希西家王听见就撕裂衣服，披上麻布，进了耶和华的家，
这样发生了，当希泽基亚王听见这事，他就撕裂他的衣服，又披上麻布，进到主的家里，
希西家王听见就撕裂衣服，披上麻布，进了耶和华的殿，
And it came to pass, when king Hezekiah heard it, that he rent his clothes, and covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the LORD.

使家宰以利雅敬和书记舍伯那，并祭司中的长老，都披上麻布，去见亚摩斯的儿子先知以赛亚，
他叫管理这家的以利亚金，和抄写员示布拿，并众祭司中的众长者，都披上麻布，到阿摩茨的儿子，预言者以赛亚那里。
使家宰以利亚敬和书记舍伯那，并祭司中的长老，都披上麻布，去见亚摩斯的儿子先知以赛亚，
And he sent Eliakim, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests covered with sackcloth, unto Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz.

他们对他说，希西家如此说，今天是急难、责罚、亵渎的日子，就如生孩子，却没有力量生产。
他们对他说，希泽基亚这样说，今天是个困苦，斥责，亵渎的日子；因为孩子要出生，却没有强力产下。
对他说：“希西家如此说：‘今日是急难、责罚、凌辱的日子，就如妇人将要生产婴孩，却没有力量生产。
And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.

或者耶和华你的神听见拉伯沙基的话，就是他主人亚述王派他来辱骂活神的话；耶和华你的神听见这话就发斥责。因此，求你为余剩的民扬声祷告。
或许主你的神会听见拉布沙基的话语，就是他的主人阿叙利亚王派他来责备活着的神，主你的神就会斥责听见的那话语；所以，求你为剩下的人抬起你的祷告吧。
或者耶和华你的　神听见拉伯沙基的话，就是他主人亚述王打发他来辱骂永生　神的话；耶和华你的　神听见这话就发斥责。故此，求你为余剩的民扬声祷告。’”
It may be the LORD thy God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God, and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that is left.

希西家王的众仆人就去见以赛亚。
于是希泽基亚王的众仆人就来到以赛亚那里。

So the servants of king Hezekiah came to Isaiah.

以赛亚对他们说，要这样对你们的主人说，耶和华如此说，你听见亚述王的众仆人亵渎我的话，不要惧怕。
然后以赛亚对他们说，要这样对你们的主人说，主这样说，你听见阿叙利亚王的众仆人用来亵渎我的话语，不要害怕。
以赛亚对他们说：“要这样对你们的主人说，耶和华如此说：‘你听见亚述王的仆人亵渎我的话，不要惧怕。
And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

看啊，我必惊动他的心；他要听见风声就回到本地，我必使他在那里倒在剑下。
看啊，我要派一个惊吓到到他身上；他会听见一个风声，就返回他自己的土地去；我要使他在他自己的土地里倒在剑下。
我必惊动（原文是使灵进入）他的心；他要听见风声就归回本地，我必使他在那里倒在刀下。’”
Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumour, and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.

拉伯沙基回去，正遇见亚述王攻打立拿；因为他早听见亚述王拔营离开拉吉。
于是拉布沙基就回去了，然后发现阿叙利亚王正在攻打利布拿；因他听到阿叙利亚王离开了拉基示。

So Rabshakeh returned, and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah: for he had heard that he was departed from Lachish.

亚述王听见人关于埃塞俄比亚王特哈加说，他出来要与你争战。他一听见，就派众使者去见希西家，说，
关于埃塞俄比亚王特哈卡，阿叙利亚王听说了，他要出来对你发动战争。当他一听见，他就派众使者去见希泽基亚，说，
亚述王听见人论古实王特哈加说：“他出来要与你争战。”亚述王一听见，就打发使者去见希西家，吩咐他们说：
And he heard say concerning Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, He is come forth to make war with thee. And when he heard it, he sent messengers to Hezekiah, saying,

你们对犹大王希西家如此说，不要听你所信靠的神欺哄你说，耶路撒冷必不交在亚述王的手中。
你们要对犹大王希泽基亚这样讲，说，不要让你信靠的神欺骗你，说，耶路撒冷不会被交在阿叙利亚王的手中。
“你们对犹大王希西家如此说：‘不要听你所倚靠的　神欺哄你说：耶路撒冷必不交在亚述王的手中。
Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God, in whom thou trustest, deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

看啊，你总听说亚述众王向列国所行的是完全毁灭，难道你还能得救吗？
看啊，你已经听到阿叙利亚众王向所有土地做的彻底毁灭；难道你会被拯救？
你总听说亚述诸王向列国所行的乃是尽行灭绝，难道你还能得救吗？
Behold, thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands by destroying them utterly; and shalt thou be delivered?

我父辈所毁灭的，就是歌散、哈兰、利色，和在提拉撒的伊甸儿女；这些国的众神何曾拯救这些国呢？
我父辈毁灭的，就是歌赞，哈冉，瑞泽弗，和在提拉撒的伊甸孩子们；这些国家的众神拯救过他们吗？
我列祖所毁灭的，就是歌散、哈兰、利色，和属提·拉撒的伊甸人；这些国的神何曾拯救这些国呢？
Have the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers have destroyed, as Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which were in Telassar?

哈马的王，亚珥拔的王，西法瓦音城的王，希拿和以瓦的王，都在哪里呢？
哈马斯的王，阿帕得的王，塞法卫姆城的王，希拿和埃瓦的王，都在哪里？
哈马的王，亚珥拔的王，西法瓦音城的王，希拿和以瓦的王，都在哪里呢？’”
Where is the king of Hamath, and the king of Arphad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivah?

希西家从众使者手里接过书信来，看完了，就上耶和华的家，将书信在耶和华面前展开。
希泽基亚从众使者手里接过信来，读了它；希泽基亚就上到主的家，把它在主面前展开。

And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up unto the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD.

希西家向耶和华祷告说，

希西家向耶和华祷告说：
And Hezekiah prayed unto the LORD, saying,

住在二基路伯中间的万军之耶和华以色列的神啊，你唯有你是地上万国的神，你造了天地。
住在众基路伯之间的，众军的主，以色列的神啊，你，只有你，是这地的所有王国的神；你造了天和地。
“坐在二基路伯上万军之耶和华以色列的　神啊，你，惟有你，是天下万国的　神，你曾创造天地。
O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.
17
耶和华啊，侧耳而听；耶和华啊，睁眼而看，要听西拿基立的一切话，他是那派人辱骂活神的。
主啊，倾过你的耳，听吧；主啊，睁开你的眼睛看吧，听森拿克瑞布传来的，谴责活着的神的所有话语。
耶和华啊，求你侧耳而听；耶和华啊，求你睁眼而看，要听西拿基立的一切话，他是打发使者来辱骂永生　神的。
Incline thine ear, O LORD, and hear; open thine eyes, O LORD, and see: and hear all the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent to reproach the living God.

耶和华啊，亚述众王果然使列国和列国之地变为荒凉，
主，事实上，阿叙利亚众王已经使各国和他们的地区都荒废了，
耶和华啊，亚述诸王果然使列国和列国之地变为荒凉，
Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations, and their countries,

将他们的众神都扔在火里；因为它们不是神，而是人手所造的，是木头、石头的，所以他们毁灭了它们。
又把他们的众神都扔在了火里；因它们不是神，而是人手的工作，是木头和石头；因此他们毁灭了它们。

And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them.

耶和华我们的神啊，现在救我们脱离亚述王的手，使地上万国都知道唯有你是耶和华。
因此，主我们的神啊，现在救我们脱离他的手，使这地的所有王国都可以知道你是主，只有你是。
耶和华我们的　神啊，现在求你救我们脱离亚述王的手，使天下万国都知道惟有你是耶和华。”
Now therefore, O LORD our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD, even thou only.

亚摩斯的儿子以赛亚就派人去见希西家，说，耶和华以色列的神如此说，你既然求我攻击亚述王西拿基立，
于是阿摩茨的儿子以赛亚就派人到希泽基亚那里，说，主以色列的神这样说，既然你针对阿叙利亚王森拿克瑞布请求我；
亚摩斯的儿子以赛亚就打发人去见希西家，说：“耶和华以色列的　神如此说，你既然求我攻击亚述王西拿基立，
Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent unto Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Whereas thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria:

所以耶和华这样说到他：童女，锡安的女儿藐视你，嗤笑你；耶路撒冷的女儿向你摇头。
这是主已经说出的关于他的话；这处女，锡安的女儿，已经藐视你，又笑你以致鄙视；耶路撒冷的女儿已经向你摇头。
所以耶和华论他这样说：锡安的处女藐视你，嗤笑你；耶路撒冷的女子向你摇头。
This is the word which the LORD hath spoken concerning him; The virgin, the daughter of Zion, hath despised thee, and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.

你辱骂谁，亵渎谁？扬起声来，高举眼睛攻击谁呢？是攻击以色列的圣者。
你辱骂和亵渎的是谁？你抬高你的声音，又向高处抬起你的眼睛针对的是谁？就是针对以色列的神圣者。
“你辱骂谁，亵渎谁？扬起声来，高举眼目攻击谁呢？乃是攻击以色列的圣者。
Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.

你借你的臣仆辱骂主说，我率领许多战车上山顶，到黎巴嫩极深之处；我要砍伐其中高大的香柏树和佳美的松树。我必上他边界的高处，进入迦密的树林。
你借你的众仆人辱骂主，还说，我以我众多的战车上到群山的高处，到了黎巴嫩的旁边；我要砍下其中高大的雪松树和其中选择的杉树；我要进入他边界的高处，又到他卡梅尔的森林。
你藉你的臣仆辱骂主说：我率领许多战车上山顶，到黎巴嫩极深之处；我要砍伐其中高大的香柏树和佳美的松树。我必上极高之处，进入肥田的树林。
By thy servants hast thou reproached the Lord, and hast said, By the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the height of his border, and the forest of his Carmel.

我已经挖井喝水；我必用脚掌踏干被围困之地的一切河。
我已经挖了，并喝了水；我又用我的脚掌踏干被包围的地方一切的河。
我已经挖井喝水；我必用脚掌踏干埃及的一切河。
I have digged, and drunk water; and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of the besieged places.

你难道没有听见我早先所作的、古时所立的吗？现在借你使坚固城荒废，变为乱堆。
你难道没有听见很久以前，我是怎么做这事的；还有古老的时候我是怎么塑这事的？现在我已经使它发生了，就是你会使那些有防卫的众城荒废，变成乱堆。
“耶和华说：你岂没有听见我早先所做的、古时所立的吗？现在藉你使坚固城荒废，变为乱堆。
Hast thou not heard long ago, how I have done it; and of ancient times, that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste defenced cities into ruinous heaps.
27
所以其中的居民力量很小，惊惶羞愧。他们像野草，像青菜，如房顶上的草，又如田间未长成的禾稼。
因此他们居民的权力小，他们沮丧又羞耻；他们就像田地的草，又像绿药草，像房顶上的草，又像长大之前被疾风吹走的谷。
所以其中的居民力量甚小，惊惶羞愧。他们像野草，像青菜，如房顶上的草，又如田间未长成的禾稼。
Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded: they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as corn blasted before it be grown up.

你坐下，你出去，你进来，你向我发烈怒，我都知道。
但我知道你的居所，你的出去，你的进来，和你针对我的暴怒。
“你坐下，你出去，你进来，你向我发烈怒，我都知道。
But I know thy abode, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy rage against me.

因你向我发烈怒，又因你喧嚷的话达到我耳中，我就要用钩子钩上你的鼻子，把嚼环放在你唇中，使你从原路转回去。
因为你针对我的暴怒，又因你的骚乱已经上来进入我耳中，因此我要把我的钩子放在你的鼻子里，又把我的嚼环放在你的嘴唇里，然后我要从你来的路把你转回去。
因你向我发烈怒，又因你狂傲的话达到我耳中，我就要用钩子钩上你的鼻子，把嚼环放在你口里，使你从原路转回去。
Because thy rage against me, and thy tumult, is come up into mine ears, therefore will I put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.

以色列人哪，我给你们一个迹象：你们今年要吃自生的，明年也要吃自长的，至于后年，你们要耕种收割，栽植葡萄园，吃其中的果子。
这要成为给你的一个迹象，你们今年会吃它自己长的；第二年吃从那同样的长出的；在第三年，你们要播种，收割，并种植葡萄园，又吃其中的果子。
“以色列人哪，我赐你们一个证据：你们今年要吃自生的，明年也要吃自长的，至于后年，你们要耕种收割，栽植葡萄园，吃其中的果子。
And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such as groweth of itself; and the second year that which springeth of the same: and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit thereof.

犹大家所逃脱余剩的，仍要往下扎根，向上结果。
犹大家逃脱剩下的，要再次往下扎根，向上结果；
犹大家所逃脱余剩的，仍要往下扎根，向上结果。
And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward:
32
必有余剩的民从耶路撒冷而出；必有逃脱的人从锡安山而来。万军之耶和华的热心必成就这事。
因会有余剩的人从耶路撒冷出来，又有从锡安山逃出来的人；众军的主的热心会做这事。
必有余剩的民从耶路撒冷而出；必有逃脱的人从锡安山而来。万军之耶和华的热心必成就这事。
For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.
33
所以耶和华关于亚述王如此说，他必不能来到这城，也不在这里射箭，不能拿盾牌到城前，也不筑垒攻城。
因此主关于阿叙利亚王这样说，他不会进入这城，也不会在那里射一箭，不会带着盾牌到城前，也不会筑起土垒攻城。
“所以耶和华论亚述王如此说：他必不得来到这城，也不在这里射箭，不得拿盾牌到城前，也不筑垒攻城。
Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank against it.
34
他从哪条路来，必从那条路回去，必不能来到这城。这是耶和华说的。
他从哪条道路来，也要从哪条道路回去，不会进入这城，这是主说的。
他从哪条路来，必从那条路回去，必不得来到这城。这是耶和华说的。
By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith the LORD.
35
因我为自己的缘故，又为我仆人大卫的缘故，必保护拯救这城。
因我要为自己的缘故，又为我仆人大卫的缘故，保卫这城搭救它。
因我为自己的缘故，又为我仆人大卫的缘故，必保护拯救这城。”
For I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.
36
耶和华的天使出去，在亚述营中杀了十八万五千人。清早有人起来一看，都是死尸了。
于是主的天使出去，在阿叙利亚营地中猛击了十八万五千人；当他们清晨起来，看啊，他们全都成了死尸。

Then the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.

亚述王西拿基立就拔营回去，住在尼尼微。
所以阿叙利亚王森拿克瑞布就离开了，回去了，并住在尼尼微。

So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh.

一天在他的神尼斯洛的家里敬拜，他的儿子亚得米勒和沙利色用剑杀了他，就逃到亚拉腊地。他儿子以撒哈顿接替他统治。
这样发生了，他正在他的神尼斯若克的家里敬拜，他的众子阿得冉米勒克和沙瑞泽用剑重击他；然后他们就逃跑进到阿米尼亚的土地里；然后他的儿子以撒哈顿接替他统治。
一日在他的神尼斯洛庙里叩拜，他儿子亚得米勒和沙利色用刀杀了他，就逃到亚拉腊地。他儿子以撒哈顿接续他作王。
And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Armenia: and Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead.
