   （上行之诗。）以色列当说，从我幼年以来，他们屡次苦害我，

   （一首上行的歌。）从我青年以来，他们多次苦待我，以色列现在可以说；

   以色列当说：“从我幼年以来，敌人屡次苦害我，

   (A Song of degrees.) Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say:

   从我幼年以来，他们屡次苦害我，却没有胜了我。

   从我青年以来，他们多次苦待我；而他们仍然没有胜过我。

   从我幼年以来，敌人屡次苦害我，却没有胜了我。

   Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me.

   如同扶犁的在我背上扶犁而耕，耕的犁沟甚长。

   耕地者在我的背上耕；他们耕的犁沟很长。

   如同扶犁的在我背上扶犁而耕，耕的犁沟甚长。”

   The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows.

   耶和华是公义的；他砍断了恶人的绳索。

   主是正义的；他砍断了恶者的众绳索。

   耶和华是公义的；他砍断了恶人的绳索。

   The LORD is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.

5. 5

   愿恨恶锡安的都蒙羞退后。

   让恨锡安的所有人都被羞耻并退后。

   愿恨恶锡安的都蒙羞退后！

   Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.

6. 6

   愿他们像房顶上的草，未长成而枯干，

   让他们像房顶上的草，就是还没长起来就枯干的；

   愿他们像房顶上的草，未长成而枯干，

   Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up:

   收割的不够一把，捆禾的也不满怀。

   收割者收不满一把；捆禾者也捆不满一抱。

   收割的不够一把，捆禾的也不满怀。

   Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom.

8. 8

   过路的也不说，愿耶和华的祝福归于你们；我们在耶和华的名里祝福你们。

   过路的人们也不说，主的祝福在你们身上；我们在主的名里祝福你们。

   过路的也不说：“愿耶和华所赐的福归与你们！我们奉耶和华的名给你们祝福！”

   Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the LORD be upon you: we bless you in the name of the LORD.
