而且弟兄们，我不愿意你们不晓得，我们的父辈从前都在云下，都从海中经过，
此外，弟兄们，我不愿意你们无知，我们所有的父辈怎么在云下，又从海中经过；
弟兄们，我不愿意你们不晓得，我们的祖宗从前都在云下，都从海中经过，
Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

都在云里、海里受浸归了摩西；
都在云里和海里受浸去向摩西；
都在云里、海里受洗归了摩西；
And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
- 3
并且都吃了一样的灵食，
并且都吃了同样的属灵食物；
并且都吃了一样的灵食，
And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
- 4
也都喝了一样的灵水。所喝的，是出于随着他们的灵磐石；那磐石就是基督。
又都喝了同样的属灵饮品；因喝的，是出于那跟随着他们的属灵岩石；那岩石就是受膏者。
也都喝了一样的灵水。所喝的，是出于随着他们的灵磐石；那磐石就是基督。
And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

但他们中间许多是神不喜欢的人，所以在旷野倒毙。
但他们中间许多都是神不太喜欢的人；因他们在荒野里被推倒了。
但他们中间多半是 神不喜欢的人，所以在旷野倒毙。
But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

这些事都是我们的鉴戒，叫我们不要贪恋恶事，像他们那样贪恋的；
现在，这些事都是我们的例子，为要让我们不要贪求坏事，就像他们也贪求的。
这些事都是我们的鉴戒，叫我们不要贪恋恶事，像他们那样贪恋的；
Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

也不要拜偶像，像他们有人拜的。如经上所记：百姓坐下吃喝，起来玩耍。
你们也不要作拜偶像者，就像他们有些人那样；人民坐下吃喝，又起来玩耍。
也不要拜偶像，像他们有人拜的。如经上所记：“百姓坐下吃喝，起来玩耍。”
Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

我们也不要犯奸淫，像他们有些人犯的，一天就倒毙了二万三千人；
让我们也不要犯苟合，正如他们有些人犯的，一天里就倒下了二万三千人。
我们也不要行奸淫，像他们有人行的，一天就倒毙了二万三千人；
Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

我们也不要试探基督，像他们有人试探的，就被蛇所灭。
让我们也不要试探受膏者，正如他们有些人试探的，就被蛇毁灭了。
也不要试探主（有古卷：基督），像他们有人试探的，就被蛇所灭。
Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

你们也不要发怨言，像他们有发怨言的，就被灭命的所灭。
你们也不要发牢骚，正如他们有些人也发牢骚，就被毁灭者毁灭了。
你们也不要发怨言，像他们有发怨言的，就被灭命的所灭。
Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.

他们遭遇这一切事，都要作为鉴戒；并且写在经上，正是警告我们这末世的人。
现在，所有这些事情发生在他们身上都是为了示例；并且它们被写下，是为了警告我们这些在世界的各尽头要来的人。

Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

所以，自己以为站得稳的，须要谨慎，免得跌倒。

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

你们所遇见的试探，无非是人所能受的。但神是信实的，必不叫你们受试探过于所能受的；在受试探的时候，总要给你们开一条出路逃脱，叫你们能忍受得住。
没有试探能抓住你们，只是些对人来说共有的试探；但神是守信的，他不会容许你们被试探超过你们的能力；而是会在试探的时候，也给你们造一条路逃脱，使你们可以有能力承担它。
你们所遇见的试探，无非是人所能受的。 神是信实的，必不叫你们受试探过于所能受的；在受试探的时候，总要给你们开一条出路，叫你们能忍受得住。
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

因此，我所亲爱的弟兄啊，要逃避偶像崇拜。
所以，我亲爱的，要逃离偶像崇拜。
我所亲爱的弟兄啊，你们要逃避拜偶像的事。
Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

我好像对智慧人说话，你们要判断我说的。
我就像在对智慧人说话；你们要判断我说的。
我好像对明白人说的，你们要审察我的话。
I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say.

我们所祝福的福杯，难道不是与基督的血相交吗？我们所掰开的饼，难道不是与基督的身体相交吗？
我们祝福的杯，难道不是与受膏者之血的交流？我们掰开的饼，难道不是与受膏者之身体的交流？
我们所祝福的杯，岂不是同领基督的血吗？我们所擘开的饼，岂不是同领基督的身体吗？
The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

我们虽多，仍是一个饼，一个身体，因为我们都有分于这一个饼。
因我们虽有很多，还是一个饼，和一个身体；因我们所有人都是这一个饼的参与者。
我们虽多，仍是一个饼，一个身体，因为我们都是分受这一个饼。
For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

你们看那肉身的以色列，那吃祭物的难道不是在祭坛上有分吗？
看那肉身的以色列；难道那些吃牺牲物的人不是坛的参与者？
你们看属肉体的以色列人，那吃祭物的岂不是在祭坛上有份吗？
Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?

我说的是什么？难道偶像算什么吗？或祭偶像之物算什么？
那么我说的是什么？难道偶像算什么？或祭祀给偶像的牺牲物里的东西算什么？
我是怎么说呢？岂是说祭偶像之物算得什么呢？或说偶像算得什么呢？
What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?

但我是说，外邦人所献的祭是祭魔鬼，不是祭神。我不愿意你们与魔鬼团契。
但我是说，外邦人祭祀的，是祭祀给众魔鬼，不是给神；我不愿意你们与众魔鬼团契。
我乃是说，外邦人所献的祭是祭鬼，不是祭 神。我不愿意你们与鬼相交。
But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

你们不能喝主的杯又喝魔鬼的杯，不能有分于主的宴席又有分于魔鬼的宴席。
你们不能喝主的杯又喝众魔鬼的杯；你们不能作主宴席的参与者，又作众魔鬼宴席的参与者。
你们不能喝主的杯又喝鬼的杯，不能吃主的筵席又吃鬼的筵席。
Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

我们能惹动主的嫉妒吗？我们比他还刚强吗？
我们要惹动主的嫉妒？我们比他还强壮？
我们可惹主的愤恨吗？我们比他还有能力吗？
Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?
- 23
凡事我都可行，但不都有益处。凡事我都可行，但不都造就人。
所有事情对于我都合法，但所有事情不都可取；所有事情对于我都合法，但所有事情不都启发人。
凡事都可行，但不都有益处。凡事都可行，但不都造就人。
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

无论何人，不要求自己的益处，而要求别人的益处。
让人不要寻找他自己的，而是每个人都寻找别人的财富。
无论何人，不要求自己的益处，乃要求别人的益处。
Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.
- 25
凡市上所卖的，你们只管吃，不要为良心的缘故问什么话，
无论肉摊上卖的什么，只管吃，不要为良心的缘故问什么问题；
凡市上所卖的，你们只管吃，不要为良心的缘故问什么话，
Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake:

因为地和其中所充满的都是主的。
因这地和其中的丰满都是主的。
因为地和其中所充满的都属乎主。
For the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof.

若有一个不信的人请你们赴席，你们若愿意去，凡摆在你们面前的，只管吃，不要为良心的缘故问什么话。
如果有任何不信的人请你们去一个宴席，并且你们愿意要去；无论摆在你们面前的是什么，只管吃，不要为良心的缘故问什么问题。
倘有一个不信的人请你们赴席，你们若愿意去，凡摆在你们面前的，只管吃，不要为良心的缘故问什么话。
If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake.

若有人对你们说，这是向偶像献过祭的物。就要为那告诉你们的人，并为良心的缘故，不吃。（因为地和其中所充满的，都是主的。）
但是如果有任何人对你们说，这是祭祀给偶像的牺牲物里的，就要为把这事告诉你们的人的缘故，又为良心的缘故，不吃；因这地和其中的丰满，都是主的；
若有人对你们说：“这是献过祭的物”，就要为那告诉你们的人，并为良心的缘故不吃。
But if any man say unto you, this is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof:

我说的良心不是你自己的，而是他人的。我这自由为什么被别人的良心论断呢？
我说的良心不是你自己的，而是其他人的；我的自由为什么要被其他人的良心判断？
我说的良心不是你的，乃是他的。我这自由为什么被别人的良心论断呢？
Conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another man's conscience?

我若谢恩而吃，为什么因我谢恩的物被人诽谤呢？
因如果我借着恩典作了一个参与者，为什么因我给了感谢的而被人说坏话？
我若谢恩而吃，为什么因我谢恩的物被人毁谤呢？
For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?

所以，你们或吃或喝，无论作什么，都要为荣耀神而行。
因此，你们或吃或喝，或无论你们做什么，都要为神的荣耀而做。
所以，你们或吃或喝，无论做什么，都要为荣耀 神而行。
Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

不管是犹太人，是外邦人，是神的教会，你们都不要使他跌倒。
不管是对犹太人，是对外邦人，是对神的集会，你们都不要冒犯；
不拘是犹太人，是希腊人，是 神的教会，你们都不要使他跌倒；
Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:

就好像我凡事都叫众人喜欢，不求自己的益处，只求众人的益处，叫他们得救。
就好像我在所有事上使所有人喜悦，不是为了寻求自己的益处，而是为了许多人的益处，使他们可以被拯救。
就好像我凡事都叫众人喜欢，不求自己的益处，只求众人的益处，叫他们得救。
Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.
