   撒但起来攻击以色列，激动大卫数点他们。

   And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel.

2. 2

   大卫就对约押和民中的首领说，你们去数点以色列人，从别是巴直到但，回来告诉我，我好知道他们的数目。

   然后大卫就对约阿布和人民中的管理者说，去数算以色列，从比耳实巴直到但；把他们的数目带给我，让我知道。

   大卫就吩咐约押和民中的首领说：“你们去数点以色列人，从别是巴直到但，回来告诉我，我好知道他们的数目。”

   And David said to Joab and to the rulers of the people, Go, number Israel from Beersheba even to Dan; and bring the number of them to me, that I may know it.

   约押回答：愿耶和华使他的百姓比现在加增百倍。我主我王啊，他们不都是你的仆人吗？我主为什么要求行这事，为什么使以色列人陷在罪里呢？

   约阿布回答，主使他的人民比他们现在多一百倍；但是我主我王，他们不都是我主的仆人？我主为什么要求这事？为什么他要成为以色列侵犯的一个祸根？

   约押说：“愿耶和华使他的百姓比现在加增百倍。我主我王啊，他们不都是你的仆人吗？我主为何吩咐行这事，为何使以色列人陷在罪里呢？”

   And Joab answered, The LORD make his people an hundred times so many more as they be: but, my lord the king, are they not all my lord's servants? why then doth my lord require this thing? why will he be a cause of trespass to Israel?

4. 4

   但王的话胜过约押。约押就离开，走遍以色列地，回到耶路撒冷，

   然而，王的话胜过了约阿布。所以约阿布就离开，走遍全以色列，然后来到耶路撒冷。

   但王的命令胜过约押。约押就出去，走遍以色列地，回到耶路撒冷，

   Nevertheless the king's word prevailed against Joab. Wherefore Joab departed, and went throughout all Israel, and came to Jerusalem.

   将百姓的总数奏告大卫：以色列人拿剑的有一百一十万，犹大人拿剑的有四十七万。

   约阿布把人民的总数给了大卫。所有以色列拿剑的有一百一十万人；犹大拿剑的有四十七万人。

   将百姓的总数奏告大卫：以色列人拿刀的有一百一十万；犹大人拿刀的有四十七万。

   And Joab gave the sum of the number of the people unto David. And all they of Israel were a thousand thousand and an hundred thousand men that drew sword: and Judah was four hundred threescore and ten thousand men that drew sword.

   唯有利未人和便雅悯人没有数在其中，因为约押厌恶王的这话。

   But Levi and Benjamin counted he not among them: for the king's word was abominable to Joab.

   神不喜悦这事，因此他击打以色列。

   并且神不喜悦这事；因此他就重击以色列。

   神不喜悦这数点百姓的事，便降灾给以色列人。

   And God was displeased with this thing; therefore he smote Israel.

8. 8

   大卫对神说，我行这事大有罪了。现在求你除掉仆人的罪孽，因我所行的很愚昧。

   大卫对就神说，我犯大罪了，因为我做了这事；但现在，我恳请你，除去你仆人的罪过吧；因我做的非常愚蠢。

   大卫祷告　神说：“我行这事大有罪了！现在求你除掉仆人的罪孽，因我所行的甚是愚昧。”

   And David said unto God, I have sinned greatly, because I have done this thing: but now, I beseech thee, do away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.

   耶和华吩咐大卫的先见迦得说，

   主对大卫的先见者伽得讲，说，

   耶和华吩咐大卫的先见迦得说：

   And the LORD spake unto Gad, David's seer, saying,

10. 10

    去告诉大卫说，耶和华如此说，我有三样灾，随你选择一样，我好对你行。

    去告诉大卫，说，主这样说，我提供你三件事；你选择它们中的一件吧，我好对你做这事。

    “你去告诉大卫说，耶和华如此说：我有三样灾，随你选择一样，我好降与你。”

    Go and tell David, saying, Thus saith the LORD, I offer thee three things: choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee.

11. 11

    于是，迦得来见大卫，对他说，耶和华如此说，你可以随意选择：

    所以伽得来到了大卫那里，对他说，主这样说，你可以选择；

    于是，迦得来见大卫，对他说：“耶和华如此说：‘你可以随意选择：

    So Gad came to David, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Choose thee

    或三年的饥荒，或败在你敌人面前，被敌人的剑追杀三个月，或在你国中有耶和华的剑，就是三天的瘟疫，耶和华的天使在以色列的四境施行毁灭。现在你要想一想，我好回复那差我来的。

    要么三年的饥荒；要么就在你的众敌人用剑攻击你时，你在众仇敌面前被毁灭三个月；要么是主的剑，就是在这土地里有三天的瘟疫，主的天使遍及以色列的全境施行毁灭。因此你自己说明一下，我带什么话去给那派我来的。

    或三年的饥荒；或败在你敌人面前，被敌人的刀追杀三个月；或在你国中有耶和华的刀，就是三日的瘟疫，耶和华的使者在以色列的四境施行毁灭。’现在你要想一想，我好回复那差我来的。”

    Either three years' famine; or three months to be destroyed before thy foes, while that the sword of thine enemies overtaketh thee; or else three days the sword of the LORD, even the pestilence, in the land, and the angel of the LORD destroying throughout all the coasts of Israel. Now therefore advise thyself what word I shall bring again to him that sent me.

13. 13

    大卫对迦得说，我很为难。我愿落在耶和华的手里，因为他的怜悯极其大，我不愿落在人的手里。

    大卫对伽得说，我在一个巨大的挤压中；现在让我落在主的手里吧；因他的众怜悯非常大；但不要让我落在人的手里。

    大卫对迦得说：“我甚为难。我愿落在耶和华的手里，因为他有丰盛的怜悯；我不愿落在人的手里。”

    And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let me fall now into the hand of the LORD; for very great are his mercies: but let me not fall into the hand of man.

14. 14

    于是，耶和华降瘟疫与以色列人，以色列人就死了七万。

    所以，主就派瘟疫到以色列身上；以色列死了七万人。

    于是，耶和华降瘟疫与以色列人，以色列人就死了七万。

    So the LORD sent pestilence upon Israel: and there fell of Israel seventy thousand men.

15. 15

    神差天使去灭耶路撒冷，刚要灭的时候，耶和华看见后悔，就不降这灾了，对灭城的天使说，够了，住手吧。那时，耶和华的天使站在耶布斯人阿珥楠的禾场那里。

    神派了一位天使去毁灭耶路撒冷；他正在毁灭的时候，主观看，他就后悔了他这坏事，然后对那毁灭的天使说，够了，住手吧。主的天使站在耶布斯人喔南的脱粒场那里。

    神差遣使者去灭耶路撒冷，刚要灭的时候，耶和华看见后悔，就不降这灾了，吩咐灭城的天使说：“够了，住手吧！”那时，耶和华的使者站在耶布斯人阿珥楠的禾场那里。

    And God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying, the LORD beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed, It is enough, stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD stood by the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

16. 16

    大卫举目，看见耶和华的天使站在天地间，手里有拔出来的剑，伸在耶路撒冷以上。大卫和长老都身穿麻衣，脸伏于地。

    大卫抬起他的眼睛，看见主的天使就站在这地和天之间，他手里有拔出来的剑，伸在耶路撒冷以上。然后大卫和以色列众长者都身穿麻衣，伏下他们的脸。

    大卫举目，看见耶和华的使者站在天地间，手里有拔出来的刀，伸在耶路撒冷以上。大卫和长老都身穿麻衣，面伏于地。

    And David lifted up his eyes, and saw the angel of the LORD stand between the earth and the heaven, having a drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders of Israel, who were clothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces.

17. 17

    大卫对神说，命令数点百姓的不是我吗？我实在犯了罪，行了恶，但这群羊作了什么呢？愿耶和华啊，我神的手加在我和我的父家，不要加在你的民上，降瘟疫与他们。

    大卫对神说，不是我命令去数算人民吗？我实在是又犯罪又做坏事；但至于这些羊，他们做了什么？我请求你，主我的神啊，让你的手加在我和我父亲家的身上吧；但不要在你的人民身上，使他们受灾。

    大卫祷告　神说：“吩咐数点百姓的不是我吗？我犯了罪，行了恶，但这群羊做了什么呢？愿耶和华我　神的手攻击我和我的父家，不要攻击你的民，降瘟疫与他们。”

    And David said unto God, Is it not I that commanded the people to be numbered? even I it is that have sinned and done evil indeed; but as for these sheep, what have they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, O LORD my God, be on me, and on my father's house; but not on thy people, that they should be plagued.

18. 18

    耶和华的天使命令迦得去告诉大卫，叫他上去，在耶布斯人阿珥楠的禾场上为耶和华筑一座坛，

    于是主的天使就命令伽得去对大卫说，大卫要上去，在耶布斯人喔南的脱粒场里给主设一座坛。

    耶和华的使者吩咐迦得去告诉大卫，叫他上去，在耶布斯人阿珥楠的禾场上为耶和华筑一座坛；

    Then the angel of the LORD commanded Gad to say to David, that David should go up, and set up an altar unto the LORD in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

19. 19

    大卫就照着迦得在耶和华的名里所说的话上去了。

    大卫就照着伽得在主的名里讲的话上去了。

    大卫就照着迦得奉耶和华名所说的话上去了。

    And David went up at the saying of Gad, which he spake in the name of the LORD.

20. 20

    那时阿珥楠正打麦子，回头看见天使，就和他四个儿子都藏起来了。

    喔南转过来，看见了天使；他就和他的四个儿子都隐藏了起来。那时喔南正在给麦子脱粒。

    那时阿珥楠正打麦子，回头看见天使，就和他四个儿子都藏起来了。

    And Ornan turned back, and saw the angel; and his four sons with him hid themselves. Now Ornan was threshing wheat.

21. 21

    大卫到了阿珥楠那里，阿珥楠看见大卫，就从禾场上出去，脸伏于地，向他下拜。

    大卫来到喔南那里，喔南一看就看见了大卫，就从脱粒场出去，他的脸朝地面，向大卫下拜。

    大卫到了阿珥楠那里，阿珥楠看见大卫，就从禾场上出去，脸伏于地，向他下拜。

    And as David came to Ornan, Ornan looked and saw David, and went out of the threshingfloor, and bowed himself to David with his face to the ground.

22. 22

    大卫对阿珥楠说，你将这禾场与相连之地卖给我，我必给你足价，我好在其上为耶和华筑一座坛，使民间的瘟疫止住。

    于是大卫对喔南说，你把这块脱粒场的地授予我吧，我可以在其中给主建造一座坛；你要全价授予我；使这灾祸可以从人民身上止住。

    大卫对阿珥楠说：“你将这禾场与相连之地卖给我，我必给你足价，我好在其上为耶和华筑一座坛，使民间的瘟疫止住。”

    Then David said to Ornan, Grant me the place of this threshingfloor, that I may build an altar therein unto the LORD: thou shalt grant it me for the full price: that the plague may be stayed from the people.

23. 23

    阿珥楠对大卫说，你可以用这禾场，愿我主我王照你所看为喜悦的去行。看啊，我也将牛给你作燔祭，把打粮的器具当柴烧，拿麦子作素祭。这些我都送给你。

    然后喔南对大卫说，你把它拿去，并让我主我王照他的眼里看为好的去做；瞧，我也把牛给你作焚烧祭，并把脱粒的器具当木柴烧，又拿麦子作食物祭；一切我都给你。

    阿珥楠对大卫说：“你可以用这禾场，愿我主我王照你所喜悦的去行。我也将牛给你作燔祭，把打粮的器具当柴烧，拿麦子作素祭。这些我都送给你。”

    And Ornan said unto David, Take it to thee, and let my lord the king do that which is good in his eyes: lo, I give thee the oxen also for burnt offerings, and the threshing instruments for wood, and the wheat for the meat offering; I give it all.

24. 24

    大卫王对阿珥楠说，不。我必要用足价向你买。我不用你的物献给耶和华，也不用白得之物献为燔祭。

    大卫王对喔南说，不；我一定要用全价买它；因我不拿你的给主，也不祭祀没有代价的焚烧祭。

    大卫王对阿珥楠说：“不然！我必要用足价向你买。我不用你的物献给耶和华，也不用白得之物献为燔祭。”

    And king David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy it for the full price: for I will not take that which is thine for the LORD, nor offer burnt offerings without cost.

25. 25

    于是大卫为那块地平了六百舍客勒金子给阿珥楠。

    所以大卫给了喔南六百舍客勒重的金子买那地方。

    于是大卫为那块地平了六百舍客勒金子给阿珥楠。

    So David gave to Ornan for the place six hundred shekels of gold by weight.

26. 26

    大卫在那里为耶和华筑了一座坛，献燔祭和平安祭，求告耶和华。他就回答他，使火从天降在燔祭坛上。

    大卫就在那里为主建造了一座坛，并祭祀焚烧祭与和平祭，又呼叫主；他就借火从天降在焚烧祭坛上来回答他。

    大卫在那里为耶和华筑了一座坛，献燔祭和平安祭，求告耶和华。耶和华就应允他，使火从天降在燔祭坛上。

    And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called upon the LORD; and he answered him from heaven by fire upon the altar of burnt offering.

27. 27

    耶和华命令天使，他就收剑入鞘。

    然后主就命令那天使；他又把剑收入剑鞘里。

    耶和华吩咐使者，他就收刀入鞘。

    And the LORD commanded the angel; and he put up his sword again into the sheath thereof.

28. 28

    那时，大卫见耶和华在耶布斯人阿珥楠的禾场上回答了他，就在那里献祭。

    在那时候，当大卫看到主在耶布斯人喔南的脱粒场里回答了他，于是他就在那里祭祀。

    那时，大卫见耶和华在耶布斯人阿珥楠的禾场上应允了他，就在那里献祭。

    At that time when David saw that the LORD had answered him in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite, then he sacrificed there.

29. 29

    摩西在旷野所造之耶和华的帐幕和燔祭坛都在基遍的高处，

    因主的帐幕和焚烧祭坛，就是摩西在荒野里造的，那时都在基遍的高处。

    摩西在旷野所造之耶和华的帐幕和燔祭坛都在基遍的高处；

    For the tabernacle of the LORD, which Moses made in the wilderness, and the altar of the burnt offering, were at that season in the high place at Gibeon.

30. 30

    只是大卫不敢前去求问神，因为害怕耶和华天使的剑。

    但大卫不能上前去询问神；他因为主的天使的剑害怕。

    只是大卫不敢前去求问　神，因为惧怕耶和华使者的刀。

    But David could not go before it to enquire of God: for he was afraid because of the sword of the angel of the LORD.
