   大流士王第二年六月初一，耶和华的话借先知哈该向犹大省长撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚说，

   在达瑞斯王第二年，第六个月的第一天，主的话借预言者哈该向犹大的执政官示阿铁尔的儿子泽如巴贝尔，和约瑟代克的儿子大祭司约书亚说，

   大流士王第二年六月初一日，耶和华的话藉先知哈该向犹大省长撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚说：

   In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying,

   万军之耶和华如此说，这百姓说，建造耶和华家的时候尚未来到。

   众军之主这样讲，说，这人民说，主的家被建造的时间还没有来到。

   万军之耶和华如此说：“这百姓说，建造耶和华殿的时候尚未来到。”

   Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD's house should be built.

   那时耶和华的话临到先知哈该说，

   于是主的话借着预言者哈该来到，说，

   那时耶和华的话临到先知哈该说：

   Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,

   这家仍然荒废，难道是你们自己住有天花板房屋的时候吗？

   你们啊，这个家是荒废的，难道这是你们住进你们有顶的房子里的时间？

   “这殿仍然荒凉，你们自己还住天花板的房屋吗？

   Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?

   现在万军之耶和华如此说，你们要省察自己的行为。

   因此，现在众军之主这样说；细想你们的众道路。

   现在万军之耶和华如此说：你们要省察自己的行为。

   Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.

6. 6

   你们撒的种多，收的却少；你们吃，却不能饱；喝，却不能满足；穿衣服，却不暖和；得工钱的，将工钱装在破漏的囊中。

   你们播种的多，收入的少；你们吃，但没有饱；你们喝，但你们没有喝满足；你们穿衣服，但没有暖和；挣报酬的人，他把报酬装在一个有洞的袋子里。

   你们撒的种多，收的却少；你们吃，却不得饱；喝，却不得足；穿衣服，却不得暖；得工钱的，将工钱装在破漏的囊中。”

   Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.

   万军之耶和华如此说，你们要省察自己的行为。

   众军之主这样说；细想你们的众道路。

   万军之耶和华如此说：“你们要省察自己的行为。

   Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.

8. 8

   你们要上山取木料，建造这家，我就因此喜乐，并且被荣耀。这是耶和华说的。

   去上山，带来木料，建造这家；我要在它里面享乐，我又要被荣耀，这是主说的。

   你们要上山取木料，建造这殿，我就因此喜乐，且得荣耀。这是耶和华说的。

   Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.

9. 9

   你们盼望多得，看啊，所得的却少；你们收到家中，我就吹去。这是为什么呢？因为我的家荒废，你们各人却奔向他自己的家。这是万军之耶和华说的。

   你们寻找的多，瞧，它来到的少；当你们把它带到家的时候，我就吹走了。为什么？因为我的家是荒废的，你们各人却奔向他自己的家，这是众军之主说的。

   你们盼望多得，所得的却少；你们收到家中，我就吹去。这是为什么呢？因为我的殿荒凉，你们各人却顾（原文是奔）自己的房屋。这是万军之耶和华说的。

   Ye looked for much, and, lo it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.

10. 10

    所以你们上面的天就不降甘露，地也不出果子。

    因此，你们上面的天就止住露水，这地也止住她的果子。

    所以为你们的缘故，天就不降甘露，地也不出土产。

    Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit.

11. 11

    我召干旱临到地土、众山、谷物、新酒，和油，并地上的出产、人民、牲畜，以及人手一切劳碌得来的。

    然后我叫了一个旱灾到土地上，到群山上，到谷上，到新酒上，到油上，到地面出产的东西上，到人身上，到牲畜身上，以及手的所有劳动上。

    我命干旱临到地土、山冈、五谷、新酒，和油，并地上的出产、人民、牲畜，以及人手一切劳碌得来的。”

    And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands.

    那时，撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚，并剩下的百姓，都听从耶和华他们神的声音和先知哈该奉耶和华他们神差来所说的话；百姓也在耶和华面前畏惧。

    于是，示阿铁尔的儿子泽如巴贝尔，和约瑟代克的儿子大祭司约书亚，并所有剩下的人民，都听从了主他们神的声音和哈该的话语，就是他作为主他们的神派来的预言者说的，人民又在主面前畏惧。

    那时，撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚，并剩下的百姓，都听从耶和华他们　神的话和先知哈该奉耶和华他们　神差来所说的话；百姓也在耶和华面前存敬畏的心。

    Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the LORD.

13. 13

    耶和华的使者哈该，奉耶和华差对百姓说，耶和华说，我与你们同在。

    于是主的使者哈该，在主的信息里，对人民说，主说，我与你们在一起。

    耶和华的使者哈该奉耶和华差遣对百姓说：“耶和华说：我与你们同在。”

    Then spake Haggai the LORD's messenger in the LORD's message unto the people, saying, I am with you, saith the LORD.

14. 14

    耶和华激动犹大省长撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯的灵和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚的灵，并剩下一切百姓的灵，他们就来为万军之耶和华他们神的家工作。

    然后主就激起犹大的执政官示阿铁尔的儿子泽如巴贝尔的灵和约瑟代克的儿子大祭司约书亚的灵，并所有剩下的人民的灵；他们就来，并在众军之主他们的神的家里工作，

    耶和华激动犹大省长撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚，并剩下之百姓的心，他们就来为万军之耶和华他们　神的殿做工。

    And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the LORD of hosts, their God,
