   那时，希律王下手苦害教会中几个人，

   大约就在那时间，海若得王伸手烦扰集会中的几个人。

   Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.

2. 2

   用剑杀了约翰的兄弟雅各。

   然后他用剑杀了约翰的弟兄詹姆斯。

   And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.

3. 3

   因为他见犹太人喜欢这事，又去抓彼得。（那时正是除酵的日子。）

   因为他见犹太人喜悦这事，他就继续下去也抓了彼得。（那时是无酵饼的日子。）

   And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)

   希律抓了彼得收在监里，交付四班士兵看守，每班四个人，意思要在逾越节后，把他提出来，当着百姓办他。

   当他抓了他，他就把他放在监狱里，并把他交给四班士兵看守，每班四个人；打算在节后，把他带出来到人民那里。

   And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.

   彼得因此被关在监里；但教会却为他不住地向神祷告。

   Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

   当希律将要提他出来的前一夜，彼得被两条铁链锁着，睡在两个士兵当中；看守的人也在门外看守。

   当海若得要带他出来的前一夜，彼得被两条铁链捆绑着，睡在两个士兵当中；还有众看守在监狱门前看守。

   And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.

   看啊，有主的那位天使站在旁边，一束光照进监里，他拍彼得的肋旁，叫起他来，说，快快起来！他的铁链就从他手上脱落下来。

   看啊，主的天使来临到他，一束光照进监狱里；他就重击彼得的肋旁，叫起他来，说，赶快起来。他的铁链就从他手上脱落下来。

   忽然，有主的一个使者站在旁边，屋里有光照耀，天使拍彼得的肋旁，拍醒了他，说：“快快起来！”那铁链就从他手上脱落下来。

   And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.

   这位天使对他说，束上你自己，穿上鞋。他就那样作。他对他说，披上你的外袍，跟着我。

   然后这位天使对他说，束上你自己，穿上你的凉鞋。他就那样做了。他又对他说，披上你的服装，并跟随我。

   天使对他说：“束上带子，穿上鞋。”他就那样做。天使又说：“披上外衣，跟着我来。”

   And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.

   他就出来跟着他，不知道这个天使所作的是真的，还以为他是看见了一个异象。

   然后他就出去，并跟随他；不知道这个天使做的是真的；而是以为他看见了一个异象。

   彼得就出来跟着他，不知道天使所做是真的，只当见了异象。

   And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.

    他们过了第一层和第二层监狱，就来到通往城内的铁门，那门自己开了。他们出来，走过一条街，立刻天使离开他去了。

    When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.

    当彼得醒悟过来，说，我现在真知道主差他的天使，救我脱离希律的手和犹太百姓一切所盼望的。

    当彼得清醒过来，他说，现在我的确知道主派了他的天使，并且把我从海若得的手中救出来，又脱离犹太人民期望的一切。

    彼得醒悟过来，说：“我现在真知道主差遣他的使者，救我脱离希律的手和犹太百姓一切所盼望的。”

    And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the LORD hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

    当他想了想这事，就往约翰的母亲马利亚家去，他又被称为马可，在那里有许多人聚集祷告。

    当他考虑了这事，他就来到约翰的母亲马瑞的家，约翰的姓是马克；有许多人聚集在那里请求。

    And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying.

    彼得敲大门，有一个女子，名叫罗大，出来探听，

    And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda.

14. 14

    当她知道是彼得的声音，就高兴得顾不得开门，跑进去告诉众人说，彼得站在门外。

    当她知道是彼得的声音，她就高兴得顾不得开大门，而是跑进去告诉他们，彼得怎样站在大门前。

    听得是彼得的声音，就欢喜的顾不得开门，跑进去告诉众人说：“彼得站在门外。”

    And when she knew Peter's voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before the gate.

15. 15

    他们对他说，你是疯了！但她不断地说，真是他！然后他们说，这是他的天使！

    他们就对她说，你是疯了。但她不断地肯定就是这样。于是他们说，这是他的天使。

    他们说：“你是疯了！”使女极力地说：“真是他！”他们说：“必是他的天使！”

    And they said unto her, Thou art mad. But she constantly affirmed that it was even so. Then said they, It is his angel.

    但彼得不住地敲门。他们开了门，看见他，就惊讶。

    但彼得继续敲门；当他们开了门，看见他，他们就惊讶。

    But Peter continued knocking: and when they had opened the door, and saw him, they were astonished.

    但他向他们摆手，不要他们出声，就告诉他们主怎样领他出监；他说，去把这些事显示给雅各和众弟兄。于是他离开，往别处去了。

    但他向他们招手示意，要他们保持安静，就把主怎样带他出监狱表明给他们。他就说，去把这些事显示给詹姆斯，和弟兄们。然后他就离开，去到别的地方。

    彼得摆手，不要他们作声，就告诉他们主怎样领他出监；又说：“你们把这事告诉雅各和众弟兄。”于是出去，往别处去了。

    But he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, Go shew these things unto James, and to the brethren. And he departed, and went into another place.

    到了天亮，士兵扰乱得很，不知道彼得怎么了。

    现在，天一亮，士兵当中有了不小的搅动，不知道彼得怎么样了。

    到了天亮，兵丁扰乱得很，不知道彼得往哪里去了。

    Now as soon as it was day, there was no small stir among the soldiers, what was become of Peter.

19. 19

    希律找他，找不着他，他就审问看守的人，命令把他们拉去杀了。后来希律离开犹太，下凯撒利亚去，住在那里。

    当海若得寻找他，又找不到他，他就审问了众看守，然后命令处死他们。他从犹迪亚下到了凯撒利亚，就住在那里。

    And when Herod had sought for him, and found him not, he examined the keepers, and commanded that they should be put to death. And he went down from Judaea to Caesarea, and there abode.

20. 20

    希律非常不喜欢推罗、西顿的人。但他们托他们的朋友王的内侍臣伯拉斯都，同心来求和，因为他们的国家是从王的国家得养活。

    海若得非常不喜欢那些太耳和西顿的人；但他们一心来到他那里，又成为了王的宦官布拉斯特斯的朋友，渴望和平；因为他们的国家是被王的国家供养的。

    希律恼怒推罗、西顿的人。他们那一带地方是从王的地土得粮，因此就托了王的内侍臣伯拉斯都的情，一心来求和。

    And Herod was highly displeased with them of Tyre and Sidon: but they came with one accord to him, and, having made Blastus the king's chamberlain their friend, desired peace; because their country was nourished by the king's country.

21. 21

    希律在所定的日子，穿上朝服，坐在他的宝座上，对他们演说。

    海若得就在定下的一个日子，穿着皇家的服装，坐在他的王座上，对他们演说。

    And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them.

22. 22

    百姓喊着说，这是神的声音，不是人的声音。

    人民发出一个喊叫，说，这是一个神的声音，不是人的。

    百姓喊着说：“这是　神的声音，不是人的声音。”

    And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man.

23. 23

    主的天使立刻击打他，因为希律不归荣耀给神，他被虫所吃，就交出了灵。

    然后主的天使立刻重击他，因为他没有给神荣耀；他就被虫吃了，然后交出了魄。

    希律不归荣耀给　神，所以主的使者立刻罚他，他被虫所咬，气就绝了。

    And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.

    但神的道日见兴旺，越发广传。

    But the word of God grew and multiplied.

    And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem, when they had fulfilled their ministry, and took with them John, whose surname was Mark.
