  2. 2

    要使人晓得智慧和训诲,明白通达的言语,

    为要知道智慧和指示;为要意识悟性的话语;

    为要接受智慧,公正,判决,平等的指示;

    使人处事领受智慧、仁义、公平、正直的训诲,

    To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;

  4. 4

    To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.

  5. 5

    使智慧人听见,增长学问,使聪明人得着智谋,

    一个智慧的人会听,并会增加学识;一个有悟性的人要获得智慧的建议;

    使智慧人听见,增长学问,使聪明人得着智谋,

    A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:

  6. 6

    To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.

  7. 7

    The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

  8. 8

    我儿,要听你父亲的训诲,不要离弃你母亲的法则;

    我的儿子,听你父亲的指示,不要离弃你母亲的法律;

    我儿,要听你父亲的训诲,不可离弃你母亲的法则(或译:指教);

    My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:

  9. 9

    For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.

  10. 10

    My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.

  11. 11

    他们若说,你与我们一起去,我们要埋伏流人之血,要蹲伏害无罪之人;

    如果他们说,和我们一起来,让我们为血埋伏,让我们无缘无故去悄悄地埋伏清白者;

    他们若说:“你与我们同去,我们要埋伏流人之血,要蹲伏害无罪之人;

    If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:

  12. 12

    我们好像坟墓,把他们活活吞下;他们如同下坑的人,被我们囫囵吞了;

    让我们像坟墓一样生吞他们;并且整个,就像那些下到坑里的人;

    我们好像阴间,把他们活活吞下;他们如同下坑的人,被我们囫囵吞了;

    Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:

  13. 13

    我们必得各样宝物,将所掳来的,装满房屋;

    我们要找到所有宝贵的实物,我们要用战利品装满我们的房子;

    我们必得各样宝物,将所掳来的,装满房屋;

    We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil:

  14. 14

    你与我们大家同分,我们共用一个囊袋;

    你在我们当中抽签;让我们所有人用一个钱包;

    你与我们大家同分,我们共用一个囊袋。”

    Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse:

  15. 15

    我儿,不要与他们同行一道,禁止你脚走他们的路。

    我的儿子,你不要与他们走在同一条道路里;克制你的脚脱离他们的路径;

    我儿,不要与他们同行一道,禁止你脚走他们的路。

    My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:

  16. 16

    For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.

  17. 17

    Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.

  18. 18

    And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives.

  19. 19

    So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.

  20. 20

    智慧在外头呼喊,她在街道上发声,

    智慧在外面哭喊;她在街道上发出她的声;

    智慧在街市上呼喊,在宽阔处发声,

    Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:

  21. 21

    She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying,

  22. 22

    How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?

  23. 23

    Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

  24. 24

    因为我呼唤,你们拒绝;我伸手,无人理会;

    因为我已呼唤,你们却拒绝了;我已伸出我的手,却无人看重;

    我呼唤,你们不肯听从;我伸手,无人理会;

    Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;

  25. 25

    反轻弃我一切的劝诫,不愿受我的责备。

    而你们把我一切的建议定为无用,又不受我的任何责备;

    反轻弃我一切的劝戒,不肯受我的责备。

    But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:

  26. 26

    我也要嘲笑你们的灾难;当你们的畏惧临到,我要嗤笑。

    我也要笑你们的灾难;当你们的畏惧来到,我要笑话;

    你们遭灾难,我就发笑;惊恐临到你们,我必嗤笑。

    I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;

  27. 27

    When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.

  28. 28

    那时,你们必呼求我,我却不回答,恳切地寻找我,却寻不见。

    那时他们会呼叫我,但我不会回答;他们会早早地寻求我,但他们不会找到我;

    那时,你们必呼求我,我却不答应,恳切地寻找我,却寻不见。

    Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:

  29. 29

    因为,他们恨恶知识,不选择耶和华的畏惧;

    因为,他们恨知识,又不选择主的畏惧;

    因为,你们恨恶知识,不喜爱敬畏耶和华,

    For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:

  30. 30

    They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.

  31. 31

    Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

  32. 32

    For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

  33. 33

    But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
