   这些事以后，在波斯王亚达薛西统治时。以斯拉，是西莱雅的儿子，西莱雅是亚撒利雅的儿子，亚撒利雅是希勒家的儿子，

   这些事以后，在波斯王阿他塞克西斯统治时，埃兹拉是瑟莱亚的儿子，阿扎瑞亚的儿子，希基亚的儿子，

   这事以后，波斯王亚达薛西年间，有个以斯拉，他是西莱雅的儿子，西莱雅是亚撒利雅的儿子，亚撒利雅是希勒家的儿子，

   Now after these things, in the reign of Artaxerxes king of Persia, Ezra the son of Seraiah, the son of Azariah, the son of Hilkiah,

   希勒家是沙龙的儿子，沙龙是撒督的儿子，撒督是亚希突的儿子，

   沙尔鲁姆的儿子，扎多克的儿子，阿希图布的儿子，

   希勒家是沙龙的儿子，沙龙是撒督的儿子，撒督是亚希突的儿子，

   The son of Shallum, the son of Zadok, the son of Ahitub,

   The son of Amariah, the son of Azariah, the son of Meraioth,

   The son of Zerahiah, the son of Uzzi, the son of Bukki,

   The son of Abishua, the son of Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the chief priest:

   这以斯拉从巴比伦上来，他是敏捷的文士，通达耶和华以色列神给摩西的律法。王应允他一切的要求，是因耶和华他神的手在他身上。

   这个从巴比伦上来的埃兹拉；他是个预备好的抄写员，通达以色列的主神给摩西的法律；还有王准许他一切的要求，就是按照主他神的手放在他身上的。

   这以斯拉从巴比伦上来，他是敏捷的文士，通达耶和华以色列　神所赐摩西的律法书。王允准他一切所求的，是因耶和华他　神的手帮助他。

   This Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the LORD God of Israel had given: and the king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the LORD his God upon him.

7. 7

   亚达薛西王第七年，以色列人、祭司、利未人、歌唱的、守门的、尼提宁，有上耶路撒冷的。

   在阿他塞克西斯王的第七年，有一些以色列孩子们，一些祭司，利未人，歌者，门卫，拿斯尼姆人，上了耶路撒冷。

   亚达薛西王第七年，以色列人、祭司、利未人、歌唱的、守门的、尼提宁，有上耶路撒冷的。

   And there went up some of the children of Israel, and of the priests, and the Levites, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, unto Jerusalem, in the seventh year of Artaxerxes the king.

   王第七年五月，以斯拉到了耶路撒冷。

   在王的第七年的第五个月里，他来到耶路撒冷。

   And he came to Jerusalem in the fifth month, which was in the seventh year of the king.

9. 9

   正月初一，他从巴比伦起程，因他神施恩的手帮助他，五月初一就到了耶路撒冷。

   因第一个月的第一天，他从巴比伦起程，照着放在他身上，他的神的美好之手，于第五个月的第一天来到了耶路撒冷。

   正月初一日，他从巴比伦起程；因他　神施恩的手帮助他，五月初一日就到了耶路撒冷。

   For upon the first day of the first month began he to go up from Babylon, and on the first day of the fifth month came he to Jerusalem, according to the good hand of his God upon him.

    以斯拉预备他的心，寻求、遵行耶和华的律法，又在以色列中教导律例典章。

    因埃兹拉预备他的心，寻求主的法律，并去做它，又在以色列教导法规和判决。

    以斯拉定志考究遵行耶和华的律法，又将律例典章教训以色列人。

    For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.

11. 11

    这是亚达薛西王给祭司以斯拉的信，他是通达耶和华诫命和他给以色列之律例的文士。上面写着说，

    这是阿他塞克西斯王给祭司埃兹拉的信的拷贝，他是通达主的诫命和他给以色列的法规的话语的抄写员。

    祭司以斯拉是通达耶和华诫命和赐以色列之律例的文士。亚达薛西王赐给他们谕旨，上面写着说：

    Now this is the copy of the letter that the king Artaxerxes gave unto Ezra the priest, the scribe, even a scribe of the words of the commandments of the LORD, and of his statutes to Israel.

    众王之王亚达薛西，答复祭司以斯拉，他是通晓天上神之律法的一个文士，和完全的平安等等。

    众王之王阿他塞克西斯，致祭司埃兹拉，他是天上之神的法律的一个抄写员，完美的和平，等等。

    “诸王之王亚达薛西，达于祭司以斯拉通达天上　神律法大德的文士，云云。

    Artaxerxes, king of kings, unto Ezra the priest, a scribe of the law of the God of heaven, perfect peace, and at such a time.

13. 13

    我下命令，住在我领地中的以色列人、祭司、利未人，凡乐意上耶路撒冷去的，准他们与你一起去。

    我定了一个法令，住在我领地里的所有以色列人民，祭司，利未人，他们自己乐意上耶路撒冷去的，可以与你一起去。

    住在我国中的以色列人、祭司、利未人，凡甘心上耶路撒冷去的，我降旨准他们与你同去。

    I make a decree, that all they of the people of Israel, and of his priests and Levites, in my realm, which are minded of their own freewill to go up to Jerusalem, go with thee.

14. 14

    王与七个谋士既然差你去，照你手中神的律法书察问犹大和耶路撒冷的景况，

    鉴于王与他的七个议士派你，按照你手里的神的法律书，去询问犹大和耶路撒冷的景况；

    王与七个谋士既然差你去，照你手中　神的律法书察问犹大和耶路撒冷的景况；

    Forasmuch as thou art sent of the king, and of his seven counsellors, to enquire concerning Judah and Jerusalem, according to the law of thy God which is in thine hand;

15. 15

    又带金银，就是王和谋士甘心献给住耶路撒冷、以色列神的，

    并且带着银子和金子，就是王和众议士自愿祭祀给以色列的神，他的居所在耶路撒冷里，

    又带金银，就是王和谋士甘心献给住耶路撒冷、以色列　神的，

    And to carry the silver and gold, which the king and his counsellors have freely offered unto the God of Israel, whose habitation is in Jerusalem,

16. 16

    并带你在巴比伦全省所得的金银，和百姓、祭司乐意献给耶路撒冷他们神家的礼物。

    并带着你在巴比伦所有的省获得的所有银子和金子，还有人民和众祭司的自由祭，乐意地给他们在耶路撒冷里的神的家祭祀；

    并带你在巴比伦全省所得的金银，和百姓、祭司乐意献给耶路撒冷他们　神殿的礼物。

    And all the silver and gold that thou canst find in all the province of Babylon, with the freewill offering of the people, and of the priests, offering willingly for the house of their God which is in Jerusalem:

17. 17

    所以你应当用这金银，急速买公牛、公绵羊、绵羊羔，和同献的素祭奠祭之物，献在耶路撒冷你们神家的坛上。

    所以你可以用这钱，迅速去买公牛，公绵羊，绵羊羔，并它们的食物祭和饮品祭，然后在耶路撒冷里的你们神家的坛上祭祀。

    所以你当用这金银，急速买公牛、公绵羊、绵羊羔，和同献的素祭奠祭之物，献在耶路撒冷你们　神殿的坛上。

    That thou mayest buy speedily with this money bullocks, rams, lambs, with their meat offerings and their drink offerings, and offer them upon the altar of the house of your God which is in Jerusalem.

18. 18

    剩下的金银，你和你的弟兄看着怎样好，就怎样用，总要遵着你们神的旨意。

    其余的银子和金子，无论你和你的弟兄们看什么好，就照着你们的神的意愿去做。

    剩下的金银，你和你的弟兄看着怎样好，就怎样用，总要遵着你们　神的旨意。

    And whatsoever shall seem good to thee, and to thy brethren, to do with the rest of the silver and the gold, that do after the will of your God.

19. 19

    所交给你神家中服侍用的器皿，你要交在耶路撒冷的神面前。

    交给你的用在神家中的服务的那些器皿，你要交在耶路撒冷的神面前。

    所交给你　神殿中使用的器皿，你要交在耶路撒冷　神面前。

    The vessels also that are given thee for the service of the house of thy God, those deliver thou before the God of Jerusalem.

20. 20

    你神的家里若再有需用的经费，你可以从王的府库里支取。

    你的神的家的需要，无论多少，你有机会使用的话，就从王的宝库中拿来使用。

    你　神殿里若再有需用的经费，你可以从王的府库里支取。

    And whatsoever more shall be needful for the house of thy God, which thou shalt have occasion to bestow, bestow it out of the king's treasure house.

21. 21

    我亚达薛西王下命令给河西的一切库官，说，天上神律法的文士，祭司以斯拉，无论向你们要什么，你们要马上办，

    我阿他塞克西斯王定了一个法令给超越这河的所有财务员，说，天上之神的法律的抄写员，祭司埃兹拉，无论向你们要求什么，要迅速完成，

    “我亚达薛西王又降旨与河西的一切库官，说：‘通达天上　神律法的文士祭司以斯拉，无论向你们要什么，你们要速速地备办，

    And I, even I Artaxerxes the king, do make a decree to all the treasurers which are beyond the river, that whatsoever Ezra the priest, the scribe of the law of the God of heaven, shall require of you, it be done speedily,

22. 22

    就是银子直到一百塔兰特，麦子一百柯珥，酒一百罢特，油一百罢特，盐不计其数，也要给他。

    就是一百塔兰特银子，一百科耳麦子，一百罢特酒，一百罢特油，不计其数的盐，也要给他。

    就是银子直到一百他连得，麦子一百柯珥，酒一百罢特，油一百罢特，盐不计其数，也要给他。

    Unto an hundred talents of silver, and to an hundred measures of wheat, and to an hundred baths of wine, and to an hundred baths of oil, and salt without prescribing how much.

23. 23

    凡天上之神所命令的，应当为天上神的家详细办理。为什么使愤怒临到王和他众子的领地呢？

    无论天上之神的命令的是什么，都要为天上之神的家认真办理；为什么要有怒火攻击王和他众子的领地呢？

    凡天上之　神所吩咐的，当为天上　神的殿详细办理。为何使忿怒临到王和王众子的国呢？

    Whatsoever is commanded by the God of heaven, let it be diligently done for the house of the God of heaven: for why should there be wrath against the realm of the king and his sons?

24. 24

    我们还要告知你们，至于祭司、利未人、歌唱的、守门的，和尼提宁，并在神家做仆人的，不能叫他们交费，进贡，纳税。

    我们还要向你们证实，至于任何祭司，利未人，歌者，门卫，拿斯尼姆人，在神家做服侍的，让他们交费，进贡，纳税都是不合法的。

    我又晓谕你们，至于祭司、利未人、歌唱的、守门的，和尼提宁，并在　神殿当差的人，不可叫他们进贡，交课，纳税。’

    Also we certify you, that touching any of the priests and Levites, singers, porters, Nethinims, or ministers of this house of God, it shall not be lawful to impose toll, tribute, or custom, upon them.

25. 25

    以斯拉啊，你要照着放在你手中你神的智慧，将所有明白你神律法的人立为地方官和审判官，治理河西的百姓，使他们教训一切不明白神律法的人。

    埃兹拉，你要跟随你的神的智慧，就是那放在你手里的，把所有知道你神的法律的人立为地方官和审判官，审判超越这河的人民；并且你们要教导不知道他们的人们。

    “以斯拉啊，要照着你　神赐你的智慧，将所有明白你　神律法的人立为士师、审判官，治理河西的百姓，使他们教训一切不明白　神律法的人。

    And thou, Ezra, after the wisdom of thy God, that is in thine hand, set magistrates and judges, which may judge all the people that are beyond the river, all such as know the laws of thy God; and teach ye them that know them not.

26. 26

    凡不遵行你神律法和王命令的人就应当马上定他的罪，或治死，或充军，或抄家，或囚禁。

    无论谁不愿意去做你的神和王的法律的，就让判决立刻在他身上被执行，或处死，或放逐，或没收财产，或囚禁。

    凡不遵行你　神律法和王命令的人就当速速定他的罪，或治死，或充军，或抄家，或囚禁。”

    And whosoever will not do the law of thy God, and the law of the king, let judgment be executed speedily upon him, whether it be unto death, or to banishment, or to confiscation of goods, or to imprisonment.

27. 27

    耶和华我们父辈的神是应当称颂的，就是那把这事放在王的心里，要来装饰耶路撒冷耶和华的家的；

    我们父辈的主神是蒙福的，他把这事放在王的心里，要美化在耶路撒冷的主的家；

    以斯拉说：“耶和华我们列祖的　神是应当称颂的！因他使王起这心意修饰耶路撒冷耶和华的殿，

    Blessed be the LORD God of our fathers, which hath put such a thing as this in the king's heart, to beautify the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem:

28. 28

    又在王和谋士，并大能的军长面前施怜悯于我。因耶和华我神的手帮助我，我就得以坚强，从以色列中招聚首领，与我一起上来。

    又在王和众议士并大能的王子们面前向我延长了怜悯。因主我的神的手在我身上，我就被加强，然后我从以色列中聚集首领们，与我一起上来。

    又在王和谋士，并大能的军长面前施恩于我。因耶和华我　神的手帮助我，我就得以坚强，从以色列中招聚首领，与我一同上来。”

    And hath extended mercy unto me before the king, and his counsellors, and before all the king's mighty princes. And I was strengthened as the hand of the LORD my God was upon me, and I gathered together out of Israel chief men to go up with me.
