Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,

这些话你要说多久？口中的言语如狂风要多久呢？
这些事你还要说多久？你口中的话语类似一阵大风还要多久？
“这些话你要说到几时？口中的言语如狂风要到几时呢？
How long wilt thou speak these things? and how long shall the words of thy mouth be like a strong wind?

神难道能偏离公平？全能者难道能偏离公义？
神会歪曲判决？或全能者会歪曲公正？
神岂能偏离公平？全能者岂能偏离公义？
Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice?

或者你的儿女得罪了他；他就因他们的过犯弃绝他们。
如果你的孩子们对他犯罪，他就因他们的违犯丢弃他们；
或者你的儿女得罪了他；他使他们受报应。
If thy children have sinned against him, and he have cast them away for their transgression;
- 5
你若从早寻求神，向全能者恳求；
如果你从早就寻找神，并向那造你的全能者祈求；
你若殷勤地寻求 神，向全能者恳求；
If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty;
- 6
你若纯洁正直，他必定为你起来，使你公义的住所兴旺。
如果你纯一且正直；他一定为你警醒，使你正义的居所兴旺。
你若清洁正直，他必定为你起来，使你公义的居所兴旺。
If thou wert pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous.

你起初虽然微小，你终久必大大增多。
即使你在一开始微小，然而你后来的结局要大量增加。
你起初虽然微小，终久必甚发达。
Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.

求你查问前代，追念他们的父辈所查究的。
因为我请求你去查考以前的年代，预备好自己去搜索他们的父辈；
“请你考问前代，追念他们的列祖所查究的。
For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers:

（我们不过从昨日才有，一无所知；因为我们在地上的日子好像一个影子。）
（因我们不过昨天才有，一无所知；因为我们在地上的日子就是一个影子；）
我们不过从昨日才有，一无所知；我们在世的日子好像影儿。
(For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:)

他们难道不教导你，告诉你，从心里发出言语来呢？
他们难道不会教导你，并告诉你，又从他们心里发出的话语来？
他们岂不指教你，告诉你，从心里发出言语来呢？
Shall not they teach thee, and tell thee, and utter words out of their heart?

蒲草没有泥怎能长大？芦荻没有水怎能生长？
蒲草没有泥怎么能长大？芦荻没有水怎么能生长？
“蒲草没有泥岂能发长？芦荻没有水岂能生发？
Can the rush grow up without mire? can the flag grow without water?
- 12
尽管它还绿的时候，没有割下，它比百样的草都先枯萎。
尽管在它还绿的时候，没有割下，它比各样其它的药草都先枯萎。
尚青的时候，还没有割下，比百样的草先枯槁。
Whilst it is yet in his greenness, and not cut down, it withereth before any other herb.

凡忘记神的人，景况也是这样；伪善之人的指望要灭没。
所有忘记神的人的路径都是这样；伪善者的希望会灭亡；
凡忘记 神的人，景况也是这样；不虔敬人的指望要灭没。
So are the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite's hope shall perish:

他所指望的必剪除；他所信靠的必为蜘蛛网。
他的希望会被剪除，他信靠的会成为蜘蛛网。
他所仰赖的必折断；他所倚靠的是蜘蛛网。
Whose hope shall be cut off, and whose trust shall be a spider's web.

他要倚靠自己的家，家却站立不住；他要抓住它，它却不能存留。
他倚靠自己的家，它却不能站立；他紧抓住它，它却不能坚持。
他要倚靠房屋，房屋却站立不住；他要抓住房屋，房屋却不能存留。
He shall lean upon his house, but it shall not stand: he shall hold it fast, but it shall not endure.

他在太阳面前发绿，枝子长满了园子；
他在太阳面前发绿，并且他的园子里长满了枝子。
他在日光之下发青，蔓子爬满了园子；
He is green before the sun, and his branch shooteth forth in his garden.

他的根盘绕石堆，扎入石地。
他的根围绕着那堆，并看到石头的地方。
他的根盘绕石堆，扎入石地。
His roots are wrapped about the heap, and seeth the place of stones.
- 18
若他从自己的地方毁灭他，那地就拒绝他，说，我没有见过你。
如果他从自己的地方毁灭他，那么它就会否认他，说，我没有见过你。
他若从本地被拔出，那地就不认识他，说：我没有见过你。
If he destroy him from his place, then it shall deny him, saying, I have not seen thee.

看啊，这就是他道路中的乐趣；以后必有别人从地而生。
看啊，这就是他欢喜的方式，然后会有别人从这地中生出。
看哪，这就是他道中之乐；以后必另有人从地而生。
Behold, this is the joy of his way, and out of the earth shall others grow.
- 20
看啊，神必不丢弃完全人，也不扶助邪恶人。
看啊，神不会丢弃完美的人，他也不会帮助做坏事者；
神必不丢弃完全人，也不扶助邪恶人。
Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:
- 21
甚至他要以喜笑充满你的嘴，以喜悦充满你的唇。
直到他以欢笑充满你的嘴，并且以喜乐充满你的唇。
他还要以喜笑充满你的口，以欢呼充满你的嘴。
Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing.

恨恶你的要披戴惭愧；恶人的住所必归于无有。
那些恨你的人会穿上羞愧；并且邪恶者的住处会归到无有。
恨恶你的要披戴惭愧；恶人的帐棚必归于无有。”
They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to nought.
