扫罗也赞同他的死。从那时起，耶路撒冷的教会大遭逼迫，除了使徒以外，他们都分散在犹太和撒玛利亚各处。
扫尔也赞同他的死亡。在那时间，有大迫害攻击耶路撒冷的集会；除了使徒们以外，他们都被分散开，遍布犹迪亚和撒玛利亚各处。
从这日起，耶路撒冷的教会大遭逼迫，除了使徒以外，门徒都分散在犹太和撒玛利亚各处。
And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.

有虔诚的人把司提反埋葬了，为他大大哀悼。
有虔诚的人们把斯迪芬抬到埋葬他的那里，并因他极其哀痛。

And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.

As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.

因此他们被分散到每一个地方去传讲这话。

Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

腓利下撒玛利亚城去，向他们传讲基督。
于是菲利普下到撒玛利亚城去，向他们传讲受膏者。

Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

众人听见了，又看见腓利所行的神迹，就同心合意地留心他说的那些事。
并且人民一心留意菲利普说的那些事情，听见并看见他做的众神迹。
众人听见了，又看见腓利所行的神迹，就同心合意地听从他的话。
And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

因为有许多人被不洁净的灵附着，那些不洁净的灵大声呼叫，从他们身上出来；还有许多瘫痪的，瘸腿的，都得了医治。
因不洁净的众灵用大声音呼喊着，从许多被它们附着的人出来；还有许多瘫痪的，瘸腿的，都被医治了。
因为有许多人被污鬼附着，那些鬼大声呼叫，从他们身上出来；还有许多瘫痪的、瘸腿的，都得了医治。
For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.

在那城里，就大有欢喜。
然后在那城里就有大喜乐。

And there was great joy in that city.

但有一个人，名叫西门，一直在那城里行巫术，妄自尊大，使撒玛利亚的百姓受了迷惑；
但有一个人，叫西门，以前在这个城里用巫术，迷惑了撒玛利亚的人民，把他自己表现成是什么大人物；
有一个人，名叫西门，向来在那城里行邪术，妄自尊大，使撒玛利亚的百姓惊奇；
But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:

无论大小都听从他，说，这人是神的大能。
从最小的到最大的，他们全部都留意他，说，这个人是神的大权力。
无论大小都听从他，说：“这人就是那称为　神的大能者。”
To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.

他们听从他，因他久用巫术，迷惑他们。
并且他们都看重他，因为他长时间用巫术迷惑他们。
他们听从他，因他久用邪术，使他们惊奇。
And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.

但当他们信了腓利传讲关于神国的事和耶稣基督的名，连男带女就受了浸。
但当他们信了菲利普传讲关于神的王国的事情，和耶稣受膏者的名，他们男人和女人都被施浸了。
及至他们信了腓利所传　神国的福音和耶稣基督的名，连男带女就受了洗。
But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

西门自己也信了；既受了浸，就常与腓利在一处，看见他所行的神迹和迹象，就惊奇。
于是西门自己也信了；当他被施浸以后，就一直与菲利普在一起，又看见被成就的众神迹和众迹象，就惊奇。
西门自己也信了；既受了洗，就常与腓利在一处，看见他所行的神迹和大异能，就甚惊奇。
Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

当使徒们在耶路撒冷听见撒玛利亚人接受了神的道，就派彼得、约翰往他们那里去。
现在，当在耶路撒冷的使徒们听见撒玛利亚人接受了神的话，他们就派彼得和约翰到他们那里；
使徒在耶路撒冷听见撒玛利亚人领受了　神的道，就打发彼得、约翰往他们那里去。
Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

当他们到了，就为他们祷告，要叫他们领受圣灵。
他们下来了，就为他们请求，使他们可以接受神圣之魄；
两个人到了，就为他们祷告，要叫他们受圣灵。
Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:

（因为他还没有降在他们一个人身上，他们只在主耶稣的名里受了浸。）
（因他还没有降在他们一个人身上；他们只在主耶稣的名里被施浸。）
因为圣灵还没有降在他们一个人身上，他们只奉主耶稣的名受了洗。
(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

然后使徒给他们按手，他们就领受了圣灵。
于是他们就把手放在他们身上，他们就接受了神圣之魄。
于是使徒按手在他们头上，他们就受了圣灵。
Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

当西门看见使徒们按手，圣灵就被给予，他就给他们钱。
当西门看见通过使徒们的手放上去，神圣之魄就被给予了，他就提供钱给他们，
西门看见使徒按手，便有圣灵赐下，就拿钱给使徒，
And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,

说，把这权力也给我，叫我手按着谁，谁就可以领受圣灵。
说，把这权力也给我吧，使我的手无论放在谁身上，谁就可以接受神圣之魄。
说：“把这权柄也给我，叫我手按着谁，谁就可以受圣灵。”
Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.

但彼得对他说，你的钱和你一起灭亡吧！因你想神的礼物是可以用钱买的。
但彼得对他说，你的钱和你一起灭亡吧，因为你想神的礼物是可以用钱购买的。
彼得说：“你的银子和你一同灭亡吧！因你想　神的恩赐是可以用钱买的。
But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

你在这件事上无分无关；因为在神眼前，你的心不正。
你在这件事务上既无分也无签；因你的心在神的眼里是不正的。
你在这道上无份无关；因为在　神面前，你的心不正。
Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.
22
你当悔改你的邪恶，祈求神，或者你心里的想法能被原谅。
因此悔改你的这邪恶，并请求神，或许你心里的想法可以被原谅。
你当懊悔你这罪恶，祈求主，或者你心里的意念可得赦免。
Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.

我看出你正在苦胆之中，被罪恶捆绑。
因我意识到你在苦毒的胆汁里，又在罪过的捆绑里。
我看出你正在苦胆之中，被罪恶捆绑。”
For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.
24
然后西门回答说，愿你们为我求主，叫你们所说的这些事，没有一样临到我
于是西门回答，说，你们为我请求主，使你们说的这些事，没有一件来到我身上。
西门说：“愿你们为我求主，叫你们所说的，没有一样临到我身上。”
Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the LORD for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.

他们见证、传讲完主的道，就回耶路撒冷去，一路在撒玛利亚许多村庄传讲福音。
当他们作了证并传讲了主的话，他们就返回耶路撒冷，并在撒玛利亚的许多村子里传讲福音。
使徒既证明主道，而且传讲，就回耶路撒冷去，一路在撒玛利亚好些村庄传扬福音。
And they, when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.

主的那位天使对腓利说，起来！向南走，往那从耶路撒冷下加沙的路上去。那里是旷野。
然后主的天使对菲利普讲，说，起来，向南走，到从耶路撒冷下加沙的道路，那里是荒漠。
有主的一个使者对腓利说：“起来！向南走，往那从耶路撒冷下迦萨的路上去。”那路是旷野。
And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

他就起身去了，看啊，有一个埃塞俄比亚人，是个有大权的太监，在埃塞俄比亚女王甘大基的手下总管她的国库，他上耶路撒冷敬拜去了。
他就起来并去了；看啊，有一个埃塞俄比亚人，是个有大权柄的太监，在埃塞俄比亚女王刊达斯的手下负责她所有的宝库，他来耶路撒冷是为了敬拜，
腓利就起身去了，不料，有一个埃塞俄比亚（就是古实，见以赛亚十八章一节）人，是个有大权的太监，在埃塞俄比亚女王干大基的手下总管银库，他上耶路撒冷礼拜去了。
And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,

现在回来，在他的车上坐着，念先知以赛亚的书。
正在回去，就坐在他的两轮车上，读预言者以赛亚斯。

Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.

然后灵对腓利说，你去，贴近那车走。
于是灵对菲利普说，去靠近，让自己加入这两轮车。
圣灵对腓利说：“你去！贴近那车走。”
Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

腓利就跑到他那里，听见他念先知以赛亚的书，便问他说，你明白你所念的吗？
然后菲利普就跑到他那里，并听见他读预言者以赛亚斯，就说，你理解你读了什么吗？
腓利就跑到太监那里，听见他念先知以赛亚的书，便问他说：“你所念的，你明白吗？”
And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?

他说，没有人引导我，怎能明白呢？他请腓利上车，与他同坐。
他就说，除非有人引导我，否则我怎么能明白？然后他就渴望菲利普上来和他坐在一起。
他说：“没有人指教我，怎能明白呢？”于是请腓利上车，与他同坐。
And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

他所念的那段经文说，他像羊被牵到宰杀之地，又像羊羔在剪毛的人手下无声；他也是这样不开他的口。
他读到的书文的那地方是，他像一只羊被带到屠杀者那里；又像一只羊羔在剪毛的人面前无声，所以他没有打开他的口；
他所念的那段经，说：“他像羊被牵到宰杀之地，又像羊羔在剪毛的人手下无声；他也是这样不开口。
The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:

他卑微的时候，他的审判被夺去；谁能述说他的世代，因为他的生命从地上被夺去。
在他卑微的时候，他的判决被拿走；谁能申明他的世代？因他的生命从这地被拿走。
他卑微的时候，人不按公义审判他（原文是他的审判被夺去）；谁能述说他的世代？因为他的生命从地上夺去。”
In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.

太监回答腓利说，请问，先知说这话是指着谁？是指着自己呢？是指着别人呢？
然后太监回答菲利普，说，我请求你，预言者这是说谁？关于他自己，或是关于别的人？
太监对腓利说：“请问，先知说这话是指着谁？是指着自己呢？是指着别人呢？”
And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?

腓利就开口从这经文起，对他传讲耶稣。
于是菲利普就开了他的口，从同一节书文起，对他传讲耶稣。

Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

二人正往前走，到了有水的地方，太监说，看啊，这里有水，什么能妨碍我受浸呢？
就在他们走路的时候，他们来到有水的地方；这太监说，看，这里有水，什么能妨碍我被施浸呢？
二人正往前走，到了有水的地方，太监说：“看哪，这里有水，我受洗有什么妨碍呢？”（有古卷加：37腓利说：“你若是一心相信，就可以。”他回答说：“我信耶稣基督是　神的儿子。”）
And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

腓利说，你若是全心相信，就可以。他回答说，我相信耶稣基督是神的儿子。
然后菲利普说，如果你以你的全心相信，你就可以。然后他回答说，我相信耶稣受膏者是神的儿子。
And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

他就命令车站住，腓利和太监二人同下水里去，腓利就给他施浸。
他就命令两轮车站住；然后菲利普和太监二人一起下到水里，菲利普就给他施浸。
于是吩咐车站住，腓利和太监二人同下水里去，腓利就给他施洗。
And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

当他们从水里上来，主的灵把腓利提了去，太监也不再看见他了，他就欢喜地走他的路。
当他们从水里上来，主的灵就把菲利普提走，使太监不再看见他；他就喜乐地走了。

And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

后来有人在亚锁都发现了腓利；他走遍那地方，在各城传讲，直到他去了凯撒利亚。
但菲利普在阿组特斯被发现；他经过那地方，并在所有的城里传讲，直到他来到凯撒利亚。
后来有人在亚锁都遇见腓利；他走遍那地方，在各城宣传福音，直到凯撒利亚。
But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.
