   神的灵临到俄德的儿子亚撒利雅。

   神的灵来到奥代得的儿子阿扎瑞亚身上；

   神的灵感动俄德的儿子亚撒利雅。

   And the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded:

2. 2

   他出来迎接亚撒，对他说，亚撒和犹大、便雅悯众人哪，要听我说，你们若与他在一起，耶和华就必与你们在一起；你们若寻求他，就必被你们寻见；你们若离弃他，他必离弃你们。

   他就出来迎接阿撒，对他说，阿撒还有全犹大和本雅明，你们听我；当你们与主在一起的时候，主就与你们在一起；如果你们寻求他，他就会被你们找到；但如果你们离弃他，他就会离弃你们。

   他出来迎接亚撒，对他说：“亚撒和犹大、便雅悯众人哪，要听我说：你们若顺从耶和华，耶和华必与你们同在；你们若寻求他，就必寻见；你们若离弃他，他必离弃你们。

   And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.

3. 3

   以色列人没有真神，没有教导的祭司，也没有律法，已经好久了；

   现在因以色列没有真正的神，没有一个教导人的祭司，没有法律，已经有很长的时节了。

   以色列人不信真　神，没有训诲的祭司，也没有律法，已经好久了；

   Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law.

4. 4

   但他们在急难的时候转向耶和华以色列的神，寻求他，他就被他们寻见。

   但当他们在困苦的时候转向主以色列的神，并寻求他，他就会被他们找到。

   但他们在急难的时候归向耶和华以色列的　神，寻求他，他就被他们寻见。

   But when they in their trouble did turn unto the LORD God of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them.

5. 5

   那时，出入的人得不到平安，列国的居民都遭大乱；

   在那些时候，无论出去的人还是进来的人都没有和平，而在各地区的所有居民身上都有巨大的烦扰。

   那时，出入的人不得平安，列国的居民都遭大乱；

   And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries.

6. 6

   这国毁灭那国，这城毁灭那城，互相破坏，因为神用各样灾难扰乱他们。

   这国毁灭那国，这城毁灭那城；因为神用一切逆境烦扰他们。

   这国攻击那国，这城攻击那城，互相破坏，因为　神用各样灾难扰乱他们。

   And nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city: for God did vex them with all adversity.

7. 7

   现在你们要刚强，不要手软，因你们所行的必得奖赏。

   因此你们要坚强，让你们的手不要软弱；因你们的工作会有奖赏。

   现在你们要刚强，不要手软，因你们所行的必得赏赐。”

   Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.

8. 8

   亚撒听见这话和俄德儿子先知亚撒利雅的预言，就壮起胆来，在犹大、便雅悯全地，并以法莲山地所夺的各城，将可憎之物尽都除掉，又在耶和华的廊前重新修筑耶和华的坛；

   当阿撒听见这些话语，和预言者奥代得的预言，他就有了勇气，并在犹大和本雅明全土地，又在他从以弗瑞山所夺的各城中，除掉可憎的众偶像，又在主的厅前面更新了主的坛。

   亚撒听见这话和俄德儿子先知亚撒利雅的预言，就壮起胆来，在犹大、便雅悯全地，并以法莲山地所夺的各城，将可憎之物尽都除掉，又在耶和华殿的廊前重新修筑耶和华的坛；

   And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the LORD, that was before the porch of the LORD.

9. 9

   又招聚犹大、便雅悯的众人，并他们中间寄居的以法莲人、玛拿西人、西缅人。有许多以色列人归降亚撒，因见耶和华他的神与他同在。

   然后他就聚集全犹大和本雅明，并他们中间从以弗瑞，马拿西，西缅出来的外人；当他们看到主他的神与他在一起，就有大量人从以色列出来归顺他。

   又招聚犹大、便雅悯的众人，并他们中间寄居的以法莲人、玛拿西人、西缅人。有许多以色列人归降亚撒，因见耶和华他的　神与他同在。

   And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.

10. 10

    亚撒统治的十五年三月，他们都聚集在耶路撒冷。

    于是他们在阿撒统治的第十五年的第三个月里，自己在耶路撒冷聚集到一起。

    亚撒十五年三月，他们都聚集在耶路撒冷。

    So they gathered themselves together at Jerusalem in the third month, in the fifteenth year of the reign of Asa.

11. 11

    当时，他们从所取的掳物中，将牛七百只、羊七千只献给耶和华。

    同时他们又从带出来的战利品中，把七百只牛和七千只羊祭祀给主。

    当日他们从所取的掳物中，将牛七百只、羊七千只献给耶和华。

    And they offered unto the LORD the same time, of the spoil which they had brought, seven hundred oxen and seven thousand sheep.

12. 12

    他们就立约，要用他们的全心全魂寻求耶和华他们父辈的神。

    然后他们就进入一个契约，要用他们的全心和全魂去寻求他们父辈的主神；

    他们就立约，要尽心尽性地寻求耶和华他们列祖的　神。

    And they entered into a covenant to seek the LORD God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul;

13. 13

    凡不寻求耶和华以色列神的，无论大小、男女，必被治死。

    无论谁不寻求以色列的主神，无论小或大，无论男人或女人，都要被处死。

    凡不寻求耶和华以色列　神的，无论大小、男女，必被治死。

    That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.

14. 14

    他们就大声欢呼，吹号吹角，向耶和华起誓。

    然后他们就以一个响亮的声音，以喊叫，又以号和角，向主发誓。

    他们就大声欢呼，吹号吹角，向耶和华起誓。

    And they sware unto the LORD with a loud voice, and with shouting, and with trumpets, and with cornets.

15. 15

    犹大众人为所起的誓欢喜；因他们是全心起誓，全意寻求，他就被他们寻见，耶和华并给他们四境平安。

    全犹大都喜欢这誓言；因他们是全心发誓，带着他们的全部渴望去寻求；然后他就被他们找到了；主就在他们周围给了他们休息。

    犹大众人为所起的誓欢喜；因他们是尽心起誓，尽意寻求耶和华，耶和华就被他们寻见，且赐他们四境平安。

    And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and the LORD gave them rest round about.

16. 16

    亚撒王贬了他母玛迦太后，因她在丛林中造了偶像。亚撒砍下她的偶像，捣得粉碎，烧在汲沦溪边。

    还有阿撒的母亲马卡，因为她在树社里造了一个偶像，他就废除了她的王后位置；阿撒砍下了她的偶像，并捣碎它，又在基得润溪烧了它。

    亚撒王贬了他祖母玛迦太后的位，因她造了可憎的偶像亚舍拉。亚撒砍下她的偶像，捣得粉碎，烧在汲沦溪边。

    And also concerning Maachah the mother of Asa the king, he removed her from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove: and Asa cut down her idol, and stamped it, and burnt it at the brook Kidron.

17. 17

    只是高处还没有从以色列中废去，然而亚撒的心一生完全。

    但是众高处还没有从以色列除掉；不管怎样，在阿撒所有的日子，他的心都是完美的。

    只是邱坛还没有从以色列中废去，然而亚撒的心一生诚实。

    But the high places were not taken away out of Israel: nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect all his days.

18. 18

    亚撒将他父所分别为圣、与自己所分别为圣的金银和器皿都带到神的家里。

    他把他父亲已经奉献的东西，和自己奉献的银子，金子，器皿都带到神的家里。

    亚撒将他父所分别为圣、与自己所分别为圣的金银和器皿都奉到　神的殿里。

    And he brought into the house of God the things that his father had dedicated, and that he himself had dedicated, silver, and gold, and vessels.

19. 19

    从这时直到亚撒统治的三十五年，都没有争战的事。

    一直到阿撒统治的第三十五年，都没有争战。

    从这时直到亚撒三十五年，都没有争战的事。

    And there was no more war unto the five and thirtieth year of the reign of Asa.
