尼布甲尼撒王告诉住在全地各民、各国、各语言的人说，愿你们大享平安。
尼布卡得尼扎王告知住在全地上的所有人民，各国，和各语言的人，说；愿和平成倍增加归给你们。
尼布甲尼撒王晓谕住在全地各方、各国、各族的人说：“愿你们大享平安！
Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.

我乐意将高处的神向我所行的迹象和奇事宣扬出来。
我想把高处的神向我行的众迹象和众奇事显出来是好的。
我乐意将至高的　神向我所行的神迹奇事宣扬出来。
I thought it good to shew the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me.
3
他的迹象何等伟大。他的奇事何等大能。他的国是永远的；他的权柄存到万代。
他的迹象多么伟大！他的奇事多么大能！他的王国是个永远的王国，他的统领权直到世世代代。
他的神迹何其大！他的奇事何其盛！他的国是永远的；他的权柄存到万代！
How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.

我尼布甲尼撒安居在我的家中，平顺在殿内。
我尼布卡得尼扎在我的家里休息，又在我的殿里兴旺；
“我尼布甲尼撒安居在宫中，平顺在殿内。
I Nebuchadnezzar was at rest in mine house, and flourishing in my palace:

我见了一梦，使我惧怕。我在床上的思念，并脑中的异象，使我惊惶。
我见到一个使我害怕的梦，我在床上的想法和我头中的异象，就搅扰我。
我做了一梦，使我惧怕。我在床上的思念，并脑中的异象，使我惊惶。
I saw a dream which made me afraid, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me.

所以我下命令召巴比伦的一切智慧人到我面前，叫他们把梦的讲解告诉我。
所以我定了一个旨意带巴比伦的一切智慧人来到我面前，从而他们可以使我知道这梦的解释。
所以我降旨召巴比伦的一切哲士到我面前，叫他们把梦的讲解告诉我。
Therefore made I a decree to bring in all the wise men of Babylon before me, that they might make known unto me the interpretation of the dream.

于是那些巫师、用法术的、迦勒底人、观兆的都进来，我将那梦告诉了他们，他们却不能把梦的讲解告诉我。
于是众魔法师，众占星者，众卡尔迪亚人，众占卜者都进来；然后我在他们面前说了这梦；他们却没有使我知道梦的解释。
于是那些术士、用法术的、迦勒底人、观兆的都进来，我将那梦告诉了他们，他们却不能把梦的讲解告诉我。
Then came in the magicians, the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers: and I told the dream before them; but they did not make known unto me the interpretation thereof.

最后，但以理来到我面前，他名称为伯提沙撒，就是我众神的名，他里头有众圣神的灵，我将梦告诉他说，
但最后，但尼尔进来到我面前，他的名是贝尔提沙扎，是按照我的众神的名起的，在他里面有神圣之众神的灵；然后我在他面前说了这梦，说，
末后那照我　神的名，称为伯提沙撒的但以理来到我面前，他里头有圣神的灵，我将梦告诉他说：
But at the last Daniel came in before me, whose name was Belteshazzar, according to the name of my God, and in whom is the spirit of the holy gods: and before him I told the dream, saying,

众巫师的师傅伯提沙撒啊，因我知道你里头有众圣神的灵，什么隐秘的事都不能使你为难。现在要把我梦中所见的异象和梦的讲解告诉我。
众魔法师的师傅贝尔提沙扎啊，因我知道神圣之众神的灵在你里面，并且没有什么秘密能搅扰你，把我梦中见到的异象及其解释告诉我吧。
‘术士的领袖伯提沙撒啊，因我知道你里头有圣神的灵，什么奥秘的事都不能使你为难。现在要把我梦中所见的异象和梦的讲解告诉我。’
O Belteshazzar, master of the magicians, because I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in thee, and no secret troubleth thee, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen, and the interpretation thereof.

我在床上脑中的异象是这样：我看见地当中有一棵树，极其高大。
在床上，我头里的异象是这样的；我看见在这地当中有一棵树，其高度是巨大的。
“我在床上脑中的异象是这样：我看见地当中有一棵树，极其高大。
Thus were the visions of mine head in my bed; I saw, and behold a tree in the midst of the earth, and the height thereof was great.

那树渐长，而且坚固，高得顶天，从全地的尽头都能看见，
那树长大，并强壮，其高度达到了天，其视野去到这全地的尽头；
那树渐长，而且坚固，高得顶天，从地极都能看见，
The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the end of all the earth:

叶子华美，果子很多，可作众生的食物；田野的走兽卧在其荫下，天上的飞禽宿在其枝上；所有肉体都从这树得食。
其树叶漂亮，其果子也很多，它里面是给一切的食物；田野的兽都卧在它荫下，天上的飞禽住在其枝上；并且所有肉体都从它得喂养。
叶子华美，果子甚多，可作众生的食物；田野的走兽卧在荫下，天空的飞鸟宿在枝上；凡有血气的都从这树得食。
The leaves thereof were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it.

我在床上脑中的异象，见有一位守望的圣者从天而降。
在床上，我在我头里的异象中看见，有个守望者和一个神圣者从天上下来；
“我在床上脑中的异象，见有一位守望的圣者从天而降。
I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven;

大声呼叫说，伐倒这树。砍下枝子。摇掉叶子。抛散果子。使走兽离开树下，飞禽躲开他的树枝。
他大声喊叫，这样说，劈倒这树，砍下他的众枝子，抖掉他的叶子，分散他的果子；让兽都从它下面离开，飞禽也离开他的枝子；
大声呼叫说：‘伐倒这树！砍下枝子！摇掉叶子！抛散果子！使走兽离开树下，飞鸟躲开树枝。
He cried aloud, and said thus, Hew down the tree, and cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from his branches:

连根的树墩却要留在地内，用铁圈和铜圈箍住，在田野的嫩草中让天露滴湿，使他与地上的兽一起吃草，
然而他带根的树桩要留在这地里，甚至与一条铁和铜的带子一起，在田野的嫩草中，让它被天上的露水弄湿，又让这地的草里的兽成为他的分；
树墩却要留在地内，用铁圈和铜圈箍住，在田野的青草中让天露滴湿，使他与地上的兽一同吃草，
Nevertheless leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth:

使他的心改变，不如人心；给他一个兽心，使他经过七期。
让他的心，从人的心被改变掉；就让一颗兽心被给予他；并让七个设定的时间经过他。
使他的心改变，不如人心，给他一个兽心，使他经过七期（期：或译年；本章同）。
Let his heart be changed from man's, and let a beast's heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him.
17
这事是守望者所发的命，圣者所出的令，好叫活着的能知道至高者在人的国中掌权，要将国给谁就给谁，或立极卑微的人执掌国权。
这事是借众守望者的旨意，并借神圣者们的话要求的；为要让活人可以知道至高者在众人的王国里管理，并且把它给他愿意给的任何人，又设立人们中最卑微的来治理它。
这是守望者所发的命，圣者所出的令，好叫世人知道至高者在人的国中掌权，要将国赐与谁就赐与谁，或立极卑微的人执掌国权。’
This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

这是我尼布甲尼撒王所做的梦。伯提沙撒啊，你要说明这梦的讲解；因为我国中的一切智慧人都不能将梦的讲解告诉我，唯独你能，因你里头有众圣神的灵。
这个就是我尼布卡得尼扎王看到的梦。贝尔提沙扎啊，宣布其解释吧，因为我王国中的一切智慧人都不能使我知道那解释，只有你能；因神圣之众神的灵在你里面。
“这是我尼布甲尼撒王所做的梦。伯提沙撒啊，你要说明这梦的讲解；因为我国中的一切哲士都不能将梦的讲解告诉我，惟独你能，因你里头有圣神的灵。”
This dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen. Now thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make known unto me the interpretation: but thou art able; for the spirit of the holy gods is in thee.

于是称为伯提沙撒的但以理惊讶一时，心意惊惶。王说，伯提沙撒啊，不要因梦和梦的讲解惊惶。伯提沙撒回答说，我主啊，愿这梦归于恨恶你的人，讲解归于你的敌人。
于是但尼尔，他的名是贝尔提沙扎，惊讶了一小时，他的思想搅扰着他。王就说，贝尔提沙扎啊，不要让这梦及其解释搅扰你。贝尔提沙扎回答说，我的主，愿这梦归给那恨恶你的人，其解释又归给你的众敌人。
于是称为伯提沙撒的但以理惊讶片时，心意惊惶。王说：“伯提沙撒啊，不要因梦和梦的讲解惊惶。”伯提沙撒回答说：“我主啊，愿这梦归与恨恶你的人，讲解归与你的敌人。
Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was astonied for one hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spake, and said, Belteshazzar, let not the dream, or the interpretation thereof, trouble thee. Belteshazzar answered and said, My lord, the dream be to them that hate thee, and the interpretation thereof to thine enemies.

你所见的树渐长，而且坚固，高得顶天，直到全地都能看见；
你见到的那树，它长大，而且强壮，它的高度达到了天，并且其视野去到这全地；
你所见的树渐长，而且坚固，高得顶天，从地极都能看见；
The tree that thou sawest, which grew, and was strong, whose height reached unto the heaven, and the sight thereof to all the earth;

叶子华美，果子很多，可作众生的食物；田野的走兽住在其下；天上的飞禽宿在枝上。
它的叶子漂亮，其果子很多，它是给一切的食物；田野的兽住在其下，天上飞禽的居所在其枝子上；
叶子华美，果子甚多，可作众生的食物；田野的走兽住在其下；天空的飞鸟宿在枝上。
Whose leaves were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all; under which the beasts of the field dwelt, and upon whose branches the fowls of the heaven had their habitation:

王啊，这渐长又坚固的树就是你。你的威势渐长及天，你的权柄管到地的尽头。
王啊，那长大又成为强壮的，就是你；因你的伟大已长大，并且达到了天，你的统领权去到这地的尽头。
“王啊，这渐长又坚固的树就是你。你的威势渐长及天，你的权柄管到地极。
It is thou, O king, that art grown and become strong: for thy greatness is grown, and reacheth unto heaven, and thy dominion to the end of the earth.

王既看见一位守望的圣者从天而降，说，将这树砍伐毁坏，连根的树墩仍要留在地内，用铁圈和铜圈箍住；在田野的嫩草中，让天露滴湿，使他与地上的兽一起吃草，直到经过七期。
并且王既看见一个守望者和一个神圣者从天上下来，说，劈倒这树，并毁灭它；然而带根的树桩要留在这地里，与铁和铜的带子一起；在田野的嫩草中，让它被天上的露水弄湿，又让他的份是与田野的兽在一起，直到七个设定的时间经过他。
王既看见一位守望的圣者从天而降，说：‘将这树砍伐毁坏，树墩却要留在地内，用铁圈和铜圈箍住；在田野的青草中，让天露滴湿，使他与地上的兽一同吃草，直到经过七期。’
And whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy one coming down from heaven, and saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him;

王啊，讲解就是这样：临到我主我王的事是出于至高者的命。
王啊，这就是解释，这是那至高者的旨意，这旨意是来到我主-王身上的；
“王啊，讲解就是这样：临到我主我王的事是出于至高者的命。
This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the most High, which is come upon my lord the king:
25
你必被赶出离开人们，与野地的兽一起住，他们必使你吃草如牛，又被天露滴湿，并要经过七期。等你知道至高者在人的国中掌权，要将国给谁就给谁。
他们会赶你走离开人们，你的住处会与田野的兽在一起，他们会使你像牛一样吃草，他们又会用天上的露水弄湿你，并且七个设定的时间会经过你，直到你知道至高者在众人的王国里管理，并且把它给他愿意给的任何人。
你必被赶出离开世人，与野地的兽同居，吃草如牛，被天露滴湿，且要经过七期。等你知道至高者在人的国中掌权，要将国赐与谁就赐与谁。
That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.

守望者既命令存留连根的树墩，等你知道诸天掌权，以后你的国必定归你。
他们既命令留下带根的树桩；等你知道众天在管理以后，你的王国必会归给你。
守望者既吩咐存留树墩，等你知道诸天掌权，以后你的国必定归你。
And whereas they commanded to leave the stump of the tree roots; thy kingdom shall be sure unto thee, after that thou shalt have known that the heavens do rule.
27
王啊，求你悦纳我的谏言，以施行公义断绝罪过，以怜悯贫穷人除掉罪孽，或者你的平安可以延长。
因此王啊，让我的建议对于你可接受，并借着正义断开你的众罪，又借着对贫穷者显示怜悯除掉你的罪过；或许它可以延长你的宁静。
王啊，求你悦纳我的谏言，以施行公义断绝罪过，以怜悯穷人除掉罪孽，或者你的平安可以延长。”
Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.

这事都临到尼布甲尼撒王。
这一切都来到了尼布卡得尼扎王身上。
这事都临到尼布甲尼撒王。
All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar.

过了十二个月，他行走在巴比伦国的王宫里。
十二个月结束后，他行走在巴比伦王国的宫殿里。
过了十二个月，他游行在巴比伦王宫里（原文是上）。
At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon.
30
他说，这大巴比伦不是我用大能大力建为这国的家，要显我威严的荣耀吗？
王讲，说，这伟大的巴比伦，不是我为了我的尊荣和我的威严，用我权力的大能，作为王国的家而建造的吗？
他说：“这大巴比伦不是我用大能大力建为京都，要显我威严的荣耀吗？”
The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?

这话在王口中尚未说完，有声音从天降下，说，尼布甲尼撒王啊，有话对你说，你的国离开你了。
当这话还在王口里时，有一个声音从天降下，说，尼布卡得尼扎王啊，这话是对你说的；你的王国离开你了。
这话在王口中尚未说完，有声音从天降下，说：“尼布甲尼撒王啊，有话对你说，你的国位离开你了。
While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee.

他们必把你赶出离开人们，与野地的兽一起住；他们必使你吃草如牛，并要经过七期。等你知道至高者在人的国中掌权，要将国给谁就给谁。
并且他们会赶你走离开人们，你的住处会与田野的兽在一起；他们会使你像牛一样吃草，并且七个设定的时间会经过你，直到你知道至高者在众人的王国里管理，并且把它给他愿意给的任何人。
你必被赶出离开世人，与野地的兽同居，吃草如牛，且要经过七期。等你知道至高者在人的国中掌权，要将国赐与谁就赐与谁。”
And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.

当时这话就应验在尼布甲尼撒的身上，他被赶出离开人们，吃草如牛，身被天露滴湿，头发长长，好像鹰毛；指甲长长，如同鸟爪。
当时这话就在尼布卡得尼扎的身上应验了；他被赶走离开了人们，像牛一样吃草，他的身体被天上的露水弄湿，直到他的头发长得像鹰的羽毛，他的指甲就像鸟的爪子。
当时这话就应验在尼布甲尼撒的身上，他被赶出离开世人，吃草如牛，身被天露滴湿，头发长长，好像鹰毛；指甲长长，如同鸟爪。
The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws.

日子满足，我尼布甲尼撒举目望天，我的悟性回归于我，我便称颂至高者，赞美尊敬活到永远的神。他的权柄是永恒的权柄，他的国直到世世代代；
在众日子的尽头，我尼布卡得尼扎抬起我的眼睛向着天，然后我的悟性回到了我身上，我就祝福至高者，并且我赞美并尊荣那活到永远的，他的统领权是个永远的统领权，他的王国到世世代代；
日子满足，我尼布甲尼撒举目望天，我的聪明复归于我，我便称颂至高者，赞美尊敬活到永远的　神。他的权柄是永有的；他的国存到万代。
And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation:
35
地上所有的居民都算为虚无；在天上的军队和地上的居民中，他都凭自己的意旨行事。无人能拦住他手，或问他说，你作什么呢？
这地的所有居民都被算作什么都不是；在天上的军队里和这地的居民当中，他都按照他的意愿去做；没人能拦住他的手，或者对他说，你做什么？
世上所有的居民都算为虚无；在天上的万军和世上的居民中，他都凭自己的意旨行事。无人能拦住他手，或问他说：“你做什么呢？”
And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?
36
那时，我的聪明回归于我，我国的荣耀、尊贵，和光明也都回归于我；并且我的谋士和大臣也来朝见我。我又得坚立在我国中，美好的威严加增于我。
我的理性回到我这里的同时；我王国的荣耀，我的尊荣和光亮也回到了我这里；并且我的众议士和我的众主也来寻找我；我就在我王国里被建立，出众的威严也加给了我。
那时，我的聪明复归于我，为我国的荣耀、威严，和光耀也都复归于我；并且我的谋士和大臣也来朝见我。我又得坚立在国位上，至大的权柄加增于我。
At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me.
37
现在我尼布甲尼撒赞美、尊崇、尊敬天上的王；因为他所作的全是真理，他所行的也都公平。那行动骄傲的，他能降为卑。
现在我尼布卡得尼扎赞美，颂扬，尊敬天上的王，他所有的工作是真的，他的众道路是判决；并且那些行走在骄傲里的，他能够去降卑。
现在我尼布甲尼撒赞美、尊崇、恭敬天上的王；因为他所做的全都诚实，他所行的也都公平。那行动骄傲的，他能降为卑。
Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
