   拿玛人琐法回答说，

   那时拿玛人琐法回答，说，

   拿玛人琐法回答说：

   Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said,

   这许多的言语难道不该回答吗？多话的人难道可称为义吗？

   这么多的话语不该回答吗？说话多的那个人就为义了吗？

   “这许多的言语岂不该回答吗？多嘴多舌的人岂可称为义吗？

   Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified?

3. 3

   你的谎话怎能使人不出声？你嘲笑的时候难道没有人叫你害羞吗？

   你的谎话能让众人不出声吗？当你笑话的时候，没有人让你羞愧吗？

   你夸大的话岂能使人不作声吗？你戏笑的时候岂没有人叫你害羞吗？

   Should thy lies make men hold their peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?

4. 4

   你说，我的道理纯全；我在你眼前洁净。

   因你说过，我的教义是纯一的，我在你的眼睛里是清洁的。

   你说：‘我的道理纯全；我在你眼前洁净。’

   For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes.

   惟愿神说话；愿开他的唇攻击你，

   哦，但愿神说话；并且打开他的唇攻击你；

   惟愿　神说话；愿他开口攻击你，

   But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee;

6. 6

   并将智慧的奥秘指示你；他有各样的智识。所以应当知道神追讨你比你罪孽该得的还少。

   并把智慧的秘密显给你，它们会是事实的两倍！因此要知道，神索取的，比你的罪过该得的少。

   并将智慧的奥秘指示你；他有诸般的智识。所以当知道　神追讨你比你罪孽该得的还少。

   And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.

   你考察就能测透神吗？你怎能尽情测透全能者？

   你搜索就能明白神吗？你能完全明白全能者吗？

   你考察就能测透　神吗？你岂能尽情测透全能者吗？

   Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?

8. 8

   它高如天，你还能作什么？深过地狱，你还能知道什么？

   它像天一样高；你能做什么？比地狱更深；你能知道什么？

   他的智慧高于天，你还能做什么？深于阴间，你还能知道什么？

   It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know?

9. 9

   其量比地长，比海宽。

   其长度比这地还长，比海更宽。

   其量比地长，比海宽。

   The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.

10. 10

    他若剪除，关闭，或是招聚，谁能妨碍他呢？

    如果他剪除，关闭，或聚集到一起，那么谁能妨碍他？

    他若经过，将人拘禁，招人受审，谁能阻挡他呢？

    If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him?

11. 11

    因他知道虚妄的人；人的罪恶，他既是无所不见，难道不留意吗？

    因他知道虚空的人；他也看到邪恶；难道他不会考虑它吗？

    他本知道虚妄的人；人的罪孽，他虽不留意，还是无所不见。

    For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider it?

12. 12

    人生在世虽像野驴的驹子，虚妄的人却愿得智慧。

    尽管人生出来像个野驴的驹子，因虚空的人要智慧。

    空虚的人却毫无知识；人生在世好像野驴的驹子。

    For vain men would be wise, though man be born like a wild ass's colt.

13. 13

    你若预备己心，又向他举手；

    如果你准备自己的心，并且向他伸出你的手；

    “你若将心安正，又向主举手；

    If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him;

14. 14

    你手里若有罪孽，就应当远远地除掉，也不让邪恶住在你帐篷之中。

    如果你手里有罪过，就把它远远地除掉，也不要让邪恶住在你的帐幕里。

    你手里若有罪孽，就当远远地除掉，也不容非义住在你帐棚之中。

    If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.

15. 15

    那时，你必仰起脸来毫无斑点；你也必坚固，无所畏惧。

    这样，你就会抬起你没有斑点的脸来；是的，你会被稳固，没有畏惧；

    那时，你必仰起脸来毫无斑点；你也必坚固，无所惧怕。

    For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:

16. 16

    因为你必忘记你的困苦，就是想起也如流过去的水一样。

    因为你会忘记你的悲惨，想起它就像流过去的众水一样；

    你必忘记你的苦楚，就是想起也如流过去的水一样。

    Because thou shalt forget thy misery, and remember it as waters that pass away:

17. 17

    你的年岁要比正午更明，你必发出光来，如同早晨。

    你的年岁会比正午更明亮；你会发出光，你会像早晨一样。

    你在世的日子要比正午更明，虽有黑暗仍像早晨。

    And thine age shall be clearer than the noonday: thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning.

18. 18

    你因有指望就必稳固，也必四处巡查，坦然安息。

    因为有希望，你就会稳固；是的，你会在你周围挖掘，你又会在安全中得到你的休息。

    你因有指望就必稳固，也必四围巡查，坦然安息。

    And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety.

19. 19

    你躺下，无人惊吓，并有许多人向你求恩。

    还有，你躺下，没有能让你害怕的；是的，会有许多人向你讨好。

    你躺卧，无人惊吓，且有许多人向你求恩。

    Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee.

20. 20

    但恶人的眼睛必要失明。他们必不能逃；他们的指望就是交出灵。

    但邪恶者的眼睛会失败，他们不会逃脱，并且他们的希望就像交出了魄。

    但恶人的眼目必要失明。他们无路可逃；他们的指望就是气绝。”

    But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost.
