波阿斯到了城门，坐在那里，看啊，波阿斯所说的那男亲戚经过；波阿斯说，某人哪，你来坐在这里。他就来坐下。
于是伯阿兹上去到大门那里，他就在那里坐下；看啊，伯阿兹讲的那个男亲戚经过；他说，嗨，某人！转到旁边，坐这。他就转到旁边，坐下。
波阿斯到了城门，坐在那里，恰巧波阿斯所说的那至近的亲属经过。波阿斯说：“某人哪，你来坐在这里。”他就来坐下。
Then went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the kinsman of whom Boaz spake came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down.

波阿斯又从本城的长老中拣选了十人，对他们说，请你们坐在这里。他们就都坐下。
他又找了本城众长者中的十个人，说，你们坐在这里。他们就坐下。
波阿斯又从本城的长老中拣选了十人，对他们说：“请你们坐在这里。”他们就都坐下。
And he took ten men of the elders of the city, and said, Sit ye down here. And they sat down.

波阿斯对那男亲戚说，从摩押地回来的拿俄米，现在要卖我们的弟兄以利米勒的那块地；
他对那男亲戚说，从摩阿布地区回来的拿奥米，在卖我们的弟兄以利米勒克的那一块土地；
波阿斯对那至近的亲属说：“从摩押地回来的拿俄米，现在要卖我们族兄以利米勒的那块地；
And he said unto the kinsman, Naomi, that is come again out of the country of Moab, selleth a parcel of land, which was our brother Elimelech's:

我想应当赎那块地的是你，其次是我，以外再没有别人了。你可以在这里的人面前和我本国的长老面前说明，你若愿意赎就赎，若不愿意赎就告诉我。那人回答说，我愿意赎。
我想通知你，说，在众居民面前和我人民的众长者面前买它。如果你要赎它就赎它；但是如果你不愿意赎它，那么就告诉我，让我知道；因除了你以外没有人去赎它；我在你之后。然后他说，我要赎它。
我想当赎那块地的是你，其次是我，以外再没有别人了。你可以在这里的人面前和我本国的长老面前说明，你若肯赎就赎，若不肯赎就告诉我。”那人回答说：“我肯赎。”
And I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it, redeem it: but if thou wilt not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know: for there is none to redeem it beside thee; and I am after thee. And he said, I will redeem it.

波阿斯说，你从拿俄米手中买这地的时候，也应当买死人的妻摩押女子路得，使死人在产业上兴起他的名。
于是伯阿兹说，你从拿奥米手中买这田地的那天，你也必须向死者的妻子摩阿布女人如斯买它，使死者的名能在他的产业上兴起。
波阿斯说：“你从拿俄米手中买这地的时候，也当娶（原文是买；十节同）死人的妻摩押女子路得，使死人在产业上存留他的名。”
Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance.

那男亲戚说，这样我就不能赎了，恐怕于我的产业有损。你可以赎我所要赎的，因我不能赎它。
然后那男亲戚说，我就不能为自己赎它了，以免损害我自己的产业；你去赎我有权赎的归你自己吧；因我不能赎它。
那人说：“这样我就不能赎了，恐怕于我的产业有碍。你可以赎我所当赎的，我不能赎了。”
And the kinsman said, I cannot redeem it for myself, lest I mar mine own inheritance: redeem thou my right to thyself; for I cannot redeem it.

从前，在以色列中要定夺什么事，或赎回，或交易，这人就脱鞋给他的邻居；在以色列中这是一个见证。
这是在以色列里从前要确认什么事的方式，或赎回，或交易；一个人要脱下他的鞋，把它给他的邻居；在以色列里这是一个见证。
从前，在以色列中要定夺什么事，或赎回，或交易，这人就脱鞋给那人。以色列人都以此为证据。
Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbour: and this was a testimony in Israel.

因此那男亲戚对波阿斯说，你自己买吧。所以他将他的鞋脱下来。
因此那男亲戚对伯阿兹说，买它归你吧。于是他就把他的鞋脱下来。
那人对波阿斯说：“你自己买吧！”于是将鞋脱下来了。
Therefore the kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy it for thee. So he drew off his shoe.

并且波阿斯对长老和众民说，你们今天作见证，凡属以利米勒和基连、玛伦的，我都从拿俄米手中买了
伯阿兹对众长者和所有的人民说，你们今天是见证人，所有以利米勒克的，所有切尔连的，还有马伦的，我都从拿奥米手中买了。
波阿斯对长老和众民说：“你们今日作见证，凡属以利米勒和基连、玛伦的，我都从拿俄米手中置买了；
And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech's, and all that was Chilion's and Mahlon's, of the hand of Naomi.

又买了玛伦的妻摩押女子路得为妻，好在死人的产业上兴起他的名，免得他的名在本族本乡灭没。你们今天坐在城门这里的人可以作见证。
此外又买了马伦的妻子摩阿布女人如斯作我的妻子，为要在死者的产业上兴起他的名，这样死者的名就不会从他弟兄中，又从他本地的大门被剪除；今天你们是见证人。
又娶了玛伦的妻摩押女子路得为妻，好在死人的产业上存留他的名，免得他的名在本族本乡灭没。你们今日可以作见证。”
Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye are witnesses this day.

在城门坐着的众民和长老都说，我们作见证。愿耶和华使进你家的这女子，像建立以色列家的拉结、利亚二人一样。又愿你在以法他得亨通，在伯利恒得名声。
在大门里的所有人民和众长者，说，我们是见证人。主使进你家的这女人，像建立以色列家的瑞秋尔和利亚二人一样；又愿你在以弗瑞他里做配得的事，在贝斯勒罕里成为有名声的；
在城门坐着的众民和长老都说：“我们作见证。愿耶和华使进你家的这女子，像建立以色列家的拉结、利亚二人一样。又愿你在以法他得亨通，在伯利恒得名声。
And all the people that were in the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The LORD make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Bethlehem:

愿耶和华从这年轻女子给你种子，使你的家像她玛从犹大所生法勒斯的家一般。
主会从这年轻女人给你种子，让你的家类似她玛给犹大生的法瑞兹的家。
愿耶和华从这少年女子赐你后裔，使你的家像他玛从犹大所生法勒斯的家一般。”
And let thy house be like the house of Pharez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah, of the seed which the LORD shall give thee of this young woman.

于是，波阿斯娶了路得为妻，他进到她那里，耶和华就给她怀孕，她就生了一个儿子。
所以伯阿兹娶了如斯，她就成了他的妻子；他进到她那里时，主就给她怀孕，她就生了一个儿子。
于是，波阿斯娶了路得为妻，与她同房。耶和华使她怀孕生了一个儿子。
So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son.

女人们对拿俄米说，耶和华是应当称颂的，就是那今天没有撇下你无一个男亲戚的，愿他的名在以色列中得名声。
众女人对拿奥米说，蒙福的主今天没有留下你无一个男亲戚，使他的名可以在以色列里成为有名声的。
妇人们对拿俄米说：“耶和华是应当称颂的！因为今日没有撇下你，使你无至近的亲属。愿这孩子在以色列中得名声。
And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the LORD, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel.

他必恢复你的生命，养你的老，因为是爱你的那儿媳所生的。有这儿媳所生的儿子比有七个儿子还好！
他会是你生命的一个的恢复者，又是你老年的养育者；因为那爱你的，比七个儿子都好的儿媳妇，生了他。
他必提起你的精神，奉养你的老，因为是爱慕你的那儿妇所生的。有这儿妇比有七个儿子还好！”
And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him.

拿俄米就把孩子抱在怀中，作他的养母。
拿奥米就把孩子抱在怀里，成为了他的奶妈。
拿俄米就把孩子抱在怀中，作他的养母。
And Naomi took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it.

邻居的女人说，拿俄米得儿子了！就给孩子起名叫俄备得。这俄备得是耶西的父，耶西是大卫的父。
众女人，就是她的邻居们，说，有一个儿子生给拿奥米了，他们就给了它一个名；然后他们就叫他的名为奥贝得；他是耶西的父亲，耶西是大卫的父亲。
邻舍的妇人说：“拿俄米得孩子了！”就给孩子起名叫俄备得。这俄备得是耶西的父，耶西是大卫的父。
And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he is the father of Jesse, the father of David.

法勒斯的家谱记在下面：法勒斯生希斯仑；
这些是法瑞兹的世世代代；法瑞兹生育了海兹润，
法勒斯的后代记在下面：法勒斯生希斯仑；
Now these are the generations of Pharez: Pharez begat Hezron,

希斯仑生兰；兰生亚米拿达；
海兹润生育了冉，冉生育了阿米拿达布，
希斯仑生兰；兰生亚米拿达；
And Hezron begat Ram, and Ram begat Amminadab,
20
亚米拿达生拿顺；拿顺生撒门；
阿米拿达布生育了拿顺，拿顺生育了撒门，
亚米拿达生拿顺；拿顺生撒门；
And Amminadab begat Nahshon, and Nahshon begat Salmon,
21
撒门生波阿斯；波阿斯生俄备得；
撒门生育了伯阿兹，伯阿兹生育了奥贝得，
撒门生波阿斯；波阿斯生俄备得；
And Salmon begat Boaz, and Boaz begat Obed,
22
俄备得生耶西；耶西生大卫。
奥贝得生育了耶西，耶西生育了大卫。
俄备得生耶西；耶西生大卫。
And Obed begat Jesse, and Jesse begat David.
