此后，摩押儿女和亚扪儿女，又有亚扪人以外的其他人，一起来攻击约沙法。
此后这样发生了，摩阿布孩子们和阿门孩子们，还有阿门人以外的其他人与他们在一起，来攻打耶和沙法特。
此后，摩押人和亚扪人，又有米乌尼人，一同来攻击约沙法。
It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle.

有人来报告约沙法说，从海外叙利亚那边有大军来攻击你，现在他们在哈洗逊他玛，就是隐基底。
那时有人来告诉耶和沙法特，说，从超越海这一侧的叙利亚来了一大群人针对你；看啊，他们在哈扎赞他马，就是恩各迪。
有人来报告约沙法说：“从海外亚兰（又作以东）那边有大军来攻击你，如今他们在哈洗逊·他玛，就是隐·基底。”
Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they be in Hazazontamar, which is Engedi.

约沙法便畏惧，定意寻求耶和华，在犹大全地宣告禁食。
耶和沙法特就畏惧，于是定意寻求主，并宣告断食遍及犹大全地。

And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.

于是犹大人聚会，求耶和华帮助。犹大各城都有人出来寻求耶和华。

And Judah gathered themselves together, to ask help of the LORD: even out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the LORD.

约沙法就在犹大和耶路撒冷的会中，站在耶和华家的新院前，

And Jehoshaphat stood in the congregation of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the LORD, before the new court,

说，耶和华我们父辈的神啊，你不是天上的神吗？你不是外邦万国的主宰吗？在你手中有大能大力，无人能抵挡你。
说，我们父辈的主神啊，你不是在天里的神吗？你不是管理所有异教的王国吗？在你手里不是有权力和大能，以致无人能抵挡你吗？
说：“耶和华我们列祖的　神啊，你不是天上的　神吗？你不是万邦万国的主宰吗？在你手中有大能大力，无人能抵挡你。
And said, O LORD God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee?

我们的神啊，你不是曾在你民以色列人面前驱逐这地的居民，将这地给你朋友亚伯拉罕的种子永远为业吗？
我们的神，你不是曾在你的人民以色列面前驱逐这土地的居民，并把它给了你的朋友亚伯拉罕的种子直到永远吗？
我们的　神啊，你不是曾在你民以色列人面前驱逐这地的居民，将这地赐给你朋友亚伯拉罕的后裔永远为业吗？
Art not thou our God, who didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest it to the seed of Abraham thy friend for ever?

他们住在这地，又为你的名建造圣所，说，
他们就住在其中，并为你的名在其中建造了一个圣所，说，
他们住在这地，又为你的名建造圣所，说：
And they dwelt therein, and have built thee a sanctuary therein for thy name, saying,

若有祸患临到我们，或刀剑审判，或瘟疫饥荒，我们在急难的时候，站在这家前向你呼求，你必垂听而拯救。（因为你的名在这家里。）
如果当坏事来到我们身上时，如剑，判决，或瘟疫，或饥荒，我们站在这家面前，并在你的同在中，（因为你的名在这家里，）又在我们苦难的时候向你哭喊，那么你就会聆听并帮助我们。
‘倘有祸患临到我们，或刀兵灾殃，或瘟疫饥荒，我们在急难的时候，站在这殿前向你呼求，你必垂听而拯救，因为你的名在这殿里。’
If, when evil cometh upon us, as the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house, and in thy presence, (for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction, then thou wilt hear and help.

看啊，从前以色列人出埃及地的时候，你不让以色列人侵犯亚扪儿女、摩押人，和西珥山人，他们就离开他们，不毁灭他们；
看啊，当以色列出埃及土地的时候，你不让他们入侵阿门和摩阿布及西耳山孩子们，于是他们就离开他们，并没有毁灭他们；
从前以色列人出埃及地的时候，你不容以色列人侵犯亚扪人、摩押人，和西珥山人，以色列人就离开他们，不灭绝他们。
And now, behold, the children of Ammon and Moab and mount Seir, whom thou wouldest not let Israel invade, when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them, and destroyed them not;

看啊，他们怎样报复我们，要来驱逐我们出离你的地，就是你给我们为业之地。
看啊，我说，他们是怎么回报我们的，要来从你给我们继承的拥有地中赶走我们。
看哪，他们怎样报复我们，要来驱逐我们出离你的地，就是你赐给我们为业之地。
Behold, I say, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy possession, which thou hast given us to inherit.

我们的神啊，你不判断他们吗？因为我们无力抵挡这来攻击我们的大军，我们也不知道怎样行，我们的眼睛单仰望你。
我们的神啊，你不审判他们吗？因我们无能力抵挡来攻击我们的这个巨大的团体；我们也不知道该怎么做；但我们的眼睛仰望你。
我们的　神啊，你不惩罚他们吗？因为我们无力抵挡这来攻击我们的大军，我们也不知道怎样行，我们的眼目单仰望你。”
O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.

犹大众人和他们的婴孩、他们的妻子们、他们的孩子们都站在耶和华面前。
全犹大和他们的小孩子们，他们的妻子们，他们的孩子们都站在主面前。

And all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.
14
那时，耶和华的灵在会众中临到一个属亚萨众子的利未人雅哈悉，雅哈悉是撒迦利雅的儿子，比拿雅的儿子，耶利的儿子，玛探雅的儿子。
那时，主的灵就在集合中来到一个属阿撒弗众子的利未人雅哈兹尔身上，他是泽卡瑞亚的儿子，比拿亚的儿子，耶以尔的儿子，马他尼亚的儿子；
那时，耶和华的灵在会中临到利未人亚萨的后裔，玛探雅的玄孙，耶利的曾孙，比拿雅的孙子，撒迦利雅的儿子雅哈悉。
Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the LORD in the midst of the congregation;

他说，犹大众人、耶路撒冷的居民，和约沙法王，你们请听。耶和华对你们如此说，不要因这众多的人恐惧惊惶，因为争战不是你们的，而是神的。
然后他说，全犹大，你们耶路撒冷的居民，你耶和沙法特王，你们要听取，主这样对你们说，不要因这大群人而害怕，也不要泄气；因为这战争不是你们的，而是神的。
他说：“犹大众人、耶路撒冷的居民，和约沙法王，你们请听。耶和华对你们如此说：‘不要因这大军恐惧惊惶；因为胜败不在乎你们，乃在乎　神。
And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.

明天你们要下去迎敌。看啊，他们是从洗斯坡上来，你们必在耶鲁伊勒旷野前溪的尽头遇见他们。
明天你们要下去攻打他们；看啊，他们从茨兹的峭壁上来；你们会在耶路尔荒野的前面，在溪的尽头找到他们。
明日你们要下去迎敌，他们是从洗斯坡上来，你们必在耶鲁伊勒旷野前的谷口遇见他们。
To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel.

这次你们必不需要争战；要摆阵站着，看耶和华的拯救与你们同在，犹大和耶路撒冷人哪；不要畏惧，也不要惊惶；明天应当出去迎着他们，因为耶和华将与你们同在。
你们不需要在这个战斗中打仗；你们自己站着别动，然后看主的拯救与你们在一起，犹大和耶路撒冷啊；不要畏惧，也不要泄气；明天出去攻打他们；因主要与你们在一起。
犹大和耶路撒冷人哪，这次你们不要争战，要摆阵站着，看耶和华为你们施行拯救。不要恐惧，也不要惊惶。明日当出去迎敌，因为耶和华与你们同在。’”
Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.

约沙法就脸伏于地，犹大众人和耶路撒冷的居民也俯伏在耶和华面前，敬拜耶和华。
然后耶和沙法特就脸朝地面低下头；全犹大和耶路撒冷的居民都俯伏在主面前，敬拜主。
约沙法就面伏于地，犹大众人和耶路撒冷的居民也俯伏在耶和华面前，叩拜耶和华。
And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the LORD, worshipping the LORD.

属哥辖儿女和可拉儿女的利未人都起来，用极大的声音赞美耶和华以色列的神。
属科哈斯孩子们和科拉孩子们的利未人都站起来，用一个响亮的声音高声赞美主以色列的神。

And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the LORD God of Israel with a loud voice on high.

第二天清早，他们起来往提哥亚的旷野去。出去的时候，约沙法站着说，犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民哪，要听我说，信耶和华你们的神就必立稳；信他的先知就必亨通。
然后他们清早起来，去到提扣阿的荒野；他们出去的时候，耶和沙法特站着说，犹大和你们耶路撒冷的居民啊，听我的；相信主你们的神，这样你们就会被建立；相信他的众预言者，这样你们就会兴盛。
次日清早，众人起来往提哥亚的旷野去。出去的时候，约沙法站着说：“犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民哪，要听我说：信耶和华你们的　神就必立稳；信他的先知就必亨通。”
And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

约沙法既与民商议了，就设立歌唱的人，赞美耶和华，使他们穿上圣洁的礼服，走在军前赞美耶和华说，赞美耶和华，因他的怜悯永远长存。
当他与人民商议后，他就指定歌者到主那里，又穿上神圣的礼服赞美，然后他们走在军队的前面说，赞美主；因他的怜悯坚持到永远。
约沙法既与民商议了，就设立歌唱的人，颂赞耶和华，使他们穿上圣洁的礼服，走在军前赞美耶和华说：“当称谢耶和华，因他的慈爱永远长存！”
And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever.

众人唱歌赞美的时候，耶和华就派伏兵击杀那来攻击犹大人的亚扪儿女、摩押人，和西珥山人，他们就被打败了。
当他们开始唱歌赞美的时候，主就派伏兵击杀来攻击犹大的阿门孩子们和摩阿布并西耳山；然后他们都被猛击。
众人方唱歌赞美的时候，耶和华就派伏兵击杀那来攻击犹大人的亚扪人、摩押人，和西珥山人，他们就被打败了。
And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.
23
因为亚扪儿女和摩押人起来，击杀住西珥山的人，将他们消灭光；灭光住西珥山的人之后，他们又彼此自相击杀。
因为阿门孩子们和摩阿布起来，攻击西耳山的居民，彻底杀死并毁灭了他们；当他们灭光了西耳山的居民，他们每个人又彼此相互毁灭。
因为亚扪人和摩押人起来，击杀住西珥山的人，将他们灭尽；灭尽住西珥山的人之后，他们又彼此自相击杀。
For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.

犹大人来到旷野的望楼，向那大军观看，见尸横遍地，没有一个逃脱的。
当犹大来到荒野里的观望塔，向这群人观看时，看啊，死尸落满这地，没有一个逃掉的。

And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.

约沙法和他的百姓就来收取敌人的财物，在尸首中见了许多财物、珍宝，他们剥脱下来的多得不能携带；因为很多，直收取了三天。
当耶和沙法特和他的人民来拿他们的战利品时，他们在尸体中找到丰富的财物和珍贵的珠宝，并脱下来的东西多得无法带走；他们聚集了三天的战利品，因为太多了。
约沙法和他的百姓就来收取敌人的财物，在尸首中见了许多财物、珍宝，他们剥脱下来的多得不可携带；因为甚多，直收取了三日。
And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much.

第四天众人聚集在比拉迦谷；因他们在那里称颂了耶和华；因此那地方名叫比拉迦谷，直到今天。
第四天，他们自己招聚在贝瑞卡山谷里；因他们在那里祝福主；因此那同一个地方的名被叫做贝瑞卡山谷，直到今天。
第四日众人聚集在比拉迦谷（就是称颂的意思），在那里称颂耶和华。因此那地方名叫比拉迦谷，直到今日。
And on the fourth day they assembled themselves in the valley of Berachah; for there they blessed the LORD: therefore the name of the same place was called, The valley of Berachah, unto this day.

犹大人和耶路撒冷人都欢欢喜喜地回耶路撒冷，约沙法率领他们；因为耶和华使他们战胜仇敌，就欢喜快乐。
于是每个犹大人和耶路撒冷人都回去了，耶和沙法特在他们的最前面，他们欢喜地回到了耶路撒冷；因主使他们战胜了他们的敌人而喜乐。
犹大人和耶路撒冷人都欢欢喜喜地回耶路撒冷，约沙法率领他们；因为耶和华使他们战胜仇敌，就欢喜快乐。
Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat in the forefront of them, to go again to Jerusalem with joy; for the LORD had made them to rejoice over their enemies.

他们弹琴、鼓瑟、吹号来到耶路撒冷，进了耶和华的家。
然后他们带着瑟，竖琴，和号来耶路撒冷，到了主的家。

And they came to Jerusalem with psalteries and harps and trumpets unto the house of the LORD.

当他们听见耶和华攻击以色列的众仇敌，神的畏惧就临到了那些地区的列国。
当他们听见主攻打以色列的众敌人时，神的畏惧就到了那些地区的所有王国身上。
列邦诸国听见耶和华战败以色列的仇敌，就甚惧怕。
And the fear of God was on all the kingdoms of those countries, when they had heard that the LORD fought against the enemies of Israel.

这样，约沙法的领地得享安宁，因为他的神给他四境平安。
这样，耶和沙法特的领域就安宁了；因他的神在周围给了他休息。
这样，约沙法的国得享太平，因为　神赐他四境平安。
So the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet: for his God gave him rest round about.

约沙法统治犹大，开始统治的时候三十五岁，在耶路撒冷统治二十五年。他母亲名叫阿苏巴，是示利希的女儿。
耶和沙法特统治犹大；当他开始统治的时候是三十五岁，他在耶路撒冷里统治了二十五年。他母亲名叫阿组巴，是示尔希的女儿。
约沙法作犹大王，登基的时候年三十五岁，在耶路撒冷作王二十五年。他母亲名叫阿苏巴，乃示利希的女儿。
And Jehoshaphat reigned over Judah: he was thirty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi.

约沙法效法他父亚撒所行的，不偏左右，行耶和华眼中看为正的事。
他走在他父亲阿撒的道路里，没有离开它，做主眼里看为正确的事。

And he walked in the way of Asa his father, and departed not from it, doing that which was right in the sight of the LORD.

只是高处还没有废去，百姓也没有预备他们的心转向他们父辈的神。
然而众高处没有被除掉；因人民还没有预备好他们的心转向他们父辈的神。
只是邱坛还没有废去，百姓也没有立定心意归向他们列祖的　神。
Howbeit the high places were not taken away: for as yet the people had not prepared their hearts unto the God of their fathers.

约沙法其余的事，自始至终都写在哈拿尼的儿子耶户的书上，也载入以色列的列王纪上。
耶和沙法特其余的行为，自始至终，看啊，它们都写在哈拿尼的儿子耶户的书里，以色列众王的书上也提过他。

Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Jehu the son of Hanani, who is mentioned in the book of the kings of Israel.

此后，犹大王约沙法与以色列王亚哈谢联合，亚哈谢行恶太多。

And after this did Jehoshaphat king of Judah join himself with Ahaziah king of Israel, who did very wickedly:

二王合伙造船要往他施去，他们在以旬迦别造船。
他和他联合造船要去他实示；他们就在以茨安基贝里造船。

And he joined himself with him to make ships to go to Tarshish: and they made the ships in Eziongaber.

那时玛利沙人、多大瓦的儿子以利以谢向约沙法预言说，因你与亚哈谢联合，耶和华必破坏你的工作。后来那船果然破坏，不能往他施去了。
那时马瑞沙的多达瓦的儿子以利以泽针对耶和沙法特预言说，因为你与阿哈兹亚联合，主已经破坏了你的工作。于是那些船就坏了，他们就无法去他实示了。
那时玛利沙人、多大瓦的儿子以利以谢向约沙法预言说：“因你与亚哈谢交好，耶和华必破坏你所造的。”后来那船果然破坏，不能往他施去了。
Then Eliezer the son of Dodavah of Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying, Because thou hast joined thyself with Ahaziah, the LORD hath broken thy works. And the ships were broken, that they were not able to go to Tarshish.
