   住南地的迦南人亚拉得王，听说以色列人从探子之路来，就和以色列人争战，带走他们几个人作囚犯。

   当住在南方的刊南人阿拉得王听说以色列通过探子们的路来过时；于是他就攻打以色列，并抓了他们几个人作囚犯。

   住南地的迦南人亚拉得王，听说以色列人从亚他林路来，就和以色列人争战，掳了他们几个人。

   And when king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south, heard tell that Israel came by the way of the spies; then he fought against Israel, and took some of them prisoners.

2. 2

   以色列人向耶和华发誓说，你若将这民交付我手，我就把他们的城市完全毁灭。

   以色列就向主发了个誓，说，如果你把这人民交到我的手里，那么我就彻底毁灭他们的众城市。

   以色列人向耶和华发愿说：“你若将这民交付我手，我就把他们的城邑尽行毁灭。”

   And Israel vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If thou wilt indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities.

3. 3

   耶和华听了以色列的声音，把迦南人交付他们，他们就把迦南人和迦南人的城市完全毁灭。那地方的名便叫何珥玛。

   主听取了以色列的声音，就交出了刊南人；他们就彻底毁灭了他们和他们的众城市；他就叫那地方的名为和耳马。

   耶和华应允了以色列人，把迦南人交付他们，他们就把迦南人和迦南人的城邑尽行毁灭。那地方的名便叫何珥玛（就是毁灭的意思）。

   And the LORD hearkened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities: and he called the name of the place Hormah.

4. 4

   他们从何珥山起行，往红海那条路走，要绕过以东地。因这路难行，百姓的魂很沮丧，

   然后他们从和耳山通往红海的路起程，为要绕过以东的土地；人民的魂都因这路很沮丧。

   他们从何珥山起行，往红海那条路走，要绕过以东地。百姓因这路难行，心中甚是烦躁，

   And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way.

5. 5

   百姓就攻击神和摩西说，你们为什么把我们从埃及领出来、使我们死在旷野呢？这里没有粮，没有水，我们的魂厌恶这淡薄的食物。

   人民就说话针对神和摩西，你们为什么带我们出埃及上来并死在荒野里？因这里没有饼，也没有水；我们的魂厌恶这淡薄的饼。

   就怨讟　神和摩西说：“你们为什么把我们从埃及领出来、使我们死在旷野呢？这里没有粮，没有水，我们的心厌恶这淡薄的食物。”

   And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.

6. 6

   于是耶和华使火蛇进入百姓中间，蛇就咬他们。以色列人中死了许多。

   主就派众火蛇到人民当中，它们咬了人民；许多以色列的人民死了。

   于是耶和华使火蛇进入百姓中间，蛇就咬他们。以色列人中死了许多。

   And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.

7. 7

   百姓到摩西那里，说，我们说话攻击耶和华和你，有罪了。求你祷告耶和华，叫这些蛇离开我们。于是摩西为百姓祷告。

   因此人民来到摩西那里，说，我们犯了罪，因我们说话针对主和你；请求主，让他从我们这里赶走这些蛇吧。摩西就为人民请求。

   百姓到摩西那里，说：“我们怨讟耶和华和你，有罪了。求你祷告耶和华，叫这些蛇离开我们。”于是摩西为百姓祷告。

   Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.

8. 8

   耶和华对摩西说，你制造一条火蛇，挂在杆子上；它必发生，凡被咬的，一望这蛇，就必得活。

   主对摩西说，你造一条火蛇，把它安在一根杆子上；会这样发生，每个被咬的人，当他看它时，就会活。

   耶和华对摩西说：“你制造一条火蛇，挂在杆子上；凡被咬的，一望这蛇，就必得活。”

   And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.

9. 9

   摩西便制造一条铜蛇，挂在杆子上；凡被蛇咬的，一望这铜蛇就活了。

   摩西就造一条铜蛇，把它放在一根杆子上，这样发生了，如果一条蛇咬了任何人，当他看这铜蛇时，他就活了。

   摩西便制造一条铜蛇，挂在杆子上；凡被蛇咬的，一望这铜蛇就活了。

   And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

10. 10

    以色列儿女起行，安营在阿伯。

    然后以色列孩子们前进，在奥伯斯里支搭。

    以色列人起行，安营在阿伯。

    And the children of Israel set forward, and pitched in Oboth.

11. 11

    又从阿伯起行，安营在以耶亚巴琳，与摩押相对的旷野，向日出之地。

    他们又从奥伯斯起程，支搭在埃耶巴瑞姆，就是在摩阿布前面的荒野里，朝着日出。

    And they journeyed from Oboth, and pitched at Ijeabarim, in the wilderness which is before Moab, toward the sunrising.

12. 12

    从那里起行，安营在撒烈谷。

    他们从那里迁移，支搭在扎瑞得谷里。

    From thence they removed, and pitched in the valley of Zared.

13. 13

    从那里起行，安营在亚嫩河那边。这亚嫩河是在旷野，从亚摩利的境界流出来的；亚嫩河曾是摩押的边界，在摩押和亚摩利人交界的地方。

    他们从那里迁移，支搭在阿农的另一边，在从阿摩瑞人的边境出来的荒野里；因阿农是摩阿布的边界，在摩阿布和阿摩瑞人之间。

    从那里起行，安营在亚嫩河那边。这亚嫩河是在旷野，从亚摩利的境界流出来的；原来亚嫩河是摩押的边界，在摩押和亚摩利人搭界的地方。

    From thence they removed, and pitched on the other side of Arnon, which is in the wilderness that cometh out of the coasts of the Amorites: for Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites.

14. 14

    所以耶和华的战记上说，他所行的事在红海、亚嫩河、

    所以主的战争之书里说，他在红海中做了什么，并在阿农的众溪，

    所以耶和华的战记上说：“苏法的哇哈伯与亚嫩河的谷，

    Wherefore it is said in the book of the wars of the LORD, What he did in the Red sea, and in the brooks of Arnon,

    并向亚珥城众溪的河水，是靠近摩押的境界。

    又在下到阿耳居住地众溪的支流，然后躺在摩阿布的边界上。

    并向亚珥城众谷的下坡，是靠近摩押的境界。”

    And at the stream of the brooks that goeth down to the dwelling of Ar, and lieth upon the border of Moab.

16. 16

    以色列人从那里起行，到了比珥。从前耶和华对摩西说，招聚百姓，我好给他们水喝，说的就是这井。

    他们就从那里去到比耳；这就是主曾对摩西讲话，把人民聚集到一起，我要给他们水的那井。

    以色列人从那里起行，到了比珥（就是井的意思）。从前耶和华吩咐摩西说：“招聚百姓，我好给他们水喝”，说的就是这井。

    And from thence they went to Beer: that is the well whereof the LORD spake unto Moses, Gather the people together, and I will give them water.

17. 17

    当时，以色列人唱歌说，井啊，涌上水来。你们要向这井歌唱。

    那时，以色列唱这歌，井啊，涌上来；你们向它歌唱；

    当时，以色列人唱歌说：“井啊，涌上水来！你们要向这井歌唱。

    Then Israel sang this song, Spring up, O well; sing ye unto it:

18. 18

    这井是首领和民中的尊贵人，按着设立律法者所指示的、用杖所挖所掘的。以色列人从旷野往玛他拿去，

    众王子挖了这井，人民中的尊贵人挖了它，是用他们的棍，按着给法律者的指示。他们就从荒野去到马他拿；

    这井是首领和民中的尊贵人用圭用杖所挖所掘的。”以色列人从旷野往玛他拿去;

    The princes digged the well, the nobles of the people digged it, by the direction of the lawgiver, with their staves. And from the wilderness they went to Mattanah:

19. 19

    从玛他拿到拿哈列，从拿哈列到巴末，

    又从马他拿到拿哈列尔；从拿哈列尔到巴摩斯；

    从玛他拿到拿哈列，从拿哈列到巴末，

    And from Mattanah to Nahaliel: and from Nahaliel to Bamoth:

20. 20

    从巴末到了摩押地的谷，又到那望向耶示门之毗斯迦的山顶。

    从谷里的巴摩斯，那是在摩阿布的地区里，到望向耶实门的，皮斯伽的顶。

    从巴末到摩押地的谷，又到那下望旷野之毗斯迦的山顶。

    And from Bamoth in the valley, that is in the country of Moab, to the top of Pisgah, which looketh toward Jeshimon.

21. 21

    以色列人差使者们去见亚摩利人的王西宏，说，

    以色列就派使者们到阿摩瑞人的王西宏那里，说，

    以色列人差遣使者去见亚摩利人的王西宏，说：

    And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites, saying,

22. 22

    求你让我们从你的地经过。我们不走田间和葡萄园，也不喝井里的水，只走王的大道，不偏左右，直到过了你的境界。

    让我经过你的土地；我们不会转进田地或葡萄园；我们不会喝井里的众水；而是会顺着王的大道走，直到我们过了你的边界。

    “求你容我们从你的地经过；我们不偏入田间和葡萄园，也不喝井里的水，只走大道（原文是王道），直到过了你的境界。”

    Let me pass through thy land: we will not turn into the fields, or into the vineyards; we will not drink of the waters of the well: but we will go along by the king's high way, until we be past thy borders.

23. 23

    西宏不让以色列人从他的境界经过，就招聚他的众民出到旷野，要攻击以色列人，到了雅杂与以色列人争战。

    西宏不容许以色列经过他的边界；西宏反而聚集他所有的人民出到荒野，对着以色列；他就来到雅哈兹攻打以色列。

    And Sihon would not suffer Israel to pass through his border: but Sihon gathered all his people together, and went out against Israel into the wilderness: and he came to Jahaz, and fought against Israel.

24. 24

    以色列人用剑的锋刃杀了他，得了他的地，从亚嫩河到雅博河，直到亚扪儿女的境界，因为亚扪儿女的境界坚固。

    然后以色列就用剑刃重击了他，并占有了他的土地，从阿农到雅伯克，直到阿门孩子们那里；因阿门孩子们的边界是坚固的。

    以色列人用刀杀了他，得了他的地，从亚嫩河到雅博河，直到亚扪人的境界，因为亚扪人的境界多有坚垒。

    And Israel smote him with the edge of the sword, and possessed his land from Arnon unto Jabbok, even unto the children of Ammon: for the border of the children of Ammon was strong.

25. 25

    以色列人夺取这一切的城市，也住进亚摩利人的城市，就是希实本与希实本的一切乡村。

    以色列夺取了所有的这些城市；就住在阿摩瑞人的众城市里，就是在海实本里与其所有的乡村里。

    以色列人夺取这一切的城邑，也住亚摩利人的城邑，就是希实本与希实本的一切乡村。

    And Israel took all these cities: and Israel dwelt in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all the villages thereof.

26. 26

    这希实本是亚摩利王西宏的京城；西宏曾与摩押的先王争战，从他手中夺取了全地，直到亚嫩河。

    因海实本是阿摩瑞王西宏的城市，他曾攻打摩阿布的先王，从他手中夺取了他所有的土地，直到阿农。

    For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab, and taken all his land out of his hand, even unto Arnon.

27. 27

    所以那些作诗歌的说，你们来到希实本；愿西宏的城被修造，被建立。

    所以那些讲谚语的人说，来进到海实本；让西宏的城被建造和预备好。

    所以那些作诗歌的说：“你们来到希实本；愿西宏的城被修造，被建立。

    Wherefore they that speak in proverbs say, Come into Heshbon, let the city of Sihon be built and prepared:

28. 28

    因为有火从希实本发出，有火焰出于西宏的城，烧尽摩押的亚珥和亚嫩河高处的众主。

    因为有火从海实本发出，从西宏的城来的火焰；它消灭了摩阿布的阿耳和阿农高处的众主。

    因为有火从希实本发出，有火焰出于西宏的城，烧尽摩押的亚珥和亚嫩河邱坛的祭司（祭司原文是主）。

    For there is a fire gone out of Heshbon, a flame from the city of Sihon: it hath consumed ar of Moab, and the lords of the high places of Arnon.

29. 29

    摩押啊，你有祸了！基抹的民哪，你们灭亡了！基抹的儿子们逃奔，他的女儿们被掳，交付亚摩利的王西宏。

    摩阿布，你有祸了！凯摩示的人民啊，你完了；他把他逃避的众子和他的众女儿送给阿摩瑞王西宏当俘虏。

    摩押啊，你有祸了！基抹的民哪，你们灭亡了！基抹的男子逃奔，女子被掳，交付亚摩利的王西宏。

    Woe to thee, Moab! thou art undone, O people of Chemosh: he hath given his sons that escaped, and his daughters, into captivity unto Sihon king of the Amorites.

30. 30

    我们射了他们；希实本直到底本全都毁灭。我们使地变成荒场，直到挪法；这挪法直延到米底巴。

    我们射了他们；海实本直到迪本都灭亡了，我们使他们荒废，直到挪法，延伸到米迪巴。

    我们射了他们；希实本直到底本尽皆毁灭。我们使地变成荒场，直到挪法；这挪法直延到米底巴。”

    We have shot at them; Heshbon is perished even unto Dibon, and we have laid them waste even unto Nophah, which reacheth unto Medeba.

31. 31

    这样，以色列就住在亚摩利人之地。

    这样，以色列就住在阿摩瑞人的土地里。

    这样，以色列人就住在亚摩利人之地。

    Thus Israel dwelt in the land of the Amorites.

32. 32

    摩西差人去窥探雅谢，以色列人就占了雅谢的村庄，赶出那里的亚摩利人。

    摩西派人去察探雅泽耳，他们就夺取了其村庄，并赶出那里的阿摩瑞人。

    And Moses sent to spy out Jaazer, and they took the villages thereof, and drove out the Amorites that were there.

33. 33

    他们转回，向巴珊去。巴珊王噩和他的所有人民都出来，在以得来与他们交战。

    And they turned and went up by the way of Bashan: and og the king of bashan went out against them, he, and all his people, to the battle at edrei.

34. 34

    耶和华对摩西说，不要畏惧他，因我已将他和他的所有人民，并他的地，都交在你手中；你要待他像从前待住希实本的亚摩利王西宏一般。

    主对摩西说，不要畏惧他；因为我已经把他交在你的手中了，还有他的所有人民，并他的土地；你对他要像你对住在海实本的阿摩瑞王西宏一样。

    耶和华对摩西说：“不要怕他！因我已将他和他的众民，并他的地，都交在你手中；你要待他像从前待住希实本的亚摩利王西宏一般。”

    And the LORD said unto Moses, Fear him not: for I have delivered him into thy hand, and all his people, and his land; and thou shalt do to him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.

35. 35

    于是他们杀了他和他的众子，并他的所有人民，没有留下一个，就得了他的地。

    所以他们就猛击了他和他的众子，并他的所有人民，直到他没有留下一个活的；他们就占有了他的土地。

    于是他们杀了他和他的众子，并他的众民，没有留下一个，就得了他的地。

    So they smote him, and his sons, and all his people, until there was none left him alive: and they possessed his land.
