1. 1

   耶和华对摩西说，我曾起誓应许亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各说，要将这地给你的种子。现在你和你从埃及地所领出来的百姓，要从这里往那地去。

   主对摩西说，你和你带出埃及的土地上来的人民，离开，从这里上那土地去吧，就是我向亚伯拉罕，向埃撒克，向雅克布发誓，说，要把它给你种子的那地；

   耶和华吩咐摩西说：“我曾起誓应许亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各说：‘要将迦南地赐给你的后裔。’现在你和你从埃及地所领出来的百姓，要从这里往那地去。

   And the LORD said unto Moses, Depart, and go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I sware unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it:

   我要差天使在你前面，赶出迦南人、亚摩利人、赫人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人，

   我要派一个天使在你前面；并且我要赶走刊南人，阿摩瑞人，希斯人，皮瑞兹人，希未人，耶布斯人；

   我要差遣使者在你前面，撵出迦南人、亚摩利人、赫人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人，

   And I will send an angel before thee; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:

   领你到那流奶与蜜之地。我自己不与你一起上去；因为你是硬着脖子的百姓，恐怕我在路上把你灭绝。

   去到一块流奶与蜜的土地；因我不会在你中间上去；因你是一群硬着脖子的人民；以免我在路途中把你消灭了。

   领你到那流奶与蜜之地。我自己不同你们上去；因为你们是硬着颈项的百姓，恐怕我在路上把你们灭绝。”

   Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I consume thee in the way.

4. 4

   百姓听见这恶信就悲哀，也没有人佩戴他的饰品。

   当人民听见这些坏消息，他们就哀悼；也没有人佩戴他的饰品。

   百姓听见这凶信就悲哀，也没有人佩戴妆饰。

   And when the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned: and no man did put on him his ornaments.

5. 5

   因为耶和华对摩西说，你对以色列儿女说，你们是硬着脖子的百姓，我若瞬时来到你中间，必灭绝你。现在你要把身上的饰品摘下来，使我可以知道怎样待你。

   因为主对摩西说了，你对以色列孩子们说，你们是一群硬着脖子的人民；我要立刻来到你中间消灭你；因此，现在你把身上的饰品都摘下来，使我可以知道对你做什么。

   耶和华对摩西说：“你告诉以色列人说：‘耶和华说：你们是硬着颈项的百姓，我若一霎时临到你们中间，必灭绝你们。现在你们要把身上的妆饰摘下来，使我可以知道怎样待你们。’”

   For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee.

6. 6

   以色列儿女在何烈山那里，把身上的饰品摘得干净。

   以色列孩子们在和瑞布山那里，把他们身上的饰品摘下来。

   以色列人从住何烈山以后，就把身上的妆饰摘得干净。

   And the children of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments by the mount Horeb.

7. 7

   摩西将帐幕支搭在营外，离营却远，他称它为集会的帐幕。凡求问耶和华的，就到营外集会的帐幕那里去。

   然后摩西把帐幕支搭在营地外，远离营地，并把它叫作集合的帐幕。这样发生了，每一个寻求主的，就到营地外集合的帐幕那里去。

   摩西素常将帐棚支搭在营外，离营却远，他称这帐棚为会幕。凡求问耶和华的，就到营外的会幕那里去。

   And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp.

8. 8

   当摩西出营到帐幕去的时候，百姓就都起来，各人站在自己帐篷的门口，望着摩西，直到他进了帐幕。

   这样发生了，当摩西出去到帐幕的时候，所有人民就都起来，每人站在他的帐篷门口，注视着摩西，直到他走进了帐幕。

   当摩西出营到会幕去的时候，百姓就都起来，各人站在自己帐棚的门口，望着摩西，直等到他进了会幕。

   And it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses, until he was gone into the tabernacle.

9. 9

   摩西进帐幕的时候，云柱降下来，立在帐幕的门前，耶和华便与摩西说话。

   这样发生了，在摩西进入帐幕的时候，云柱就降下来，立在帐幕的门前，主就与摩西说话。

   摩西进会幕的时候，云柱降下来，立在会幕的门前，耶和华便与摩西说话。

   And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses.

10. 10

    众百姓看见云柱立在帐幕门前，就都起来，各人在自己帐篷的门口敬拜。

    所有人民看见云柱立在帐幕门前；所有人民就都起来，每个人在他的帐篷门里敬拜。

    众百姓看见云柱立在会幕门前，就都起来，各人在自己帐棚的门口下拜。

    And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door.

11. 11

    耶和华与摩西面对面说话，好像人与朋友说话一般。摩西转到营里去，唯有他的仆人，一个少年人嫩的儿子约书亚不离开帐幕。

    主与摩西脸对脸讲话，好像人与他的朋友讲话一样。他就转回营地里去；但他的仆人约书亚，嫩的儿子，一个年轻人，他不离开帐幕。

    耶和华与摩西面对面说话，好像人与朋友说话一般。摩西转到营里去，惟有他的帮手一个少年人嫩的儿子约书亚不离开会幕。

    And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.

12. 12

    摩西对耶和华说，看，你对我说，将这百姓领上去，却没有叫我知道你要派谁与我一起去，只说，我按你的名认识你，你在我眼前也蒙了恩典。

    摩西对主说，看，你对我说，把这人民带上去；你却不让我知道你要派谁与我一起去。而你说过，我按名认识你，你在我眼里也找到了恩典。

    摩西对耶和华说：“你吩咐我说：‘将这百姓领上去’，却没有叫我知道你要打发谁与我同去，只说：‘我按你的名认识你，你在我眼前也蒙了恩。’

    And Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.

13. 13

    我现在若在你眼前蒙恩典，求你现在将你的道路指示我，使我可以认识你，好在你眼前蒙恩典。求你想到这民是你的民。

    因此，现在我请求你，如果我在你眼里找到恩典，就把你的道路显给我，使我可以认识你，我就可以在你眼里找到恩典；并且考虑一下这国家是你的人民。

    我如今若在你眼前蒙恩，求你将你的道指示我，使我可以认识你，好在你眼前蒙恩。求你想到这民是你的民。”

    Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.

14. 14

    他说，我必亲自和你一起去，我要给你安息。

    他说，我的同在会和你一起去，我又要给你休息。

    耶和华说：“我必亲自和你同去，使你得安息。”

    And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

15. 15

    摩西对他说，你若不亲自和我一起去，就不要把我们从这里领上去。

    然后他对他说，如果你的同在不和我一起去，就不要把我们从这里带上去。

    摩西说：“你若不亲自和我同去，就不要把我们从这里领上去。

    And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.

16. 16

    人在何事上得以知道我和你的百姓在你眼前蒙恩典呢？难道不是因你与我们一起去、使我和你的百姓与地面上的万民分离开吗？

    能在什么事情里知道我和你的人民在你的眼里找到恩典了？不就是在你与我们一起走这件事情里？这样我们就会被分开，我和你的人民，脱离这地的脸上的所有人民。

    人在何事上得以知道我和你的百姓在你眼前蒙恩呢？岂不是因你与我们同去、使我和你的百姓与地上的万民有分别吗？”

    For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.

17. 17

    耶和华对摩西说，你所说的这些我也要行；因为你在我眼前蒙了恩，并且我按你的名认识你。

    主对摩西说，你讲的这事，我也要做；因为你已经在我眼里找到了恩典，并且我按名认识你。

    耶和华对摩西说：“你这所求的我也要行；因为你在我眼前蒙了恩，并且我按你的名认识你。”

    And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.

18. 18

    他说，我恳求你向我显出你的荣耀。

    然后他说，我恳请你，向我显出你的荣耀。

    摩西说：“求你显出你的荣耀给我看。”

    And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.

19. 19

    他说，我要显我一切的良善，在你面前经过，在你面前宣告耶和华的名。我要恩待谁就恩待谁，要怜悯谁就怜悯谁。

    他说，我会使我所有的美好从你面前经过，我会在你面前宣告主的名；我要恩待谁就恩待谁，我要怜悯谁就怜悯谁。

    耶和华说：“我要显我一切的恩慈，在你面前经过，宣告我的名。我要恩待谁就恩待谁；要怜悯谁就怜悯谁”；

    And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.

20. 20

    他又说，你不能看见我的面，因为没有人见了我还能活。

    他又说，你不能看见我的脸；因为没有人见我还能活着。

    又说：“你不能看见我的面，因为人见我的面不能存活。”

    And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.

21. 21

    耶和华说，看啊，在我这里有个地方，你要站在磐石上。

    主说，看啊，在我旁边有个地方，你要站在一块岩石上；

    耶和华说：“看哪，在我这里有地方，你要站在磐石上。

    And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:

22. 22

    它必发生，我的荣耀经过的时候，我必将你放在磐石穴中，用我的手遮盖你，等我过去，

    会这样发生，我的荣耀经过的时候，我要把你放在一个岩石穴里，并且我经过的时候要用我的手遮盖你；

    我的荣耀经过的时候，我必将你放在磐石穴中，用我的手遮掩你，等我过去，

    And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:

23. 23

    然后我要将我的手收回，你就能看见我的背，却不见我的面。

    然后我要收回我的手，你就会看见我的背部；但不会看见我的脸。

    然后我要将我的手收回，你就得见我的背，却不得见我的面。”

    And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.
