扫罗死后，大卫击杀亚玛力人回来，在洗革拉住了两天。
（第二本撒姆尔之书--撒姆尔二）这样发生了，扫尔死后，当大卫屠杀阿马莱克人后回来时，大卫就在兹克拉各里住了两天；

(The Second Book of Samuel) Now it came to pass after the death of Saul, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and David had abode two days in Ziklag;

第三天，见有一人从扫罗的营里出来，衣服撕裂，头蒙灰尘，到大卫面前伏地下拜。
第三天这样发生了，看啊，有一人从扫尔的营里出来，衣服撕裂，头上蒙土；就这样，当他来到大卫那里时，他就伏在这地上，行礼。
第三天，有一人从扫罗的营里出来，衣服撕裂，头蒙灰尘，到大卫面前伏地叩拜。
It came even to pass on the third day, that, behold, a man came out of the camp from Saul with his clothes rent, and earth upon his head: and so it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the earth, and did obeisance.

大卫问他说，你从哪里来？他说，我从以色列的营里逃来。
大卫对他说，你从哪里来？他对他说，我是从以色列的营里逃出来的。
大卫问他说：“你从哪里来？”他说：“我从以色列的营里逃来。”
And David said unto him, From whence comest thou? And he said unto him, Out of the camp of Israel am I escaped.

大卫又问他说，事情怎样？求你告诉我。他回答说，百姓从阵上逃跑，也有许多人仆倒死亡，扫罗和他儿子约拿单也死了。
大卫又对他说，事情怎样了？我请求你，告诉我。他回答说，人民从战场上逃跑，有许多人民仆倒死亡；扫尔和他儿子约拿森也死了。
大卫又问他说：“事情怎样？请你告诉我。”他回答说：“百姓从阵上逃跑，也有许多人仆倒死亡；扫罗和他儿子约拿单也死了。”
And David said unto him, How went the matter? I pray thee, tell me. And he answered, That the people are fled from the battle, and many of the people also are fallen and dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also.

大卫问报信的年轻人说，你怎么知道扫罗和他儿子约拿单死了呢？
大卫对来告诉他的这年轻人说，你怎么知道扫尔和他儿子约拿森死了？
大卫问报信的少年人说：“你怎么知道扫罗和他儿子约拿单死了呢？”
And David said unto the young man that told him, How knowest thou that Saul and Jonathan his son be dead?

报信的年轻人说，我偶然到基利波山，看见扫罗伏在自己枪上，有战车、马兵紧紧地追他。
来告诉他的年轻人说，我偶然到了基伯阿山，看啊，扫尔倒在他自己的矛上；瞧，有战车和骑兵紧紧地跟随他。
报信的少年人说：“我偶然到基利波山，看见扫罗伏在自己枪上，有战车、马兵紧紧地追他。
And the young man that told him said, As I happened by chance upon mount Gilboa, behold, Saul leaned upon his spear; and, lo, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him.

他回头看见我，就呼叫我。我说，我在这里。
当他看他后面的时候，他看见了我，就呼叫我。我回答，我在这里。
他回头看见我，就呼叫我。我说：‘我在这里。’
And when he looked behind him, he saw me, and called unto me. And I answered, Here am I.

他问我说，你是什么人？我说，我是亚玛力人。
他对我说，你是谁？我回答他，我是一个阿马莱克人。
他问我说：‘你是什么人？’我说：‘我是亚玛力人。’
And he said unto me, Who art thou? And I answered him, I am an Amalekite.

他说，求你来，将我杀死，因为痛苦抓住我，我的生命尚存。
他又对我说，我请求你，到我身上，杀了我；因为我的生命还完全在我里面，痛苦来到了我身上。
他说：‘请你来，将我杀死；因为痛苦抓住我，我的生命尚存。’
He said unto me again, Stand, I pray thee, upon me, and slay me: for anguish is come upon me, because my life is yet whole in me.

我准知他仆倒必不能活，就去将他杀死，把他头上的冠冕、臂上的镯子拿到我主这里。
所以我就到他身上，杀了他，因为我肯定他倒后活不了了；然后我拿了他头上的冠冕和臂上的镯子，就把它们带到我主这里来了。
我准知他仆倒必不能活，就去将他杀死，把他头上的冠冕、臂上的镯子拿到我主这里。”
So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord.

大卫就撕裂衣服，跟随他的人也是如此，
于是大卫就抓住自己的衣服，撕裂了它们；所有与他一起的人也像这样；

Then David took hold on his clothes, and rent them; and likewise all the men that were with him:

而且悲哀哭号，禁食到晚上，是因扫罗和他儿子约拿单，并耶和华的民以色列家的人，倒在剑下。
他们哀悼，并且哭泣，禁食到晚上，是因扫尔，他儿子约拿森，主的人民，以色列的家；因为他们都倒在了剑下。
而且悲哀哭号，禁食到晚上，是因扫罗和他儿子约拿单，并耶和华的民以色列家的人，倒在刀下。
And they mourned, and wept, and fasted until even, for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of the LORD, and for the house of Israel; because they were fallen by the sword.

大卫问报信的年轻人说，你是哪里的人？他说，我是一个亚玛力外邦人的儿子。
然后大卫对告诉他的年轻人说，你是哪里的人？他回答，我是一个外人的儿子，一个阿马莱克人。
大卫问报信的少年人说：“你是哪里的人？”他说：“我是亚玛力客人的儿子。”
And David said unto the young man that told him, Whence art thou? And he answered, I am the son of a stranger, an Amalekite.

大卫对他说，你伸手杀害耶和华的受膏者，怎么不畏惧呢？
大卫对他说，你伸手灭掉了主的受膏抹者，怎么不害怕呢？
大卫说：“你伸手杀害耶和华的受膏者，怎么不畏惧呢？”
And David said unto him, How wast thou not afraid to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD's anointed?

大卫叫了一个年轻人来，说，你去杀他吧。他就把他杀了。
大卫就叫了一个年轻人来，说，过来，对他下手。于是他猛击他，他就死了。
大卫叫了一个少年人来，说：“你去杀他吧！”
And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, and fall upon him. And he smote him that he died.

大卫对他说，你流人血的罪归到自己的头上，因为你亲口作见证说，我杀了耶和华的受膏者。
大卫对他说，你的血归到你的头上吧；因为你的口指证你，说，我杀了主的受膏抹者。
大卫对他说：“你流人血的罪归到自己的头上，因为你亲口作见证说：‘我杀了耶和华的受膏者。’”少年人就把他杀了。
And David said unto him, Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the LORD's anointed.

大卫作哀歌，哀悼扫罗和他儿子约拿单，
大卫以这首哀歌为扫尔和他儿子约拿森哀痛；
大卫作哀歌，吊扫罗和他儿子约拿单，
And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son:

（并且他命令将这歌教导犹大儿女。这歌名叫弓，这写在雅煞珥书上。）
（他也命令他们把弓的用法教给犹大孩子们；看啊，这被写在了雅实耳书里。）
且吩咐将这歌教导犹大人。这歌名叫“弓歌”，写在雅煞珥书上。
(Also he bade them teach the children of Judah the use of the bow: behold, it is written in the book of Jasher.)

歌中说，以色列的荣耀在山上被杀。大能者何竟仆倒。
以色列的美丽被杀在你的众高处上面；大能者怎么倒下了！
歌中说：以色列啊，你尊荣者在山上被杀！大英雄何竟死亡！
The beauty of Israel is slain upon thy high places: how are the mighty fallen!

不要在迦特报告，不要在亚实基伦街上传扬，免得非利士的女儿们欢乐，免得未受割礼之人的女儿们得意。
不要在伽斯里说，不要在阿实克伦街上公布；以免菲利士的女儿们喜乐，以免未被割之人的女儿们获胜。
不要在迦特报告；不要在亚实基伦街上传扬；免得非利士的女子欢乐；免得未受割礼之人的女子矜夸。
Tell it not in Gath, publish it not in the streets of Askelon; lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph.

基利波山哪，愿你那里没有雨露。愿你田地无土产可作奉献。因为大能者的盾牌在那里被污丢弃，扫罗的盾牌仿佛从没抹油。
你们基伯阿群山，不让有露水，也不让有雨水在你们身上，田地也没有祭品；因为大能者的盾牌在那里被可耻地丢弃，扫尔的盾牌，他仿佛从未被油膏抹过。
基利波山哪，愿你那里没有雨露！愿你田地无土产可作供物！因为英雄的盾牌在那里被污丢弃；扫罗的盾牌仿佛未曾抹油。
Ye mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew, neither let there be rain, upon you, nor fields of offerings: for there the shield of the mighty is vilely cast away, the shield of Saul, as though he had not been anointed with oil.

约拿单的弓箭不流敌人的血不退缩，扫罗的刀剑不剖勇士的油不收回。
不见被杀者的血，大能者的脂油，约拿森的弓就不收回，扫尔的剑也不空空返回。
约拿单的弓箭非流敌人的血不退缩；扫罗的刀剑非剖勇士的油不收回。
From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan turned not back, and the sword of Saul returned not empty.

扫罗和约拿单，活时相悦相爱，死时也不分离，他们比鹰更快，比狮子还强。
扫尔和约拿森，活时相亲相爱，死时他们也不分离；他们比鹰更快，他们比狮子强壮。

Saul and Jonathan were lovely and pleasant in their lives, and in their death they were not divided: they were swifter than eagles, they were stronger than lions.

以色列的女儿们啊，当为扫罗哭号。他曾使你们穿朱红色的美衣，使你们衣服有黄金的饰品。
你们以色列的女儿们，要为扫尔哭泣，他曾使你们穿上朱红色，带着其他美物，又在你们的服装上放上金饰。
以色列的女子啊，当为扫罗哭号！他曾使你们穿朱红色的美衣，使你们衣服有黄金的妆饰。
Ye daughters of Israel, weep over Saul, who clothed you in scarlet, with other delights, who put on ornaments of gold upon your apparel.

大能者何竟在阵上仆倒。约拿单啊，何竟在山上被杀。
大能者怎么在战场当中仆倒了！约拿森啊，你在你的众高处被杀。
英雄何竟在阵上仆倒！约拿单何竟在山上被杀！
How are the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle! O Jonathan, thou wast slain in thine high places.

我弟兄约拿单，我为你悲伤。我很喜悦你。你对我的爱奇妙，过于女人的爱。
我弟兄约拿森，我为你感到危难；我非常喜悦你；你对我的爱是奇妙的，超过女人的爱。
我兄约拿单哪，我为你悲伤！我甚喜悦你！你向我发的爱情奇妙非常，过于妇女的爱情。
I am distressed for thee, my brother Jonathan: very pleasant hast thou been unto me: thy love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women.

大能者何竟仆倒。争战的武器灭亡了。
大能者怎么倒下了，这争战的武器灭亡了！
英雄何竟仆倒！战具何竟灭没！
How are the mighty fallen, and the weapons of war perished!
