约西亚的儿子西底家代替约雅敬的儿子哥尼雅为王，是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒立在犹大地作王的。
约西亚的儿子泽迪基亚王代替耶和亚金的儿子扣尼亚统治，是巴比伦王尼布卡得尼扎使他在犹大的土地作王的。
约西亚的儿子西底家代替约雅敬的儿子哥尼雅为王，是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒立在犹大地作王的。
And king Zedekiah the son of Josiah reigned instead of Coniah the son of Jehoiakim, whom Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon made king in the land of Judah.

但他和他的众臣仆，并国中的百姓，都不听从耶和华借先知耶利米所说的话语。
但他和他的众仆人，并这土地的人民，都不听取主借预言者耶瑞米亚说的话语。
但西底家和他的臣仆，并国中的百姓，都不听从耶和华藉先知耶利米所说的话。
But neither he, nor his servants, nor the people of the land, did hearken unto the words of the LORD, which he spake by the prophet Jeremiah.

西底家王派示利米雅的儿子犹甲和祭司玛西雅的儿子西番雅去见先知耶利米，说，求你为我们祷告耶和华我们的神。
泽迪基亚王派示勒米亚的儿子耶户扣和祭司马西亚的儿子泽法尼亚去见预言者耶瑞米亚，说，为我们请求主我们的神吧。
西底家王打发示利米雅的儿子犹甲和祭司玛西雅的儿子西番雅去见先知耶利米，说：“求你为我们祷告耶和华我们的　神。”
And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest to the prophet Jeremiah, saying, Pray now unto the LORD our God for us.

那时耶利米在民中出入，因为他们还没有把他关在监里。
现在耶瑞米亚在人民当中进出；因为他们还没有把他关在监狱里。
那时耶利米在民中出入，因为他们还没有把他囚在监里。
Now Jeremiah came in and went out among the people: for they had not put him into prison.

法老的军队已经从埃及出来，那围困耶路撒冷的迦勒底人听见他们的风声，就拔营离开耶路撒冷去了。
那时法老的军队从埃及出来；当包围耶路撒冷的卡尔迪亚人听见他们的消息时，他们就离开了耶路撒冷。

Then Pharaoh's army was come forth out of Egypt: and when the Chaldeans that besieged Jerusalem heard tidings of them, they departed from Jerusalem.

耶和华的话临到先知耶利米说，
那时主的话来到预言者耶瑞米亚那里说，
耶和华的话临到先知耶利米说：
Then came the word of the LORD unto the prophet Jeremiah saying,

耶和华以色列的神如此说，犹大王派你们来求问我，你们要如此对他说，看啊，那出来帮助你们法老的军队必回埃及本国去。
主以色列的神这样说；你们要这样对派你们来问我的犹大王说；看啊，那出来帮助你们的法老的军队，会返回埃及他们自己的土地去。
“耶和华以色列的　神如此说：犹大王打发你们来求问我，你们要如此对他说：‘那出来帮助你们法老的军队必回埃及本国去。
Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say to the king of Judah, that sent you unto me to enquire of me; Behold, Pharaoh's army, which is come forth to help you, shall return to Egypt into their own land.

迦勒底人必再来攻打这城，并要攻取，用火焚烧。
卡尔迪亚人会再来攻打这城，并要夺取它，又用火焚烧它。
迦勒底人必再来攻打这城，并要攻取，用火焚烧。
And the Chaldeans shall come again, and fight against this city, and take it, and burn it with fire.

耶和华如此说，你们不要自欺说，迦勒底人必定离开我们，因为他们必不离开。
主这样说；你们不要欺骗自己，说，卡尔迪亚人一定会离开我们；因他们不会离开。
耶和华如此说：你们不要自欺说“迦勒底人必定离开我们”，因为他们必不离开。
Thus saith the LORD; Deceive not yourselves, saying, The Chaldeans shall surely depart from us: for they shall not depart.

你们即便杀败了与你们争战的迦勒底全军，但剩下受伤的人也必各人从帐篷里起来，用火焚烧这城。
因你们即使重击了与你们争战的卡尔迪亚全军，使他们当中仅留下些受伤的人，然而他们会从每个人的帐篷里起来，然后用火焚烧这城。
你们即便杀败了与你们争战的迦勒底全军，但剩下受伤的人也必各人从帐棚里起来，用火焚烧这城。’”
For though ye had smitten the whole army of the Chaldeans that fight against you, and there remained but wounded men among them, yet should they rise up every man in his tent, and burn this city with fire.

迦勒底的军队因法老军队的畏惧，拔营离开耶路撒冷的时候，
这样发生了，那时卡尔迪亚的军队因对法老军队的畏惧就从耶路撒冷被攻破了，

And it came to pass, that when the army of the Chaldeans was broken up from Jerusalem for fear of Pharaoh's army,

耶利米就杂在民中出离耶路撒冷，要往便雅悯地去，在那里得自己的地业。
于是耶瑞米亚就离开耶路撒冷出去进入了本雅明的土地里，要在那里把自己从人民当中分开。

Then Jeremiah went forth out of Jerusalem to go into the land of Benjamin, to separate himself thence in the midst of the people.

他到了便雅悯门那里，有守门官名叫伊利雅，他是示利米雅的儿子，哈拿尼亚的儿子；他就抓住先知耶利米，说，你是投降迦勒底人哪。
当他到了本雅明的大门那里，有守卫的军长，他的名叫埃瑞雅，他是示勒米亚的儿子，哈拿尼亚的儿子；他就抓住预言者耶瑞米亚，说，你想去向卡尔迪亚人投降。
他到了便雅悯门那里，有守门官名叫伊利雅，是哈拿尼亚的孙子、示利米雅的儿子，他就拿住先知耶利米，说：“你是投降迦勒底人哪！”
And when he was in the gate of Benjamin, a captain of the ward was there, whose name was Irijah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah; and he took Jeremiah the prophet, saying, Thou fallest away to the Chaldeans.

耶利米说，你这是谎话，我并不是投降迦勒底人。伊利雅不听他的话，就抓住他，解到首领那里。
然后耶瑞米亚说，这是假话；我并不是去投降卡尔迪亚人。但他不听取他的话；所以埃瑞雅就抓住耶瑞米亚，把他带到众王子那里。
耶利米说：“你这是谎话，我并不是投降迦勒底人。”伊利雅不听他的话，就拿住他，解到首领那里。
Then said Jeremiah, It is false; I fall not away to the Chaldeans. But he hearkened not to him: so Irijah took Jeremiah, and brought him to the princes.

首领恼怒耶利米，就打了他，将他关在文士约拿单的房屋中，因为他们以这房屋当作监狱。
所以众王子恼怒耶瑞米亚，并重击他，又把他关在抄写员约拿森的房子里；因为他们把那房子作为监狱。

Wherefore the princes were wroth with Jeremiah, and smote him, and put him in prison in the house of Jonathan the scribe: for they had made that the prison.

耶利米来到狱中，进入牢房，在那里逗留了许多天。
当耶瑞米亚进到牢中，进入了牢房，耶瑞米亚就在那里逗留了许多天；

When Jeremiah was entered into the dungeon, and into the cabins, and Jeremiah had remained there many days;

西底家王派人提出他来，在他的家里私下问他说，从耶和华有什么话临到没有？耶利米说，有。又说，你必被交在巴比伦王手中。
于是泽迪基亚王派人把他取出来；王在他的家里秘密地问他，说，有没有从主来的任何话？耶瑞米亚说，有；他说，你会被交在巴比伦王手中。
西底家王打发人提出他来，在自己的宫内私下问他说：“从耶和华有什么话临到没有？”耶利米说：“有！”又说：“你必交在巴比伦王手中。”
Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out: and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any word from the LORD? And Jeremiah said, There is: for, said he, thou shalt be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.

耶利米又对西底家王说，我在什么事上得罪你，或你的众臣仆，或这百姓，你竟将我关在监里呢？
此外，耶瑞米亚又对泽迪基亚王说，我在什么事上得罪了你，或得罪了你的众仆人，或得罪了这人民，你们把我放进监狱里呢？
耶利米又对西底家王说：“我在什么事上得罪你，或你的臣仆，或这百姓，你竟将我囚在监里呢？
Moreover Jeremiah said unto king Zedekiah, What have I offended against thee, or against thy servants, or against this people, that ye have put me in prison?

对你们预言巴比伦王必不来攻击你们和这地的众先知，现在在哪里呢？
对你们预言说巴比伦王不会来攻击你们和这土地的众预言者，他们现在在哪里？
对你们预言巴比伦王必不来攻击你们和这地的先知，现今在哪里呢？
Where are now your prophets which prophesied unto you, saying, The king of Babylon shall not come against you, nor against this land?

主我的王啊，求你现在听，准我在你面前的恳求：不要使我回到文士约拿单的房屋中，免得我死在那里。
因此，王我的主啊，我请求你现在听；我请求你，让我的祈求在你面前被接受；你不要把我送回到抄写员约拿森的房子里，以免我死在那里。
主我的王啊，求你现在垂听，准我在你面前的恳求：不要使我回到文士约拿单的房屋中，免得我死在那里。”
Therefore hear now, I pray thee, O my lord the king: let my supplication, I pray thee, be accepted before thee; that thou cause me not to return to the house of Jonathan the scribe, lest I die there.

于是，西底家王下令，他们就把耶利米交到监狱中，每天从饼铺街取一个饼给他，直到城中的饼用尽了。这样，耶利米仍在监狱中。
于是，泽迪基亚王命令他们把耶瑞米亚交接到监狱的院子里，每天从面包店街取一块饼给他，直到城里的所有饼都没有了。耶瑞米亚就这样留在了监狱的院子里。
于是，西底家王下令，他们就把耶利米交在护卫兵的院中，每天从饼铺街取一个饼给他，直到城中的饼用尽了。这样，耶利米仍在护卫兵的院中。
Then Zedekiah the king commanded that they should commit Jeremiah into the court of the prison, and that they should give him daily a piece of bread out of the bakers' street, until all the bread in the city were spent. Thus Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison.
