以利户又说，
此外，以利户又讲，说，
以利户又说：
Elihu spake moreover, and said,
2
你以为有理，你说，我的公义胜于神的公义？
你这样想是正确的吗，你说，我的正义多过神的正义？
“你以为有理，或以为你的公义胜于　神的公义，
Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God's?

因为，你说这与你有什么益处？我罪若被洁净有什么好处呢？
因为你说，这对你有什么益处？如果我从我的罪中被洁净，我有什么好处？
才说，‘这与我有什么益处？我不犯罪比犯罪有什么好处呢？’
For thou saidst, What advantage will it be unto thee? and, What profit shall I have, if I be cleansed from my sin?

我要回答你和在你这里的朋友。
我要回答你，和与你在一起的你的同伴们。
我要回答你和在你这里的朋友。
I will answer thee, and thy companions with thee.
5
你要向诸天观看，看那高过你的云。
看向众天，要明白；看那高过你的众云。
你要向天观看，瞻望那高于你的穹苍。
Look unto the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds which are higher than thou.
6
你如果犯罪，能攻击神什么呢？你的过犯加增，能给他造成什么呢？
如果你犯罪，你能对他做什么？或者你的违犯成倍增加，能向他做什么？
你若犯罪，能使　神受何害呢？你的过犯加增，能使　神受何损呢？
If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him? or if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?

你如果公义，能给他什么呢？或者他从你手里能接受什么呢？
如果你是正义的，你能给他什么？或者他能从你手里接受什么？
你若是公义，还能加增他什么呢？他从你手里还接受什么呢？
If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand?

你的邪恶可能害你这类的人；你的公义可能叫人的儿子得益处。
你的邪恶可以伤害一个向你这样的人；并且你的正义可以叫人的儿子得益处。
你的过恶或能害你这类的人；你的公义或能叫世人得益处。
Thy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art; and thy righteousness may profit the son of man.

人因多受欺压就哭求，因能者的膀臂便哭求，
他们因多受欺压就哭喊；他们因大能的膀臂就哭喊。
“人因多受欺压就哀求，因受能者的辖制（原文是膀臂）便求救，
By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make the oppressed to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty.

却无人说，我的创造者在哪里？他使人夜间歌唱，
却没有人说，我的制造者神在哪里，谁在夜里给予歌曲；
却无人说：‘造我的　神在哪里？他使人夜间歌唱，
But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night;
11
教训我们胜于地上的兽，造我们比天上的飞禽智慧。
谁教导我们超过这地上的兽，又造我们比天上的飞禽更智慧？
教训我们胜于地上的走兽，使我们有聪明胜于空中的飞鸟。’
Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?

他们在那里，因恶人的骄傲呼求，却无人回答。
他们在那里哭喊，却没有回应，是因为坏人的骄傲。
他们在那里，因恶人的骄傲呼求，却无人答应。
There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men.
13
虚妄的呼求，神实在不垂听；全能者也必不考虑。
的确，神不会去听虚空，全能者也不会在乎它。
虚妄的呼求，　神必不垂听；全能者也必不眷顾。
Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.
14
虽然你说，你不能见他；你的案件仍在他面前，你信靠他吧。
虽然你说，你不会见到他，然而判决仍在他面前；因此你要信靠他。
何况你说，你不得见他；你的案件在他面前，你等候他吧。
Although thou sayest thou shalt not see him, yet judgment is before him; therefore trust thou in him.

但现在因不是那样，他在他的怒中造访，也不知道极大的绝境，
但现在，因为事情不是这样的，他已经在他的气愤中造访；他知道事情还没到极点；
但如今因他未曾发怒降罚，也不甚理会狂傲，
But now, because it is not so, he hath visited in his anger; yet he knoweth it not in great extremity:

所以约伯开口说虚妄的话，多发无知识的言语。
因此约伯在虚空里打开他的口；他成倍增加了无知识的话语。
所以约伯开口说虚妄的话，多发无知识的言语。”
Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vain; he multiplieth words without knowledge.
