1. 1

   你们要追求爱，也要切慕属灵的礼物，其中更要羡慕的，是说预言。

   要追随仁爱，又要渴望属灵的礼物，但更愿意你们可以说预言。

   你们要追求爱，也要切慕属灵的恩赐，其中更要羡慕的，是作先知讲道（原文作：是说预言；下同）。

   Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.

2. 2

   那说未知方言的，不是对人说，而是对神说，因为没有人明白他。然而，在灵里他却是讲说各样奥秘。

   因那用未知语言讲话的人，不是向人讲，而是向神讲；因没有人明白他；然而，在灵里他在讲说各样奥秘。

   那说方言的，原不是对人说，乃是对　神说，因为没有人听出来。然而，他在心灵里却是讲说各样的奥秘。

   For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

   但说预言的，是对人说，要造就、劝勉、安慰人。

   但说预言的人，他是向人说，为要启发，勉励，安慰。

   但作先知讲道的，是对人说，要造就、安慰、劝勉人。

   But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.

   说未知方言的，是造就他自己；但说预言的，是造就教会。

   用未知语言讲话的人，他是启发他自己；但说预言的人，他是启发集会。

   说方言的，是造就自己；作先知讲道的，乃是造就教会。

   He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.

   我愿意你们都说方言，更愿意你们说预言；因为说方言的，若不翻出来，使教会得到造就，那说预言的，就比他强了。

   我愿意你们都用众语言讲话，但更愿意你们说预言；因用众语言讲话的人，除非他解释出来，使集会可以接受启发，否则那说预言的，就比他强了。

   我愿意你们都说方言，更愿意你们作先知讲道；因为说方言的，若不翻出来，使教会被造就，那作先知讲道的，就比他强了。

   I would that ye all spake with tongues but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.

   弟兄们，我到你们那里去，若只说方言，不用启示，或知识，或预言，或教导，给你们讲解，我对你们有什么益处呢？

   现在，弟兄们，如果我来到你们那里，用众语言向你们讲话，我对你们会有什么益处？除非我借着启示，或借着知识，或借着预言，或借着教义，向你们讲说。

   弟兄们，我到你们那里去，若只说方言，不用启示，或知识，或预言，或教训，给你们讲解，我与你们有什么益处呢？

   Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?

   就是那有声音无生命的物，或箫，或琴，若发出来的声音没有差别，怎么能知道所吹所弹的是什么呢？

   就是那些有响声无生命的物品，或笛，或琴，如果发出来的响声没有区别，怎么知道吹的或弹的是什么？

   就是那有声无气的物，或箫，或琴，若发出来的声音没有分别，怎能知道所吹所弹的是什么呢？

   And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped?

8. 8

   若吹无定的号声，谁能预备打仗呢？

   因如果号吹出不确定的响声，谁能为打仗准备好自己呢？

   若吹无定的号声，谁能预备打仗呢？

   For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?

9. 9

   你们也是这样。舌头若不说容易明白的话，怎么能知道所说的是什么呢？这就是向空气说话了。

   你们也同样，除非你们借着舌头发出容易明白的话语，否则怎么会知道讲的是什么？因你们会讲到空气中去。

   你们也是如此。舌头若不说容易明白的话，怎能知道所说的是什么呢？这就是向空说话了。

   So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak into the air.

10. 10

    世上的声音，也许有很多种，却没有一样是无意思的。

    世界上的声音，也许有很多种，并且它们中没有一种是没有意义的。

    世上的声音，或者甚多，却没有一样是无意思的。

    There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.

11. 11

    因此，我若不知道那声音的意思，这说话的人必把我当成土人，我也把这说话的人当成土人。

    因此，如果我不知道那声音的意思，这讲话的人会把我当成土人，我也会把这讲话的人当成土人。

    我若不明白那声音的意思，这说话的人必以我为化外之人，我也以他为化外之人。

    Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me.

12. 12

    你们也是一样，既然热心属灵的礼物，就应当寻求那能多造就教会的。

    你们也一样，由于你们热心于属灵的众礼物，就要去寻求那使你们可以擅长于启发集会的众礼物。

    你们也是如此，既是切慕属灵的恩赐，就当求多得造就教会的恩赐。

    Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.

13. 13

    所以那说未知方言的，就应当祷告，求能翻出来。

    所以让那用未知的语言讲话的人，去请求他可以解释出来。

    所以那说方言的，就当求着能翻出来。

    Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.

14. 14

    我若用未知的方言祷告，是我的灵祷告，但我的悟性没有益处。

    因如果我用未知的语言请求，是我的灵请求，但我的悟性是无果子的。

    我若用方言祷告，是我的灵祷告，但我的悟性没有果效。

    For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.

15. 15

    那到底要怎么样呢？我要用灵祷告，也要用悟性祷告；我要用灵歌唱，也要用悟性歌唱。

    那么该怎样？我要用灵请求，我也要用悟性请求；我要用灵歌唱，我也要用悟性歌唱。

    这却怎么样呢？我要用灵祷告，也要用悟性祷告；我要用灵歌唱，也要用悟性歌唱。

    What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

16. 16

    否则，当你用灵祝福时，那在座不通方言的人，因为不明白你的话，怎能在你感谢的时候说阿们呢？

    否则，当你用灵祝福时，那在房间里没有学过的人，既然不理解你说的是什么，怎么会在你给感谢的时候说阿们呢？

    不然，你用灵祝谢，那在座不通方言的人，既然不明白你的话，怎能在你感谢的时候说“阿们”呢？

    Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?

17. 17

    你感谢的实在是好，但不能造就别人。

    你给的感谢确实好，但别人没有被启发。

    你感谢的固然是好，无奈不能造就别人。

    For thou verily givest thanks well, but the other is not edified.

18. 18

    我感谢我的神，我说方言比你们众人还多。

    我感谢我的神，我用众语言讲话比你们所有人都多；

    我感谢　神，我说方言比你们众人还多。

    I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:

19. 19

    但在教会中，宁可用悟性说五句教导人的话语，强如说万句未知的方言。

    但在集会里，我更愿意用我的悟性说五句话，使我也可以借我的声音教导其他人，强过说万句未知的语言。

    但在教会中，宁可用悟性说五句教导人的话，强如说万句方言。

    Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.

20. 20

    弟兄们，在悟性上不要作小孩子。然而，你们在恶事上要作小孩子，在悟性上总要作大人。

    弟兄们，在悟性上不要作孩子；然而，你们在恶意上要作孩子，但在悟性上总要作男人。

    弟兄们，在心志上不要作小孩子。然而，在恶事上要作婴孩，在心志上总要作大人。

    Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.

21. 21

    律法上记着：主说，我要用说别国方言的舌和唇向这百姓说话；虽然这样，他们还是不听从我。

    在法律里它写道，主说，我要用其他人的众语言和其他的唇向这人民讲话；然而，他们还是不会听取我。

    律法上记着：“主说：‘我要用外邦人的舌头和外邦人的嘴唇向这百姓说话；虽然如此，他们还是不听从我。’”

    In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord.

22. 22

    因此，说方言不是为信的人作迹象，而是为不信的人；说预言不是为了不信的人，而是为了信的人。

    所以，说众语言不是为信的人作迹象，而是为那些不信的人；但说预言不是为了服务那些不信的人，而是为了那些信的人。

    这样看来，说方言不是为信的人作证据，乃是为不信的人；作先知讲道不是为不信的人作证据，乃是为信的人。

    Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.

23. 23

    所以，全教会聚在一起的时候，若都说方言，有不通方言的，或是不信的人进来，不说你们疯了吗？

    因此，全部集会聚集在一个地方的时候，如果都用众语言讲话，有未学过的人，或是非信徒进来，难道他们不会说你们疯了吗？

    所以，全教会聚在一处的时候，若都说方言，偶然有不通方言的，或是不信的人进来，岂不说你们癫狂了吗？

    If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?

24. 24

    若都说预言，有不信的，或是不通方言的人进来，就被众人劝服，被众人审明，

    但如果都说预言，有个不信的人，或是未学过的人进来，他就被众人劝服，被众人审判；

    若都作先知讲道，偶然有不信的，或是不通方言的人进来，就被众人劝醒，被众人审明，

    But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all:

25. 25

    他心里的秘密显露出来，就必将脸伏地，敬拜神，说，神真是在你们中间了。

    这样他心里的秘密彰显出来，他就会伏下他的脸敬拜神，然后报告说，神事实上就在你们里面。

    他心里的隐情显露出来，就必将脸伏地，敬拜　神，说：“神真是在你们中间了。”

    And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.

26. 26

    弟兄们，那到底要怎么样呢？你们聚在一起的时候，各人或有诗歌，或有教导，或有方言，或有启示，或有翻出来的话，凡事都为造就人而作。

    弟兄们，这怎么样呢？你们聚集在一起的时候，各人或有一首诗歌，或有一个教义，或有一种语言，或有一个启示，或有一个解释。让所有事情都为启发人而做。

    弟兄们，这却怎么样呢？你们聚会的时候，各人或有诗歌，或有教训，或有启示，或有方言，或有翻出来的话，凡事都当造就人。

    How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.

27. 27

    若有说未知方言的，就两个人，最多三个人，而且要轮着说，也要一个人翻出来。

    如果有任何人说一个未知的语言，就让两个人，或最多三个人，并且按顺序说；然后要让一个人解释出来。

    若有说方言的，只好两个人，至多三个人，且要轮流着说，也要一个人翻出来。

    If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.

28. 28

    若没有人翻，就应当在教会中闭口，只对自己和神说就好了。

    但如果没有人解释，就让他在集会里保持沉默；并且让他只对自己和对神讲。

    若没有人翻，就当在会中闭口，只对自己和　神说就是了。

    But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.

29. 29

    作先知说话的，只要两个人或三个人，其余的人要慎思明辨。

    让预言者们两个三个的说，并且要让其他人判断。

    至于作先知讲道的，只好两个人或是三个人，其余的就当慎思明辨。

    Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.

30. 30

    若旁边坐着的得了启示，那先说话的就应当安静。

    如果有任何事被揭示给在旁边坐着的人，就要让第一个保持安静。

    若旁边坐着的得了启示，那先说话的就当闭口不言。

    If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.

31. 31

    因为你们都可以一个一个地说预言，叫众人学习，叫众人得安慰。

    因你们都可以一个一个地说预言，使所有人可以学习，又可以被安慰。

    因为你们都可以一个一个地作先知讲道，叫众人学道理，叫众人得劝勉。

    For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.

32. 32

    众先知的灵是顺服众先知的；

    众预言者的灵是顺从众预言者的。

    先知的灵原是顺服先知的；

    And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.

33. 33

    因为神不是混乱的作者，而是安静的作者，像在圣徒们的众教会一样。

    因神不是混乱的作者，而是和平的作者，像在圣徒们的全部集会里一样。

    因为　神不是叫人混乱，乃是叫人安静。

    For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

34. 34

    你们的女人在众教会中要保持安静，因为不准她们说话。她们总要顺服，正如律法所说的。

    要让你们的女人们在众集会里保持沉默；因不许可她们说话；而且她们被命令要顺服，正如法律也说过。

    妇女在会中要闭口不言，像在圣徒的众教会一样，因为不准她们说话。她们总要顺服，正如律法所说的。

    Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.

35. 35

    她们若要学什么，可以在家里问她们的丈夫，因为女人在教会中说话是羞耻的。

    并且如果她们要学什么，就让她们在家里问她们的丈夫；因女人在集会里讲话是羞愧的。

    她们若要学什么，可以在家里问自己的丈夫，因为妇女在会中说话原是可耻的。

    And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

36. 36

    什么？神的道是从你们出来的吗？或者，只临到你们吗？

    什么？神的话是从你们出来的吗？或是只临到你们吗？

    神的道理岂是从你们出来吗？岂是单临到你们吗？

    What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?

37. 37

    若有人认为自己是一个先知，或是属灵的，就该知道，我所写给你们的是主的诫命。

    如果任何人认为自己是一个预言者，或是属灵的，就让他认可，我写给你们的事情是主的诫命。

    若有人以为自己是先知，或是属灵的，就该知道，我所写给你们的是主的命令。

    If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

38. 38

    若有人是无知的，就由他无知吧。

    但如果任何人是无知的，就让他无知吧。

    若有不知道的，就由他不知道吧！

    But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.

39. 39

    所以，弟兄们，要切慕说预言，也不要禁止说方言。

    所以，弟兄们，要贪恋说预言，并且不要禁止用众语言讲话。

    所以我弟兄们，你们要切慕作先知讲道，也不要禁止说方言。

    Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.

40. 40

    凡事都要规规矩矩地按着次序作。

    让所有事情都做得体面和有序。

    凡事都要规规矩矩地按着次序行。

    Let all things be done decently and in order.
