1. 1

   以色列儿女哪，你们要听耶和华的话。耶和华与这地的居民争辩，因这地上无真理，无怜悯，也无神的知识。

   你们以色列孩子们，听主的话；主与这土地的居民有了一个争议，因为这土地里既没有真理，也没有怜悯，又没有神的知识。

   “以色列人哪，你们当听耶和华的话。耶和华与这地的居民争辩，因这地上无诚实，无良善，无人认识　神。

   Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.

2. 2

   但起假誓，说谎，杀害，偷盗，奸淫，行强暴，杀人流血，接连不断。

   借着发假誓，说谎，杀害，偷窃，犯奸淫，他们突破了，并且血挨着血。

   但起假誓，不践前言，杀害，偷盗，奸淫，行强暴，杀人流血，接连不断。

   By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.

3. 3

   因此，这地悲哀，其上的民、田野的兽、天上的飞禽必都衰微，海中的鱼也必消灭。

   因此，这土地会哀悼，住在其中的每一样都会受煎熬，包括田地的兽，和天上的飞禽；是的，海中的鱼也会被拿走。

   因此，这地悲哀，其上的民、田野的兽、空中的鸟必都衰微，海中的鱼也必消灭。”

   Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.

4. 4

   然而，人都不必相争，也不必相互指责，因为这民与跟祭司相争的人一样。

   然而，让人不用竞争，也不用互相指责；因你的人民就像那些跟祭司竞争的人一样。

   “然而，人都不必争辩，也不必指责，因为这民与抗拒祭司的人一样。

   Yet let no man strive, nor reprove another: for thy people are as they that strive with the priest.

5. 5

   所以你这祭司必白天跌倒；先知也必夜间与你一起跌倒；我必毁灭你的母亲。

   因此你会在白天跌倒，预言者也会在夜里与你一起跌倒，我又要毁灭你的母亲。

   你这祭司必日间跌倒；先知也必夜间与你一同跌倒；我必灭绝你的母亲。

   Therefore shalt thou fall in the day, and the prophet also shall fall with thee in the night, and I will destroy thy mother.

6. 6

   我的民因无知识而灭亡。你弃掉知识，我也必弃掉你，使你不再给我作祭司。你既忘了你神的律法，我也必忘记你的儿女。

   我的人民因知识的缺乏而被毁灭；因为你拒绝了知识，我也要拒绝你，使你不会再为我作祭司；既然你已经忘了你的神的法律，我也要忘记你的孩子们。

   我的民因无知识而灭亡。你弃掉知识，我也必弃掉你，使你不再给我作祭司。你既忘了你　神的律法，我也必忘记你的儿女。

   My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

7. 7

   他们越发增多，就越发得罪我；因此我必使他们的荣耀变为羞辱。

   他们怎样增多，他们也怎样针对我犯罪；因此我要使他们的荣耀变成羞愧。

   祭司越发增多，就越发得罪我；我必使他们的荣耀变为羞辱。

   As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame.

8. 8

   他们吃尽我民的赎罪祭，满心愿意我民犯罪。

   他们吃光了我的人民的罪，并且他们把心立定在他们的罪过上。

   他们吃我民的赎罪祭，满心愿意我民犯罪。

   They eat up the sin of my people, and they set their heart on their iniquity.

9. 9

   将来民如何，祭司也必如何；我必因他们所行的惩罚他们，照他们所作的报应他们。

   会这样，人民怎样，祭司也怎样；我要因他们的众道路而惩罚他们，又照他们的做法奖赏他们。

   将来民如何，祭司也必如何；我必因他们所行的惩罚他们，照他们所做的报应他们。

   And there shall be, like people, like priest: and I will punish them for their ways, and reward them their doings.

10. 10

    他们吃，却不能饱；行淫，而不能立后；因为他们离弃耶和华，不遵他的命。

    因他们会吃，却不够；他们会犯淫乱，却不会增加；因为他们已经离弃了去留意主这件事。

    他们吃，却不得饱；行淫，而不得立后；因为他们离弃耶和华，不遵他的命。”

    For they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not increase: because they have left off to take heed to the LORD.

11. 11

    奸淫和酒，并新酒，夺去了心。

    淫乱和酒并新酒，夺走了心。

    “奸淫和酒，并新酒，夺去人的心。

    Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the heart.

12. 12

    我的民求问木偶，以为木杖能指示他们；因为他们淫乱的灵使他们失迷，他们就行淫离弃神，不守约束，

    我的人民去向木桩要建议，然后他们的木棍就向他们申明；因淫乱的灵已经致使他们犯错，他们就从他们的神下面走开去成了一个娼妓。

    我的民求问木偶，以为木杖能指示他们；因为他们的淫心使他们失迷，他们就行淫离弃　神，不守约束，

    My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God.

13. 13

    在各山顶，各高冈的橡树、杨树、榆树之下，献祭烧香，因为树影美好。所以，你们的女儿们淫乱，你们的配偶们行淫。

    他们在各山顶上祭祀，并在各山丘上的橡树下，和杨树并榆树下烧香，因为其阴影是好的；因此，你们的女儿们会犯淫乱，你们的配偶们又会犯奸淫。

    在各山顶，各高冈的橡树、杨树、栗树之下，献祭烧香，因为树影美好。“所以，你们的女儿淫乱，你们的新妇（或译：儿妇；下同）行淫。

    They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and poplars and elms, because the shadow thereof is good: therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery.

14. 14

    你们的女儿们淫乱，你们的配偶们行淫，我却不惩罚她们；因为他们自己分开与娼妓在一起，与妓女一起献祭。因此这无知的民必致跌倒。

    当你们的女儿们犯淫乱，你们的配偶们犯奸淫时，我不会惩罚她们；因他们与众娼妓一起分开她们自己，又与众妓女一起祭祀；因此这不领悟的人民会跌倒。

    你们的女儿淫乱，你们的新妇行淫，我却不惩罚她们；因为你们自己离群与娼妓同居，与妓女一同献祭。这无知的民必致倾倒。

    I will not punish your daughters when they commit whoredom, nor your spouses when they commit adultery: for themselves are separated with whores, and they sacrifice with harlots: therefore the people that doth not understand shall fall.

15. 15

    以色列啊，你虽然行淫，犹大却不能犯罪。不要往吉甲去，不要上到伯亚文，也不要起誓，耶和华活着。

    以色列，你虽然扮演妓女，仍然不让犹大冒犯；你们不来到基尔高，既不上去到贝撒文，也不发誓说，主活着。

    “以色列啊，你虽然行淫，犹大却不可犯罪。不要往吉甲去，不要上到伯·亚文，也不要指着永生的耶和华起誓。

    Though thou, Israel, play the harlot, yet let not Judah offend; and come not ye unto Gilgal, neither go ye up to Bethaven, nor swear, The LORD liveth.

16. 16

    以色列背道，犹如背离的母牛；现在耶和华要放他们，如同放羊羔在宽阔之地。

    因以色列背道，像一头倒退的母牛；现在主要在一个宽阔的地方喂养他们，像一只羊羔。

    以色列倔强，犹如倔强的母牛；现在耶和华要放他们，如同放羊羔在宽阔之地。

    For Israel slideth back as a backsliding heifer: now the LORD will feed them as a lamb in a large place.

17. 17

    以法莲亲近偶像，任凭他吧。

    以弗瑞加入到了众偶像；由他吧。

    “以法莲亲近偶像，任凭他吧！

    Ephraim is joined to idols: let him alone.

18. 18

    他们所喝的都是酸的，他们时常行淫，她的官长最爱羞耻的事，给你们吧。

    他们喝的是酸的；他们持续地犯淫乱；她的管理者们以羞耻去爱，就给你们。

    他们所喝的已经发酸，他们时常行淫，他们的官长最爱羞耻的事。

    Their drink is sour: they have committed whoredom continually: her rulers with shame do love, Give ye.

19. 19

    风把她裹在翅膀里；他们因所献的祭必致蒙羞。

    风已经把她捆绑在她的翅膀里，他们又会因为他们的牺牲物被羞辱。

    风把他们裹在翅膀里；他们因所献的祭必致蒙羞。”

    The wind hath bound her up in her wings, and they shall be ashamed because of their sacrifices.
