恶人虽无人追赶也逃跑；义人却胆壮像狮子。
无人追赶的时候恶者逃跑；但正义者就像一只狮子一样大胆。

The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.

邦国因有罪过，王子就多更换；因有聪明知识的人，国必长存。
因一块土地的违犯，其中的王子就很多；但借着一个有悟性和知识的人，政体就会被延长。
邦国因有罪过，君王就多更换；因有聪明知识的人，国必长存。
For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged.

穷人欺压贫民，好像暴雨冲没粮食。
一个欺压贫穷者的贫穷人，就好像一场扫荡的雨没有留下吃的。

A poor man that oppresseth the poor is like a sweeping rain which leaveth no food.

离弃律法的，夸奖恶人；遵守律法的，却与他们相争。
那些离弃法律的人，他们赞美恶者；但持守法律的人，与他们争辩。
违弃律法的，夸奖恶人；遵守律法的，却与恶人相争。
They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.

坏人不明白公平；唯有寻求耶和华的，明白万事。
坏人不明白判决；但寻求主的人，他们明白所有东西。
坏人不明白公义；惟有寻求耶和华的，无不明白。
Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.

行为正直的穷乏人胜过行事乖僻的富足人。
在他的正直里行走的贫穷者，好过虽然富足却在他道路里歪曲的人。
行为纯正的穷乏人胜过行事乖僻的富足人。
Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.

谨守律法的，是智慧的儿子；与贪食人作伴的，却羞辱他的父亲。
无论谁持守法律，就是一个智慧的儿子；但作一个放肆者的同伴之人，羞愧他的父亲。
谨守律法的，是智慧之子；与贪食人作伴的，却羞辱其父。
Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shameth his father.

人以放债与不义之财加增财物，是给那同情穷人者积蓄的。
借着利息与不公正的收益加增他的实物之人，他会为那愿意同情贫穷者的人聚集。
人以厚利加增财物，是给那怜悯穷人者积蓄的。
He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.

转耳不听律法的，就是他的祷告也为可憎。
转耳不听法律的人，甚至他的祷告都会成为憎恶的。
转耳不听律法的，他的祈祷也为可憎。
He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.

导致义人走迷、行恶道的，必掉在自己的坑里；唯有正直人必承受美事。
无论谁导致正义者在一条坏的道路里走歧途，他自己会掉进他自己的坑里；但正直者的拥有物里会有好事情。
诱惑正直人行恶道的，必掉在自己的坑里；惟有完全人必承受福分。
Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.

富足人自以为有智慧，但聪明的贫穷人能将他查透。
富足的人在自己的自负里有智慧；但有悟性的贫穷者把他鉴察出来。

The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out.

义人欢喜，有大荣耀；但恶人兴起，人就躲藏。
当正义的人喜乐时，有大荣耀；但当恶者兴起时，一个人就隐藏。
义人得志，有大荣耀；恶人兴起，人就躲藏。
When righteous men do rejoice, there is great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden.

遮掩自己罪过的，必不亨通；但承认离弃它们的，必蒙怜悯。
掩盖自己的众罪的人，他不会兴盛；但无论谁承认又离弃它们，就会拥有怜悯。
遮掩自己罪过的，必不亨通；承认离弃罪过的，必蒙怜恤。
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

常存畏惧的那人是快乐的；但他的心刚硬的必陷在祸患里。
常畏惧的那人是快乐的；但使自己的心刚硬的人，他会陷在毒害里。
常存敬畏的，便为有福；心存刚硬的，必陷在祸患里。
Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.

恶人辖制贫民，好像吼叫的狮子、觅食的熊。
一个吼叫的狮子和一个觅食的熊怎样；一个管理贫穷人民的邪恶管理者也怎样。
暴虐的君王辖制贫民，好像吼叫的狮子、觅食的熊。
As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people.

缺乏知识的王子多行欺压；但以贪婪为可恨的，必年长日久。
缺乏悟性的王子也是一个大欺压者；但恨贪婪的人，他会延长他的日子。
无知的君多行暴虐；以贪财为可恨的，必年长日久。
The prince that wanteth understanding is also a great oppressor: but he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.

行强暴流人血的，必往坑里逃跑，谁也不要拦阻他。
一个行暴力去流任何人血的人，他会逃到坑里；不让人收留他。
背负流人血之罪的，必往坑里奔跑，谁也不可拦阻他。
A man that doeth violence to the blood of any person shall flee to the pit; let no man stay him.

行动正直的，必蒙拯救；但行事弯曲的，立时跌倒。
无论谁正直地行走，就会被拯救；但在他道路里歪曲的人，他会马上跌倒。
行动正直的，必蒙拯救；行事弯曲的，立时跌倒。
Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.

耕种自己田地的，必得饱食；但追随虚浮的，足受穷乏。
耕作自己土地的人，他会有丰盛的饼；但追随虚空的人，他会饱受贫穷。

He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.

诚实人必多得福；但想要急速发财的，不免受罚。
一个守信的人会有丰富的祝福；但想要赶快富足的人，他不会是无辜的。

A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.

看人的情面为不善；因为人会因一块饼犯罪。
有对身份的重视是不好的；因那人会为一块饼违犯。
看人的情面乃为不好；人因一块饼枉法也为不好。
To have respect of persons is not good: for for a piece of bread that man will transgress.

人有恶眼想要急速发财，却不知穷乏必临到他。
想要赶快富足的人，他有一只坏眼，没有细想一下贫困会来到他身上。

He that hasteth to be rich hath an evil eye, and considereth not that poverty shall come upon him.

责备人的，后来蒙人喜悦，多于那用舌头谄媚人的。
斥责一个人的人，他后来会比那用舌头奉承的人找到更多的喜爱。

He that rebuketh a man afterwards shall find more favour than he that flattereth with the tongue.

偷窃父母的，说，这不是罪，此人就是与毁灭者同类。
无论谁抢劫他的父亲或他的母亲，并说，这不是违犯；此人就是一个毁灭者的同伴。
偷窃父母的，说：“这不是罪”，此人就是与强盗同类。
Whoso robbeth his father or his mother, and saith, It is no transgression; the same is the companion of a destroyer.

心中骄傲的，挑起争端；但信靠耶和华的，必得丰裕。
有着一颗骄傲的心的人，他激起纷争；但把自己的信靠放在主里的人，他会变得肥硕。
心中贪婪的，挑起争端；倚靠耶和华的，必得丰裕。
He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat.

信靠他自己心的，便是愚昧；但凭智慧行事的，必蒙拯救。
信靠自己的心的人，他是一个愚蠢者；但无论谁智慧地行走，他就会被拯救。
心中自是的，便是愚昧人；凭智慧行事的，必蒙拯救。
He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.

给予贫穷人的，不致缺乏；但闭眼不理他们的，必多受咒诅。
给予贫穷者的人，他不会缺乏；但隐藏自己眼睛的人，他会有许多咒诅。
周济贫穷的，不致缺乏；佯为不见的，必多受咒诅。
He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.

恶人兴起，人就躲藏；但恶人败亡，义人增多。
当恶者兴起时，人们就隐藏自己；但当他们灭亡时，正义者就增加。

When the wicked rise, men hide themselves: but when they perish, the righteous increase.
