当希律王的时候，耶稣生在犹太的伯利恒。看啊，有几个智慧人从东方来到耶路撒冷，
在海若得王的日子里，那时耶稣被生在犹迪亚的贝斯勒罕里，看啊，有众智慧人从东方来到耶路撒冷，
当希律王的时候，耶稣生在犹太的伯利恒。有几个博士从东方来到耶路撒冷，说：
Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

说，那生下来作犹太人之王的在哪里？我们在东方看见他的星，来敬拜他。
说，那被生下来作犹太人之王的在哪里？因我们已经在东方看见他的星，就来敬拜他。
“那生下来作犹太人之王的在哪里？我们在东方看见他的星，特来拜他。”
Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

当希律王听见了这些事，他就不安；耶路撒冷全城的人也都不安。
当海若得王听见了这些事情，他就烦恼；并且全耶路撒冷都和他一样。
希律王听见了，就心里不安；耶路撒冷合城的人也都不安。
When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

他就召齐了祭司长和百姓的文士，他问他们：基督应当生在哪里？
当他聚集了所有祭司长和人民的众抄写员到一起，他就向他们提出要求，要知道受膏者会被生产在哪里。
他就召齐了祭司长和民间的文士，问他们说：“基督当生在何处？”
And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.

他们回答他：在犹太的伯利恒。因为有先知记着说，
然后他们对他说，在犹迪亚的贝斯勒罕里；因被预言者这样写道，
他们回答说：“在犹太的伯利恒。因为有先知记着，说：
And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,

犹大地的伯利恒啊，你在犹大众王子中并不是最小的；因为将来有一位统治者要从你那里出来，治理我以色列民。
在犹大土地里的贝斯勒罕啊，你在犹大众王子中并不是最小的；因为会有一位执政官从你那里出来，管理我的人民以色列。
‘犹大地的伯利恒啊，你在犹大诸城中并不是最小的；因为将来有一位君王要从你那里出来，牧养我以色列民。’”
And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

然后，希律私下召了智慧人来，细问那星是什么时候出现的，
于是海若得悄悄地召来了众智慧人，认真问他们那星是什么时间出现的。
当下，希律暗暗地召了博士来，细问那星是什么时候出现的，
Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.

就差他们往伯利恒去，说，你们去仔细寻找那小孩子，找到了，就来报信，我也好去敬拜他。
然后他就派他们去贝斯勒罕，说，去认真搜索那小孩子；当你们找到他时，再带话给我，我也可以来敬拜他。
就差他们往伯利恒去，说：“你们去仔细寻访那小孩子，寻到了就来报信，我也好去拜他。”
And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.

他们听见王的话就去了；看啊，在东方所看见的那星在他们前头行，直行到小孩子的地方，就在上头停住了。
当他们听了王的话，就离开了；瞧，他们在东方看见的那星在他们前面走，直到它来到小孩子的地方，就在上面停住。
他们听见王的话就去了。在东方所看见的那星忽然在他们前头行，直行到小孩子的地方，就在上头停住了。
When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.

他们看见那星，就大大地欢喜；
当他们看见那星，他们就欢喜得不得了。
他们看见那星，就大大地欢喜；
When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

进了房子，看见小孩子和他母亲马利亚，就俯伏敬拜那小孩子，揭开宝盒，拿黄金、乳香、没药为礼物献给他。
然后他们进了房子里，他们看见小孩子和他母亲马瑞在一起，就俯伏敬拜他；那时他们打开他们的宝物，并把礼物呈献给他；有黄金，乳香，没药。
进了房子，看见小孩子和他母亲马利亚，就俯伏拜那小孩子，揭开宝盒，拿黄金、乳香、没药为礼物献给他。
And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.

他们因为在梦中被神警戒不要回去见希律，他们就离开，从别的路回自己的家乡去了。
然后他们在一个梦里被神警戒，不要回到海若得那里，他们就离开，从别的路进入他们自己的地区。
博士因为在梦中被主指示不要回去见希律，就从别的路回本地去了。
And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

他们去后，看啊，有主的天使向约瑟梦中显现，说，起来，带着小孩子和他母亲逃到埃及，住在那里，等我带话给你；因为希律必寻找小孩子，要除灭他。
当他们离开后，看啊，主的天使在一个梦里向约瑟弗显现，说，起来，领着小孩子和他母亲逃进埃及，你就住在那里，直到我带话给你；因为海若得要寻找这小孩子，为要毁灭他。
他们去后，有主的使者向约瑟梦中显现，说：“起来！带着小孩子同他母亲逃往埃及，住在那里，等我吩咐你；因为希律必寻找小孩子，要除灭他。”
And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.

约瑟就起来，夜间带着小孩子和他母亲往埃及去，
他就起来，在夜晚他领着小孩子和他母亲离开进入了埃及；
约瑟就起来，夜间带着小孩子和他母亲往埃及去，
When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:

住在那里，直到希律死了。这是要应验主借先知所说的话，说，我从埃及召出我的儿子来。
然后就住在那里，直到海若得死了；这是要应验主借预言者讲的，说，我从埃及叫出我的儿子来。
住在那里，直到希律死了。这是要应验主藉先知所说的话，说：“我从埃及召出我的儿子来。”
And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.

希律见自己被智慧人愚弄，就大大发怒，差人将伯利恒城里并境内所有的男孩，照着他向智慧人仔细查问的时候，凡两岁以里的，都杀尽了。
于是，当海若得见他被众智慧人嘲弄，就极其恼怒，然后派人把贝斯勒罕城里及其所有边境里的所有孩子，从两岁及以下的，都杀了，是按照他向众智慧人认真询问的时间。
希律见自己被博士愚弄，就大大发怒，差人将伯利恒城里并四境所有的男孩，照着他向博士仔细查问的时候，凡两岁以里的，都杀尽了。
Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men.

这就应了先知耶利米的话，说，
于是就应验了借预言者耶瑞米讲的，说，

Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying,

在拉玛听见有一个声音，哀悼、哭泣、大大地哀恸，是拉结哭她的儿女，不愿被安慰，因为他们都不在了。
在拉马里有一个声音被听见，有哀痛，哭泣，和极大地哀悼，是瑞秋尔为她的孩子们哭泣，不愿被安慰，因为他们都不在了。
“在拉玛听见号啕大哭的声音，是拉结哭她儿女，不肯受安慰，因为他们都不在了。”
In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.

但当希律死了以后，看啊，有主的一位天使在埃及向约瑟梦中显现，
但当海若得死了以后，看啊，主的一位天使在埃及向约瑟弗在一个梦里显现，
希律死了以后，有主的使者在埃及向约瑟梦中显现，说：
But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,

说，起来，带着小孩子和他母亲往以色列地去，因为要害小孩子性命的人已经死了。
说，起来，领着小孩子和他母亲进入以色列的土地去，因为想要小孩子生命的人们死了。
“起来！带着小孩子和他母亲往以色列地去，因为要害小孩子性命的人已经死了。”
Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life.

约瑟就起来，把小孩子和他母亲带到以色列地去；
约瑟弗就起来，带着小孩子和他母亲来进入了以色列的土地。
约瑟就起来，把小孩子和他母亲带到以色列地去；
And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.

但当他听见亚基老接着他父亲希律作了犹太王，就怕往那里去，又在梦中被神警戒，便往加利利境内去了，
但当他听见阿克老斯接替他父亲海若得的位置在犹迪亚统治，他就害怕到那里去；尽管如此，在一个梦里被神警戒，他就转到旁边进入了属加利利的部分；
只因听见亚基老接着他父亲希律作了犹太王，就怕往那里去，又在梦中被主指示，便往加利利境内去了，
But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee:

他到了一座城，名叫拿撒勒，就住在那里。这是要应验借众先知所说的，他将被称为一个拿撒勒人。
他就来住在一座叫拿撒勒的城里；这是要应验借众预言者说的，他会被叫作一个拿撒勒人。
到了一座城，名叫拿撒勒，就住在那里。这是要应验先知所说，他将称为拿撒勒人的话了。
And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.
