亮的声音哭泣，所有人民都过去了；王自己也过了基得润溪，并且所有人民都过去了，向荒野的路去。

And all the country wept with a loud voice, and all the people passed over: the king also himself passed over the brook Kidron, and all the people passed over, toward the way of the wilderness.

看啊，撒督和抬神约柜的利未人也一起来了，将神的约柜放下。亚比亚他上来，等着众民从城里出来过去。
瞧，还有扎多克，所有利未人也和他一起，抬着神的契约的躯皿；他们把神的躯皿放下；然后阿比亚撒就上去，直到所有从城里出来的人民都过去了。
撒督和抬 神约柜的利未人也一同来了，将 神的约柜放下。亚比亚他上来，等着众民从城里出来过去。
And lo Zadok also, and all the Levites were with him, bearing the ark of the covenant of God: and they set down the ark of God; and Abiathar went up, until all the people had done passing out of the city.

王对撒督说，你将神的约柜抬回城去。我若在耶和华眼前蒙恩，他必使我回来，再见约柜和他的住所。
王对扎多克说，把神的躯皿抬回去吧；如果我在主眼里找到喜爱，他会再带我回来，并把它和他的居所显给我看；
王对撒督说：“你将 神的约柜抬回城去。我若在耶和华眼前蒙恩，他必使我回来，再见约柜和他的居所。
And the king said unto Zadok, Carry back the ark of God into the city: if I shall find favour in the eyes of the LORD, he will bring me again, and shew me both it, and his habitation:

如果他说，我不喜悦你，看啊，我在这里，愿他照他看为好的待我。
但如果他这样说，我不喜悦你；看啊，我就在这里，他看怎么好就让他怎么对我做吧。
倘若他说：‘我不喜悦你’，看哪，我在这里，愿他凭自己的意旨待我！”
But if he thus say, I have no delight in thee; behold, here am I, let him do to me as seemeth good unto him.

王又对祭司撒督说，你不是先见吗？你可以安然回城，你儿子亚希玛斯和亚比亚他的儿子约拿单都可以与你一起去。
王又对祭司扎多克说，你不是个先见者吗？你和平地返回城里吧，你的两个儿子阿希马茨和阿比亚撒的儿子约拿森都和你一起去。
王又对祭司撒督说：“你不是先见吗？你可以安然回城；你儿子亚希玛斯和亚比亚他的儿子约拿单都可以与你同去。
The king said also unto Zadok the priest, Art not thou a seer? return into the city in peace, and your two sons with you, Ahimaaz thy son, and Jonathan the son of Abiathar.

我在旷野的平原那里等你们报信给我。
看，我会留在荒野的平原里，直到有消息从你们那里来给我确认。
我在旷野的渡口那里等你们报信给我。”
See, I will tarry in the plain of the wilderness, until there come word from you to certify me.
- 29
于是撒督和亚比亚他将神的约柜抬回耶路撒冷，他们就住在那里。
因此扎多克和阿比亚撒把神的躯皿抬回了耶路撒冷；他们就留在那里。

Zadok therefore and Abiathar carried the ark of God again to Jerusalem: and they tarried there.

大卫蒙头赤脚上橄榄山，一面上一面哭。跟随他的人也都蒙头哭着上去，
大卫顺着橄榄园的上坡往上走，一边上一边哭泣，他蒙着头，赤着脚；与他一起的所有人民也都蒙着头，他们也都一边上一边哭泣。

And David went up by the ascent of mount Olivet, and wept as he went up, and had his head covered, and he went barefoot: and all the people that was with him covered every man his head, and they went up, weeping as they went up.

有人告诉大卫说，亚希多弗也在叛党之中，随从押沙龙。大卫祷告说，耶和华啊，求你使亚希多弗的计谋变为愚拙。
有个人告诉大卫说，阿希索菲尔在共谋者当中，和阿布沙龙在一起。大卫说，主啊，我请求你，把阿希索菲尔的建议变为愚蠢。
有人告诉大卫说：“亚希多弗也在叛党之中，随从押沙龙。”大卫祷告说：“耶和华啊，求你使亚希多弗的计谋变为愚拙！”
And one told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O LORD, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.

大卫到了山顶，就是他敬拜神的地方，见亚基人户筛，衣服撕裂，头蒙灰尘来迎接他。
这样发生了，当大卫到了山顶，他在那里敬拜神，看啊，阿基人户晒，外衣撕裂了，头上有土，来迎接他；

And it came to pass, that when David was come to the top of the mount, where he worshipped God, behold, Hushai the Archite came to meet him with his coat rent, and earth upon his head:

大卫对他说，你若与我一起去，必累赘我，
大卫对他说，如果你和我一起走，你会成为我的一个负担；
大卫对他说：“你若与我同去，必累赘我；
Unto whom David said, If thou passest on with me, then thou shalt be a burden unto me:

你若回城去，对押沙龙说，王啊，我愿作你的仆人，我向来作你父亲的仆人，现在我也照样作你的仆人。这样，你就可以为我破坏亚希多弗的计谋。
但如果你返回城去，对阿布沙龙说，王啊，我愿意作你的仆人；我至今一直是你父亲的仆人，现在我也愿意作你的仆人；那么你就可以为我破坏阿希索菲尔的建议。
你若回城去，对押沙龙说：‘王啊，我愿作你的仆人；我向来作你父亲的仆人，现在我也照样作你的仆人。’这样，你就可以为我破坏亚希多弗的计谋。
But if thou return to the city, and say unto Absalom, I will be thy servant, O king; as I have been thy father's servant hitherto, so will I now also be thy servant: then mayest thou for me defeat the counsel of Ahithophel.

祭司撒督和亚比亚他不都在那里吗？你在王的家里听见什么，就要告诉祭司撒督和亚比亚他。
祭司扎多克和阿比亚撒不都和你在一起吗？因此要这样，你在王的家听见什么，你就告诉祭司扎多克和阿比亚撒。
祭司撒督和亚比亚他岂不都在那里吗？你在王宫里听见什么，就要告诉祭司撒督和亚比亚他。
And hast thou not there with thee Zadok and Abiathar the priests? therefore it shall be, that what thing soever thou shalt hear out of the king's house, thou shalt tell it to Zadok and Abiathar the priests.

看啊，撒督的儿子亚希玛斯，亚比亚他的儿子约拿单，也都在那里。凡你们所听见的可以托这二人来报告我。
看啊，他们和他们的两个儿子都在那里，扎多克的儿子阿希马茨，阿比亚撒的儿子约拿森；你们听见的每一件事，你们都要派他们来我这里。
撒督的儿子亚希玛斯，亚比亚他的儿子约拿单，也都在那里。凡你们所听见的可以托这二人来报告我。”
Behold, they have there with them their two sons, Ahimaaz Zadok's son, and Jonathan Abiathar's son; and by them ye shall send unto me every thing that ye can hear.

于是，大卫的朋友户筛进了城，押沙龙也进了耶路撒冷。

So Hushai David's friend came into the city, and Absalom came into Jerusalem.
