   （上行之诗。）那住在诸天上的啊，我向你举目。

   （一首上行的歌。）你这住在众天上的啊，我向你抬起我的眼睛。

   坐在天上的主啊，我向你举目。

   (A Song of degrees.) Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.

   看啊，众仆人的眼睛怎样仰望他们主人们的手，使女的眼睛怎样仰望她的女主人的手，我们的眼睛也照样仰望耶和华我们的神，直到他怜悯我们。

   看啊，众仆人的眼睛怎样看向他们的主人们的手，一个侍女的眼睛怎样看向她的女主人的手；我们的眼睛也就照样侍候主我们的神，直到他怜悯我们。

   看哪，仆人的眼睛怎样望主人的手，使女的眼睛怎样望主母的手，我们的眼睛也照样望耶和华我们的　神，直到他怜悯我们。

   Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

   耶和华啊，怜悯我们，怜悯我们。因为我们被藐视，已到极处。

   主啊，怜悯我们，怜悯我们；因我们极度地被蔑视充满。

   耶和华啊，求你怜悯我们，怜悯我们！因为我们被藐视，已到极处。

   Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.

   我们的魂被那些安逸人的讥诮和骄傲人的藐视所充满，已到极处。

   我们的魂极度地被那些安逸者的鄙视，和骄傲者的蔑视充满了。

   我们被那些安逸人的讥诮和骄傲人的藐视，已到极处。

   Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.
